I really don’t understand why they chose to make the 50 round mag so bad. Meanwhile the MP7 is running around with 60 rounds with -4% movement and a negligible ADS loss.

the jack of all trades smg in my opinion is the striker 45 its pretty meh but it can do a lot of things decently

It feels more like view-kick to me. The gun flops up and down but doesn't pull that hard, in my opinion. I haven't played COD in a while and my wife wanted me to try it out. It was okay, hit marker machine from what I can tell

I don't think it's bad gun by any means I've got gold on almost every SMG so this one coming out ihave to get gold on it so I've grinded it a lot long shot mounting etc and I don't think it's the worst gun it's not grey or anything to write home about but it's not awful it just depends on what you're after insurance slightly worse but I really think at least for me me that's negligible
I guess he just bought the battle pass tiers to unlock the new guns to be that fast.

Just looking at the ISO’s range, I suspect MW wanted to make a fast-firing SMG mixed with an AR to give it a bit more range (especially with the Nightshade Barrel); something like a BO2 Peacekeeper. The problem is that the ISO’s first shot recoil pretty much ruins its ranged potential, so you’ve got a SMG that punishes you for not hitting center mass and up and isn’t really viable at a distance. If you want CQC power, why not pack a MP7, and if you’d rather be better at a distance, why not take the M13?

Lol 10% movement speed decrease this has to be a bug Edit: The base gun has 20 rounds with the 30 round extended magazine a 1.5% movement speed decrease is added witch would mean that the 50 round extended magazine should only give 4.5% movement speed decrease not a 10%

What's stopping people from just using mp5 or mp7? I think IW has a thing with just slapping as much drum mags into guns as they can and make using it such a hassle. The 60 round mag for mp7 only has a 4% ms decrease(based on ace's vid a long time ago). I don't understand why they would release a gun like this and make it's stats sub par.
Ak 75 round drum mag also has 9 or 10 % ms penalty which makes in unusable in warzone and nobody complains about that xD
Panda because it’s 75 rounds in a gun that shoots very slow, this gun shoots fast and has a 50 round mag that punishes it severely.
The developers sneezed when they were sliding the “decrease movement speed” bar for the 50 round magazine.
I feel that this would actually be a decent weapon if they added a 10 mm conversion (or some conversion that takes away the limb penalties, or increases the range by about 25%. That combined with the nightshade barrel could give it a great place in the game, in my opinion. The way I see it, they won’t change the base fire rate or damage, so perhaps adding a conversion kit can increase its effectiveness (like in the case of the AK, MP5, or Uzi). If it’s going to be comparable to the P90, then perhaps make it unique by swapping ttk for more range
Maybe there will be a secret attachment coming out later like the Uzi .41 AE rounds cause I really hope they do...
Really just giving it anything to make it stand out would be nice. Rn it's just a generic fast firing smg that's worse than all the others.
I was actually surprised this didn't have an ammo conversion.
The range is already good. If more is increased then it would take the place of the striker 45 as the smg with the most range. The point of this gun is to be a fast firing gun but with good range. But because it tries to be good at multiple things it becomes not very good. The vlk rougue shotgun is a example of this. It tries to be the middle ground between the r9-0 and the origin.
There should be an apc45 conversion bc that's what there is in real life also the real rpm is 1080, cod ruined what should be the best smg in game.
I thought of an attachment that would make this gun just as good as the top performing smgs: add an underbarrel attachment that lets you attach an mp5 to the bottom of the gun

I’m guessing the conversation about adding new guns for this season went something like “What if we made a p90, but gave it a 20 round mag”
“What if we nerf the piss out of the p90, cut it’s magazine in half, and then for shits and giggles, take away 5 more?”

