    Damm on point, same feelings. Audio technica m50x when came to my life few years ago, my ears introduced to first love then i have tried lots of wired and wireless earphones/headphones and always thoght, wish they could be wireless as they are and dream come true when i first saw m50x bt and after purchasing them i can easily say the legendary sound signature of m50x carry forward to m50x bt and the best part of these bad boys is that you dont need any eq with any phone bexuase everything sound so alive on default eq and i have also purchased sony h.ear on 2 wireless and boy sony are damm clean but again the sound signature of m50x bt with richness of sound is truly unmatchable.

    Hi. Great video. I have the matte gray
    M50x and they are great. But with headphone jacks being removed from phones, It's just a matter of time before I'm forced to go wireless. I just want to explore all options. I am definitely looking for Bluetooth headphones that sound great both wired and wireless. Are there other comparable blue tooth headphones that have just as good sound quality whether they are being used wired or wirelessly?

    Hello, great video, you made me interested: i'm looking for a new pair of bt headphones but i don't have any experience with the ATH-M50x, so I don't know what you mean with 'the bt version just sound as good as the original ones'. Do these sound good for all kinds of rock and indie music in a balanced way? Or do they produce every single detail (which i personally don't need)? Tnx in advance

      How do they compare to the original wired M50X when used wired? Been using the Sony MDR 7506s forever so thinking about an upgrade with a little more coloring but don't want BT unless it sounds really close to wired version without BT. My phone has audiophile DAC for wired connection only that's much better than the standard DAC so really no use for Bluetooth till I got a 4K Sony Blueray player but being wired is no issue really so wondering if one review saying the BT version is different is accurate.

    • @CSPTech
      @CSPTech  Před 3 lety

      I used the m50s for years as mentioned and honestly, I find with the AptX codec they sound really great. I can't tell you specifically if they don't slightly better or about the same but what I can say is everything I loved on the M50s I loved on these. And if you want to use Bluetooth someone's or plug them in others, you still have that option.

    • @JohnFHendry
      @JohnFHendry Před 3 lety +1

      @@CSPTech Thanks... if no loss wired going with the BT version for keyboards and music seems to be the way to go for less performance demanding use like watching the news... except I have Sony's LDAC codex to use with the Sony 4K Blu-ray player that supports the better audio formats for a high-end digital source for a few favorites so am going to try out the Sony wireless and a few other ones to see if worth the extra expense.

    Hey there, great video! I was about to get these headphones the other day and then I found the Sony 1000xm3 on sale for about 193 euros vs 163 that the M50xBT cost where I am from. I really love the design of the m50 and I listen to a lot of rock and punk, as well as some slower and more acoustic music, so I am not really sure which ones I should buy. From what I've read the sony's are better and there isn't that much difference in price. Which ones do you think are a better deal, and thanks again for all the effort you put into this review, it looks great!!

Also, the volume controller on them is an independent volume leveling from your device, which is not great... even my cheap $60 Covin bluetooth headphones have a volume control that actually will simply control the volume level in WINDOWS -- not an additional volume that I have to attempt to keep in balance with Windows' volume.
