Lancome has changed my skin, I went from horrible acne marks to dark spots and not being confident, and now I am a new person, this product is like heaven to my skin.
Thats good for you! I'm happy to hear that. The only issue for some people is the high price for ingredients that you can get for much cheaper. They have beautiful packaging and it is an experience to use it.
Girl me too!!! I'm 45 and genefique is the bomb. Its like a face lift in a bottle. I've tried cheaper products, nothing compares.

@@Me15U I wonder about this too,but no answer..
Which product did u use for dark spot?
My aunt swears by lancome. She's been using it since she was in her mid 20s. But I find lancome stuff overrated and overpriced.
Me watching this after just doing my skincare routine which is 75% Lancôme
Exactly
I had a great career with Lancome................some of us love it!
Me too 😟
some of their stuff is really nice, i like the SPF eye cream 😍😍
It seems that every time I see an older woman with AMAZING skin, I find out that she's used Lancome forever. Their regular Genifique serum and that bifacil eye makeup remover irritated my sensitive skin, but the Genifique Sensitive serum and their Renergie Lift under eye cream has worked well for me.
I don’t even care about this brand but you’re a smart cookie and I like listening to you.

I would love to see “the truth about” glamglow. I feel like a lot of people have a positive opinion about this brand but I’ve noticed some alarming ingredients such as alcohol in their moisturizing mask and alcohol denat. as the SECOND ingredients in their toner.
I've never had anything to freak my skin out as much as Glamglow did. I wore one cream only for a day and my skin broke like never before.
Glam Glow gave me the worst reaction to a product I have ever had. I avoid the brand like the plague now. 🙅♀️

I worked for Lancôme for a very long time and the reason the alcohol is in Genifique is so that any products you put on after will absorb deeply into the skin. Ideally no one should be only using a serum, there should always be other serums or moisturizers followed after Genifique when you have a skin care routine.
Omg thank you for this !!! I bought the whole set yesterday, came home and cried lol i was supposed to buy xmas gift and i bought myself the set. I have the eye n lash genif, sensitive genife serum, and the genife serum, with the cream and toner and honey makeup removals. Did i do good? My dad lOVEs the cream
Yes I have very oily skin and I’m an athlete living in a very hot weather and I had to discontinue the use of so many natural serums because my skin would feel trapped by them if they don’t absorb immediately
I think the alcohol was what irritated my skin from Genefique. I used that product for a few days, and my skin felt like it was burning and red. I stay away from all Lancôme products. I use clean products now without all the chemicals in them.
Want to know about Estée Lauder especially Advanced night repair 😂
yesss
I used their "signature" eye cream (the brown small one that is like 65 euro), and surprise surprise, it did NOTHING. I even feel like it made under eye skin sooo dry that I need to apply cream 4 times per day ....good money making , Estée
I think he said in another video (although I’m not sure which one) about advanced night repair saying that he has a lot to say but they do have some really good products and particularly the advanced night repair (serum??) idk please don’t quote me on that im just trying to spread knowledge x
YEASSSS
that serum broke me out from my first try. won't touch it anymore.
Who else would love to see Hyram’s skincare routine??

@@Hollyhock7 it's not denial, it just happens to work on their skin. Everyone's skin is different.
Ok this one hurts lol. Genifique has been one of my holy grails for years. This makes me want to cry actual tears. I need comfort food lol.
As a 43 year old beauty/skincare junkie I have tried a TON of brands, even very high end pharmaceutical brands. Some of the Lancome products are my absolute favorite. I adore the Renergie night cream. My very dry skin drinks it up and feels so moisturized. The renergie eye cream is also great for a night time eye cream. Both of these products are Holy Grail level for me. I think at your age, you don’t need these level of products but one day you may change your mind ;-)
Have you ever tried SK11 essence?
I wanna know if that is worth buying.
Right. I’m 37 years old and genifique is my holy grail, I also use the renerhie day and night creams and ppl always think I’m 26 years old. I’ve used it since I was in my mid 20s
I started using a foaming cleanser from Lancôme, my skin has changed heavily. My right cheek which had a lot of acne went away after consistent use. Live by my Lancôme cleanser.
Which one is it?
Same! Lancome products literally changed my skin. Yes, they are expensive. It is worth it. Every persons opinion is different. :)
Same, my skin hasn’t felt better, I tried Cereve and The ordinary and they made my face WORSE. So I dropped $80 on Lancôme and my face cleared up and the moisturizer cleared my dried skin 👍🏻
Is this the Lancome Miel en Mousse? I have purchased it as I needed an oil based cleanser but I struggle with acne and I do not want to use one with comedogenic ingredients?
Glad you love it! I’m a brand ambassador from Lancome! We are in the process of reformulating also❤️ I absolutely love the products
At this point I’m just over luxury skincare in general. There are so many often better, more affordable options.

