  • For sale in our Orlando showroom is a 1964 Jeep J200. Introduced in 1962 the gladiator series of pickup truck spent more than 26 years in production with very minimal changes to the design and mechanics. The Gladiator also was the first vehicle designed for civilian use then adapted for military duty. With a lineage like that you can expect that these Jeeps were designed and built for the toughest of situations. Our restored beauty is no exception to that, decked out in its original color scheme of green and white this J200 can not only turn heads but turn out the trails as well. Powered by the almost indestructible 230CID Tornado straight six which holds a very interesting title of being the only overhead valve engine made in America at the time. This Thrift side model comes complete with 3 speed manual transmission, Warn locking hubs, and another first that was pioneered by Kaiser, the NP 3 speed transfer case which allowed the user to switch from 2 wheel drive to 4 wheel drive without having to stop or clutch. Originally a Florida car this green beauty has been lovingly restored and will provide the new owner with a phenomenal canvas for a trail rig or a great look into Jeep history if left un touched. Located in our Orlando Showroom, this 1964 Jeep J200 can be seen including HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