Below average stats, with big punishments for the "special" attachments and bullet capacity that is unusable in Warzone. Why did they even add this gun? :P

he said that at a very early stage after the not so big nerf. those make the gun shake a lot but didn't really get a nerf to recoil
xNoExcuses- I keep finding some no stock M4s and MP5s. We gotta get a nerf on long barrels because that’s pretty much why no stock feels like it has no recoil

How did they hold onto the gun since release and still release it in this state?
No player feedback for a gun they've kept in the devbox. Honestly, it seems pointless releasing this when the Fennec/Vector already is in the game. They should max out the movement speed (I mean, look at the size of it) and maybe give it a slight damage buff so that it can three hit to upper torso within 10-15m
They should have given it the fastest ads or something
Honestly they should allow akimbo for this gun. Statistically it's an MP7 with more kick and half the ammo capacity, so they might as well make it the most fun SMG while they're at it.
I was actually really disappointed that there was no 10mm conversion like the real gun, that really could’ve pushed the damage values on this gun
I think having a .40 or a .45 conversion would be better. Otherwise you'd just have a worse MP5/10

Why is this the only gun that is severely punished for an extended mag?
Aug with the 60 round 556 ammo is about the same. But it's a different ammo type, so it is understendable.

Wow. The new SMG with all its best attachments is worse than a P90 with no attachments.
I feel like IW is using this gun to test balance for their next CoD game they're gonna develop and release in 2-3 years time, because the current MW meta is ext. mags with no stock makes it really a big meme on the gunsmith etc

What to do when you run out ammo and the enemy is not dead:

How the ISO stats were made:
IW: the pre buff M13 was trash, so adding a 4 shot kill range and better mobility would make it better. To balance that out, we just hurt the recoil, lower the mag capacity, hinder the mobility of extended mags attached, and make it the slowest killing smg in the game. Done. Balanced
You're trashing this gun for no reason. It has great recoil and I like the iron sights, I consistently get 40m+ kills with this gun and it's pretty damn nice. You just don't know how to play lol.

It would've been nice to see the recoil with those recommended classes, since there's now multiple attachments affecting it. I assume that first shot jump is severely mitigated with the nightshade and merc foregrip, but your visuals help so much more than just me testing it out in multi. Especially since the ISO isn't in the COD Modem Warfare Wiki app yet (my favorite place to do gun comparisons)
This pretty much reminds me of the Striker. You can use it, you can be good with it, but honestly it needs some love to become viable in comparison to other guns.

Based off of the B&T APC-9g, this version has a lower receiver meant to accept glock mags. It would've been cool if they had the option in the gunsmith to kit it like the regular APC-9 pro though, I like the look of the APC-9 with the base B&T lower
I don’t mind the first big jump because I generally find myself starting at the chest, I end up on the head without much adjustment because of the first bullet hop. Everything after is very controllable

There’s something about this weapon, and I don’t know what it is because it sucks on paper, but I do really well with it. Like nearly 2.0 KD with it across ground war and regular multiplayer. It’s one of my favourites.

It’s basically just a matter of preference and play style. Some people love using the Kar98k but I’m hesitant to use it because of the slow rechamber speed. Especially when I have an extreme run-and-gun play style.

Its because its hit registration is pretty good. It doesnt feel awful to use like many other guns.

I maxed out my ISO last night, a great combo for attachments that I used was the Muzzle Break & Commando Foregrip. It helps with stabilisation a whole bunch

IW just arent able to add a new SMG that breaks into the meta. The closest one was the Fennec. How can they say in the in-game description of this gun that it is designed to dominate close range fight if It literally sucks at it?

Fennec is trash, takes 15 hits to kill someone while a pistol with the same ammo take a third as many rounds.

Ace I 100% agree with your opinion on this gun and where it stacks up with the competition. However it feels super fun to use which I think is why I’ll keep using it
This gun needs a buff IMO
They should give the 30 round mag by default for this weapon, while scrapping the 20 round mag and alter it to a 40 round mag. Also it needs 20/80 reserve ammo. If you run something other than the M19 or Renetti, you'll probably be out of ammo at 6 kills into a streak.
@Big Prick I dont think its absolutely terrible, just sub par and it needs a bit of love. A 20rnd mag with such a shitty TTK and the 50rnd mag making it an LMG aswell. This needs to be better balanced

This weapon's bullet speed feels a lot faster and responsive than the Fennec's.

Somehow I have been doing exceptionally well with it. Idk why, it feels good in my hands. Maybe it's the range it has that makes it feel like a small AR.

I was using this in scrims yesterday and it preformed pretty well against the mp5 and Uzi. For some reason it's has the mw2 Ump 45 feel to it

i fail to see the redeeming qualities of this gun. i feel like whatever job it's trying to do in the range department is beat out by guns like the striker, and that gun doesn't even do its job well
It would've been nice if this gun exclusively allowed akimbo. I know akimbo won't fix this gun's issues, but it would compliment its great hipfire.