A video on Clinique maybe? :) That would be very interesting.
yes make it happen!!
@Orange Chavilah All of their products I have used are formulated without fragrance or alcohol. Which is why I'm curious about what Hyram thinks.
Alexandra Arendse I just looked up the ingredient list out of curiosity for their toner or “clarifying lotion” and denatured alcohol is the 2nd ingredient. Witch hazel is the 4th ingredient. Hyram doesn’t tend to like either of those ingredients. It is very strong smelling, I used it in my 20s and it would make my eyes water. I suppose the denatured alcohol acts as a delivery agent for the salicylic acid (3rd ingredient). No fragrance though. I would love to see a video on Clinique because I used so many of their products from the age of about 22 to maybe 25. Every time I’ve tried to use the Clinique moisture surge eye serum, it made my skin itch and I broke out in a rash. That is especially uncomfortable around the eye. I really wish I knew what ingredient could have caused this reaction though, it happens with a lot of mainstream skincare products.
@@bethn9219 Cool, I see. I've never used a toner from them because I prefer korean toners. :) Thanks for the info, I'll be sure to stay clear. But I'm glad that they don't use any fragrance! I really like the dramatically different moisturizer because it works so well on my combo skin.
@@bethn9219 Sorry about the bad reaction to the eye cream! Wow, yeah... There must have been some strange ingredient in there.

They need to STOP testing on animals, first and foremost.
AMEN
Unfortunately that probably won't ever happen if they sell in China as it is a legal requirement there that all cosmetics are tested on animals.
Ca F they don’t.They sell in China, and like all companies that do, have to submit samples to the Chinese authorities who do then test on animals.Get your facts straight please, before you make misleading statements.
@@michaelmarzano2759 That doesn't make it better. They're complicit with the testing on animals. They're not cruelty-free.
Fact: Lancome must consent to have their products or ingredients tested on animals by Chinese authorities in order to import and sell their products in mainland China. It's Lancome's decision to sell their products in China, where they are required to be tested on animals.
I worked for Lancôme and swear by it ! My skin looks amazing ! I was also trained that at certain ages not to use certain products because it does more damage than help. Use products for your skin type and age range. Periot 💁🏽♀️

I still get compliments on how they can’t believe I’m 55 years old. Thanks to Lancôme. Lancôme is generally for women whose skin is aging and they want a more youthful appearance I don’t share your views at all because men skin and women skin are different totally the genefique & eye creams have worked and you are not suppose to use these products because you are so young.

Take it with a grain of salt, most of what he says about the formulas is speculation. I use some Lancôme that I love and won’t give up bc they work. I’m not on the ‘fragrance is evil’ boat. They have highly paid formulators, they aren’t about to put toxins in your skin.so if you love it, use it.

OMG I forgot to mention that too! Yes, huge downside :(
I was also shocked when I started to learn more about the cosmetic ingredients, check what I really put on my face, I started reading with understanding the labels, the same is done by kanebo, dr jart, shiseido, etc. all brands that sell their products in China must test them on animals to enter their market, ayway thank U for bringing this out, people need to know, good job!:)
That's sad , if I'm paying a lot I would expect it to be cruelty free
They do not test on animals. This is a common misconception. They aren’t on the ‘cruelty free’ lists because they sell in China. Up until very very recently ( like in the last few weeks) it was law in China that all products sold in that country were subject to testing, which they did on animals. Which is why many of the big brands are not on cruelty free lists, because they sell in China. Thankfully that will be changing with the new laws in China.
@@susankeller4170 if they change the laws great but till now if U want to enter chinese market U HAVE TO TEST ON ANIMALS and Lancome is on chinese market, period. besides for all the crap they put into their products for me this company is already disqualified, it's nice to have a luxury bottle from la mer, lancome, la prarie but just turn it and read carefully ingredients, U will be amazed....
The brands with the prettiest packaging always have the most disappointing formulations/ingredients.
Elise M cause they spend all their money on the packaging lol

