This is where a vintage machine collector has an advantage - I'd have had three machines threaded with different colors. Those were adorable!

  • @raraavis7782

Ah yes, fluff....I just turned a big, down filled duvet cover into two large bed pillows. The mess was truly something to behold 😆

  • @pennysmom6714

I can’t imagine how long this took - since you started with one manicure and finished with another! 🫣🥰 very cool video (and mani colors!)

I just finished batch sewing four dresses (3 adult and 1 toddler) and it was quite the marathon! Good job with these ones.

  • @patarcher1813

Sending you a virtual First Prize trophy for this video. Once again your tips are great. I love all the pants you made.

  • @imbatwoman

I did this recently but with matching Child's, 18 inch and 14 inch Doll dresses. When I did the top for 1, I quickly grabbed another top and did it there. Although it was for 3 items, it "seemed" easier.

I drag all my machines out when I’m changing thread colours a lot. Then i remember why some of them are old machines and put those ones away again. Maybe I should chuck them out next time instead of putting them away 😂

I have that exact pattern. I’ve never cut it and I’ve had it for years. The reason I never used it is because I thought it was a low rise pattern, but it looks like it sits right at your waist. I like pants that fit at the waist. I know you probably don’t want to disclose personal info but your height and size would be a great help. If I looked as good in those pants as you do I would not care what size I wore. LOL. Great video and they look beautiful.

Great job, congrats! If I had a sewing room like yours, I would live in it full time -- so spacious and organised and tidy. Your cutting mat confused me at first; I thought it was pixelated, like it is in a sewing-world witness protection.

I’m a huge batch sewer. It makes life so much easier. Now you’re ready for more tops!🎉

These are all such great colors and the fit looks fabulous on you! Well done!

  • @ivividly

I batch sewed shoe bags for my nephews for Christmas. It was the absolute way to go, but it did feel very tedious to be honest. I wish I could get that pattern still - I really like these pants that you have made! Great video and very enjoyable. Thank you 😊

  • @HelenG-xg3gn

Another terrific video. You’ve inspired me to try batch sewing now.

  • @esmevellacott6869

That’s great why didn’t I think of that so I didn’t think of that so I thankful I saw this video

  • @TaDarling1

Nice job. Super retro vibe. Cigarette pants give me fond memories of Marlo Thomas on That Girl, and the characters of Laura Petrie on The Dick Van Dyke Show and Samantha on Bewitched.

  • @GodsOnlyDove

Such an incredible idea and loved the documentation of the process. I hadn't considered using a neutral-colored thread for a batch project before. Also noticed that you cut your waistband interfacing without seam allowance which is so brilliant! I never paid attention to whether patterns tell you to do this and always just cut out the same measurements of the waistband, then would get annoyed with the bulk. Thanks for all the great tips! And, great (nail) tips, too! Love those colors.

  • @LeaMcHenry

Great video, thank you for sharing! Also, I love the white wrap top you're wearing at the end of the video - did you buy it or make it yourself?

  • @debrariley2057

I have just batch sewn 3 black fleece lined sweatshirts 3XL for my son. Whilst it seemed such a good idea. The black fluff was endless and by the time I got to the last one. I was slightly beyond irritable, kept going because I wanted to get to the end of the mess.

  • @remmym6605

Ive had 2 pairs of pants cut out and ready to sew since the beginning of the year and since then ive done everything BUT sew the pants...i should get to them. Eventually 😅

  • @robintheparttimesewer6798

They turned out great! I never doubted. I've batch sewn but usually easy things. I will have to think about this!
