    I just got my pair of the 50BT's about 3 days ago and so far I am blown away by the sound quality! I actually heard another CZcamsr say that they these didn't get loud enough for them. I call BS on that because using them with my OnePlus 7 Pro I absolutely cannot turn them all the way up! They are very loud at about 65%. And my thought remain the same as yours on why the hell did they not use USB C! My guess is that this may be a sells tactic and they will release a version .2 at a later date and try to make those that wanted USB C, buy them again.

      When connected to a PC you'll want to use a DAC
      With phones, it's not like you've got much choice but each one has different properties to the output

    I bought M50X BT today but my first impressions were nt good. I donot know its common issue or i felt it, but when we play a song over bluetooth, volume from the left side feels little higher or we can say more heavy than the right side. I tried reversing them over my ears but then it shifted on my right side. I donot know whether its a issue or common thing, plz let me know if somebody using it. I did not feel the balance on both left and right side.

Even when I go to the gym I find myself using them and dealing with the added bulk over earbuds. @@JoshSalvador I can't say I've ever worn them for that long at a time, the most I do is ~2-3 hours. Overall though I haven't had any noticeable discomfort, these are in the end studio monitor style headphones (regular M50x are regularly worn in many studios as well as other ATH), so they are meant be worn for longer periods pretty effortlessly, but everyones ears are different, your experience may vary, but there are different aftermarket pads available if the standard ones don't suit your ears.

      Hi Rodrigo, first of all one of them wireless and the other is not, so 9 times out of 10 I would go for the Sony just because it’s wireless. If it was about sound quality and my work depends on it (as it does now) I would pick the ATH. If I travel a lot, which currently I’m not I would go for the Sony as well because if the noise cancelling. I think the answer lies in your number one priority. Which one do you care most about: 1. Sound quality 2. Wireless 3. Noise cancelling
      Depending on your answer you’ll know the direction to go for.

    I enjoyed my M50x a lot yet I didn't want to keep M50x forever so I eventually went to M70x and now SR50BT. I think the M50x are number 1 is because they're the best sounding at the most reasonable price that's it.
    I agree I hate wireless and Bluetooth but smartphones are getting rid of the headphone jack. 7hank God I have my iPod

  • @MM-tw7pu
    @MM-tw7pu Před 4 lety +1

    Yea, I have both 1000xm3 and m50Xbt. M50XBt is a bit more clear with instrument separation, XM3s are not too far behind as well with its instruments and clarity but has more powerful but controlled bass. M50XBt bass is very impressive as well but even more contrôlée. M50XBT makes an excellent gaming headphone as well when it comes to hearing subtle distant foot steps, distant environmental effects compared to the XM3s unless you use the EQ etc. (no one likes to mess around with EQ or has the time) But the xm3 are more fun to use and very tech heavy while bringing elite sound signature and bass to the table with adjustable EQ to make it sound anyway you want, worth every penny. I bought these at the same time with in a week and I use the xm3 A LOT more not because they necessarily sound “better” but they are a lot more convince to, A LOT more comfortable, overall sound is negligible unless you need powerful bass all the time, and don’t get started on the smart ANC capabilities of the xm3 to match your physical activity and even at what elevation or atmospheric pressure you are at lol , and smart ambient mode that can recognize a random spike ie barking dog, sirens from normal sound and it absolutely works. Super high tech.
    They are both amazing for what they are and what they bring and in their price categories. But xm3s are way more usable day to day in everyday life. My M50s are collecting dust and the micro USB is not inviting to ease of usability and a charger that is already hooked up to an outlet. I gotta dig up it’s box open and takeout my USB-C to have the M50XBTs charged which sucks. They are still awesome though and much much better the likes of my very expensive old beats pros that are just good for hip hop and even with issues at times with vocals and instruments because of the bass.

      MeisterMusic if it is about pure sound, and no other capabilities like excellent ANC to block the noise around you as well as comfort and many other features, go with m50Xbt. For overall use XM3s are better but for just pure listening and nothing else as well as being Br like xm3, the m50Xbt. Hope that helps. I would try them both at your bestbuy before making the final desition

    • @MM-tw7pu

      1000xm3 are in a different class due to them being ANC and damn best in class too. Pure sound quality at silent space still goes to M50xBT though. But if you combine xm3s great sound quality not much behind M50s and best in class ANC that does not actually interfere with its sound signature, xm3 are simply better all around.
      You can't use the m50s in a loud environment without drowning out the environmental sound with max volume if possible and putting your ears at risk long term doing that. Xm3s make a word of difference and can be used anyhwhere

I am not basshead and i prefer clarity and audio over bass so according to that sony hear on 2 has very deep resonating bass which can be enjoyed with good device in quite enviroments where m50x bt has good bass overall but not that rumbling bass overall.

      Check these out and maybe you’ll learn something that’ll help you not make such ludicrous statements. These aren’t academic essays posted in academic journals but this topic is so well understood that there isn’t a need to pull up essays from MIT, Harvard, or any other credible source. Another topic that may be to your benefit to understand is something called Quantum Electromagnetic Field Theory. It’s a bit complicated but it is in fact one of the most consistent and accurate theories in physics today. It’s great you’re concerned with your health and what your body is exposed to but unnecessary worry does you no good. Also, the spread of false information can cause even more damage than one can expect in the end even if the intentions were in the right place at first. Basically, study up on the electromagnetic spectrum and it’s different aspects/manifestations in the universe and I think it’ll be helpful to you. This isn’t to mention you’ll most likely find it interesting since you seem to be concerned, just based on your post, about electromagnetic radiation and it effects upon living cells, namely neurons. Good luck and I hope this helps.