not really true. older skin care products were excellent and pretty too because the production wasn't so big
Kristine S Yeah, it really depends. What the brand stands for, and if they test on animals are important to me. Not the packaging.
Although I have not purchased Lancome products in a while (not cruelty-free!), the Genifique serum introduced me to the world of serums, and changed my skincare game forever! Since then, I've discovered plenty of other brands that provide excellent hydration without the cons.
Lancôme skincare has been the best for me so far compared to other products I’ve used . Everybody has different skin type .
same here, I’ve tried so many other brands and products and nothing has worked besides Lancôme!
I agree, I used all sort of day moisturises and when I've tried Lancôme Renergie Multi-Lift day cream for the first time I fell in love. For night I can use cheap creams like Garnier Moisture Bomb night cream (that works perfectly for my skin) but as for a day, cream Lancôme feels like no other creams I ever used. I don't think the results are only short-term and I also heard mixed views by different dermatologists about alcohol in skin care, many say it's not as bad as we think it is.
@@gisellanahi Thanks for sharing. I used to tell her mom now a days theirs better more affordable things.... well let me tell you now im using some of things in their line and NOTHING compares. And they have reformulated formulas to have more modern ingredients. And the packaging is fancy and luxurious.
@Delcarmen Perez
Absolutely agree. I love Lancôme. Even though I find it expensive I can't get away from their products.
I definitely felt my skin more sensitive and dry after using lancome genifique. It took me a little too long to notice that this could be the product's fault. You never think that something so expensive would actually be doing harm to your skin. I'm very thankful for your content, I finally know the truth!
Omgggg sameeee I started breaking out so badddd😭😭😭
And they would be like pimples that hurt, I never get pimples that hurt which was strangeeee
You’re amazing Hyram you know what you can easily get someone’s trust in like first 14s that’s essentially because you’re so reliable and trustworthy thanks for sharing your deepest thoughts 💭
Ughhh the Genefique Hydrogel Sheet Mask is life though! I sleep in it and notice a drastic difference. You'll have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands 😭😭😭
You will have to pry my Bi-Facil from my cold dead hands
Maasi same!!
It’s excellent . Dude is not wearing eye makeup ... but otherwise he’s right ... the serums are the most ineffective thing ...
Phew I’m glad you agree with the make up remover!! I love that stuff
Omg tysm for making this vid I’ve been using Lancôme for my skin this past half year without really knowing anything about the ingredients so this vid helped me a lot 💗
i have huge exams coming up and your videos are such a nice stress reliever 💓💓
That makes me so happy to hear! Best of luck on the exams! ❤
Did I ever use a single Lancôme product? No
Do I still enjoy listening to your review and am I generally really entertained? Y E S
Keep doing what you're doing Hyram ❤
Fiona Martinez Hyram is the only person who will keep me so attentive on every single fact he has to say about a product without getting bored
I find him too clownish . Does he think he is more effective by using sooo many mannerisms ? As a woman, I feel offended by guys ( !!!, ahem..) that exaggerate feminine gestures .
c jordan just don’t watch him then
I actually really enjoy Lancome and their make up as far as eyeshadows go are phenomenal. They have so much pigment and they last all day! Their skin care is also really amazing as far as my skin type goes; we all have to realize that not all skin types except all types of skin care. I personally feel like Lancome works for me and I have to admit and agree with you that some products just don’t work however, there are many products actually work for me that includes both make up and skin care. I love her eyeshadows, again they are very pigmented! And I absolutely love their mascara because it’s not too dry and it’s not too wet and it stays long and doesn’t drag too much if you cry or get wet. I’m really sorry that Lancome didn’t work for you; you are a beautiful person and I love your personality and can’t wait to see more of your videos. thank you for sharing 😇
I am 53 and when I came across your channel, I gotta be honest and say, a young guy with youthfull skin, talking about skin care products ? I was sceptical to follow you. How short minded of me cause I love how you break ingredients down which makes it easier for me to think about ingredients . And I enjoy your presentations 😁 Thank you for your honest reviews, highly appreciated 😁
Oh don't be so amused. Anyone that can type and google can sound smart and pretend like they know what they're doing.
@@blueblackyellow with all these products on the market, I am happy he does the research, it saves me a lot of time. And as a normal consumer, who has the time and willingness to try out so many brands and variaty of products for different skin issues. I share his views on non fragrance, denatured alcohol, no animal testing, substanability etc. And if I see a product I may be interested in, then I will do a bit of googling myself. So yes, I amused with this channel and I enjoy his youthful personality.
Since I started watching your videos my skin has improved so much! You have really helped me perfect my skin care! Thank you💕💕
Yasss that makes me so happy!! So glad I can help ❤
Denatured alcohol and fragrance to cosmetic companies: Why are you so obsessed with us?
Alexandra Garcia 🙄IKR? Like it’s 20fucking20 drop those harmful counterproductive additives like the trash they are.
I love that you hold brands accountable for their ethics! Cheap mica mining hurts my heart! 💔
I think denatured alcohol can improve the texture, and that's why lots of products have it.
I recently found this channel and have added a double cleanse system to my skin care routine as well as a few products you’ve said are good and I’ve noticed dish a great change in my skin. I’m proud to be a guy who is cleaner open about skincare now ☺️☺️👍🏼👍🏼
As a older woman who likes your channel I found this really interesting, I’ve never liked Lancôme , but learned so much from it
i’m so glad i found this video! i have a sample of the eye cream and have been waiting to try it for a while i’m glad i haven’t touched it yet THANKYOU!
Literally half of my skincare routine. I wanna cry. I love these products
I’m curious on your thoughts on La Mer since they are extremely high end.
He has a video on it!!
He has a video on it! Here is the link ✨🙏🏼

