As an American, I have always thought Eubanks wit and charisma are underappreciated by the UK. This press conference was gold. Case in point, I've seen Benn throw so hard he puts himself out of position (ergo setting himself up for a counter), I don't see Eubank doing that and I absolutely see Eubank as being one of the fighters that could capitalise on such a mistake if it were to occur. Also - while power may well go to Benn, that doesn't equate to a win or being the better fighter. One thing Eubank has never lacked is a chin. The rehydration clause may affect that and I'm no fan of letting severely weight drained boxers in a ring at all, but if eubanks resilience is the same as usual, I can see Benn getting disheartened when he can't dent him. Plus that jab of juniors is a real weapon under Jones and I can see that breaking Benn eventually.

Agreed. I would rather see both guys fight fighter's in there own division. Benn is starting to make a name for himself in the 1471b division. It's a tough division, and there are fighter's in that division that Benn can fight. Same for the 1601b division, there are top quality fighter's for Eubank to fight.

The only thing going against him here will be natural weight and strength, but given Eubank's lack of real world-class pedigree, it might be something Benn can overcome, especially if he manages to land a decent combo of powerful shots. The only other problem for him would be if both were to have inherited their fathers' respective chins.
His father was selective about who he fought and who he avoided, Nigel fought all comers, win or lose.
