There’s nothing more I like in football than brave managers. People who aren’t afraid to come out and give criticism where it’s due regardless if they get the sack or not. Conte was absolutely spot-on yesterday about Tottenham’s situation and if he does get the sack, he would’ve gone down like a hero. And Tottenham seriously need a change. This trophy drought is not even a joke anymore. It’s simply embarrassing.

As a spurs fan it’s difficult to watch every week. I don’t look forward to the weekends because it’s negative football week in and week out. What hurts the most is the investment put into the stadium and the times we’re told “we are a big club”. Not even challenging for trophies and having a negative mindset does not make us a “big club”.

At 6:00 I dunno whether he was on about the media or spurs fans then he said that they never go after the board. Trust me as a spurs fan it’s always been about the board. They just don’t care, they try and undercut every transfer, sign players managers don’t want e.g. danjuma. It’s frustrating when the media does this thing of blaming the mangers they did it with poch, Jose and now conte. The owners won’t go. The problem is that our club is just interested in being "nice". The players are in a comfort zone and management is quite happy to maintain the status quo as a vehicle for self-preservation. It's a jobs for the boys mentality and the situation will not change either this year or next year or ever. I anticipate a massive clear-out in the summer when the new manager takes over the players, Conte hired with the wisdom of his partner in crime Parátici. There is also a DeJa'Vu attitude of living in a mediocre past seen in our fans wanting Lucas Moura playing when he has clearly seen better days. The three goals in Amsterdam were a highlight but not something you can hang your hat on for the rest of your life! By the way, Kane and Son are cooked, too! A massive rebuild is in the wings with a manager who will try to keep everyone happy-players, management and fans. Pochettino is their answer but not mine!

I’m a spurs fan and I have to agree with everything he has said he shares some of the blame for the awful football we play I’ve said for years we will never win anything with enic at the top and the players don’t have the minerals to appear in the moments we need them most. See Conte doing this at Inter when he was annoyed with the loan ins on Barella and Sensi fell lower table teams, he went and got top 3 with Barella having the season of his life and then the next season won the league with Inter.

100% right I have been saying this since 2019/20 poch asked for money to rebuild the team and guess what the owners do because we got to the ucl final think we’re fine and we the fans pay the consequences as much as I hate to say it, it was a miracle spurs got to the ucl final almost a fluke the team had championship quality players in the 1st team just not good enough to compete somehow we got top 4 and a ucl final we should’ve got big money to buy new players and guess what not a single penny these owners have dragged our club into the dirt final after final lost because we were getting left behind in quality on the pitch bottling against teams like Sheffield utd it’s bizarre why anyone would want to support spurs but because we love this team so much we stay for these perform disgusting just want 1 trophy and I’d be happy.
