1 yard fabric sewing challenge: can I make this vintage blouse fit??

I’m determined to make this vintage blouse pattern fit on only 1 yard of fabric, even though the pattern requires more. Can I do it?? I'll share my step-by-step process, and brace yourself for some big mistakes along the way! 😱