Le mer has caffeine in it
La Mer is crap. Don’t waste your money
He didn’t like LOL
I literally used Denatured Alcohol to strip paint off my floor-MY FACE SAYS NO THANK YOU
Amanda Cooper 😂😂😂😂😂
Absolue rich cream has coconut oil , the soft cream has Shea butter Ive been using the rich cream now for a week wore no makeup and the girls at the department store took a double take they couldn’t believe the results in just a week I’m very pleased 😀
Lancome is such a game-changer brand, for my skin. The rose-mousse cleanser/mask. ❤️ Never failed because they use prestigious ingredients. Luxury brands keep skin silky smooth and soft ngl. I like how customizable you can switch up products to adjust any changes to address your skin’s needs, yes it's expensive.
Omg I WAS WAITING for this ♥️♥️♥️♥️ I'm so exited to hear you out I feel like you are one of the most honest CZcamsrs
Yay!!! I hope you enjoy it, thank you for the kind note! ❤
We’re gonna need an overview of Algenist, I’m personally curious about their collagen serum. And Sunday Riley, specifically their oils. I would love a breakdown of these brands from ur point of view
My problem is that I tried SO many night creams and day creams and I always go back to the Lancome ones because I found they work the best... not just short terms I really do see a big difference. Also I have sensitive skin, but they don't seem to cause any irritation so I have no idea what's happening... :O
Hello which one of the lancome creams would u recommend? 🤗
Just found out your channel through this video, because it popped up in my suggested videos section. I'm liking it so far! Keep the good work! :)
Hyram: Genifique serum sucks!! It’s bad!! No bueno!
Me: Stares at my new bottle of Genifique serum. 😞😵💀
We re the sameeee
Yep same. Not happy
I used it and loved it it could work for your skin
Orla Moriarty the alcohol in the product doesn’t bother me so much since I don’t have dry skin and I use the a good (I hope 😳) moisturizer right after. The idea that it could be damaging though sort of troubles me.
Same here, but this serum works on my combination skin. It doesn't irritate my skin unlike many others, and it moisturize so much
Hyram is one of the only honest skincare youtubers
i really like your videos. You're very honest and you're just amazing. I love watching you first before I decide to buy anything.
Hyram, thank you for telling the truth, there are several items you don't like that I was thinking to get. Now I decide to remove them. A big thanks to you for saving money for me.
