Powered by the almost indestructible 230CID Tornado straight six which holds a very interesting title of being the only overhead valve engine made in America at the time. This Thrift side model comes complete with 3 speed manual transmission, Warn locking hubs, and another first that was pioneered by Kaiser, the NP 3 speed transfer case which allowed the user to switch from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive without having to stop or clutch.