This gun has such a comfortable spray pattern that i dont mind the downsides, to me it has been super reliable, and getting HS has been really nice...
However no stock mp7 is too good, so idk.

Sheesh, Ace is putting in that work to get these stats out. I actually started playing Modern Warfare more because of you even though I still think the game is bad because I find it fun using attachments and stuff that are statistically the best and trying to make the best class possible

No, the revolution gives a 35% range increase and the monolithic a 7.5% range increase which is 42.5% range compared to the nightshade’s 45%.
What is the point of this gun? Would much rather have had the Intervention.
i dont really see the point of this gun either but what would the point of an intervention be? we already have 3 bolt actions (and a lever action) and another one coming mid season. like, if they added it it would just be a slightly different ax50 or hdr, which you could probably already achieve with existing attachments. idk why everyone gripes in the comments about lack of snipers in this game, there’s so many they created a new category to split them up a bit. the dmr category is just sniper rifles with faster stats/less damage and access to lower magnified sights. i just wish they would add more unique and interesting weapons in any category that feel different than any other weapons, eg an94, renetti burst, rytec, mk9 60 mag. the iso sucks because it’s stats are awful but also because it doesnt bring anything new to the game. the intervention would also probably bring nothing to the game. i think it would be cool as an ax50 blueprint tho for the people that like the look of it.
They keep adding SMGs and ARs. They really should just add more weapons in the other weapon groups. The intervention or the R700 would’ve helped the Sniper/Marksman category or they could also add a decent secondary or even a new shotgun. Nobody touches the shotguns so a good new shotgun would help shake up the AR/SMG meta.
Reuben... two LMGs, a sniper, two marksman rifles, one and a half new shotguns, a new pistol... but sure, nothing but ARs and SMGs.
SMGs and ARs are meta IRL cause they are so darn good at what they do.
Mingue Kwak the r700 design predates the vietnam war and is based off the mauser (kar98) design. both designs have been modernized since, see the synthetic stock versions of the kar98, but are functionally extremely similar guns. i think the r700 usually fires a slightly weaker bullet too even. so i’m not sure what your point is. modernized mosin nagant rifles are pretty common in recent conflicts. but i really hope the r700 is interesting, maybe fits in the balance as something between kar98 speed and the ax50 damage. youre right that there isn’t much unique weapons but i’m just saying, there’s no need for another bolt action. in a month we’ll have 5 the cover the spectrum of fast but low damage/velocity mk 2 to slow but high damage/velocity hdr.

They are not viable and if they were at some point, they surely have been nerfed to the ground by IW.
I personally love this gun and I treat it like an assault rifle with 50 rounds and the corp combat holo sight with blue dot and just tear people up no matter what map. Plus using dead silence and the nightshade barrel makes sneaking up on people a breeze

I've been enjoying it, got it up to lv 46 and already had long shots completed, and most of the other camo categories almost done. May not be the best, but its definitely a worthy smg

i know you’re focusing on season 5 weapons at the moment, but can you make a video comparing integral suppressors to the monolithic suppressor like the kilos whisper barrel or the predator barrel.

I use the nightshade, the 50 round drum, the ftac elite, and the collapsible. Mobility downsides are negated and you get all the range buffs with an aggressive mag size for taking on multiple opponents.

The revolution barrel paired with the monolithic suppressor gives you a bit more range than the nightshade. At the cost of using an additional slot of course.
For your second suggested class setup, i think it's better to use the stippled grip instead of slight of hand since the gun have already a fast reload to have more ADS speed since we are using the nightshade barrel
I love how you can turn this into an absolute no ads lazer and a decent mid range smg
I actually really like the ISO. I've temporarily swapped it in to my MP5 setup and My MP7 Shipment setup and I'm enjoying it. I love that Nighshade barrel. It surprises me how well it does as an Assault rifle, whilst still keeping some of the benefits of an SMG (depending on the other attachments). It's a win for me.
Yo my Iso on Warzone is completely different and truly my favorite/best gun. But I dig your setup.
For me u deserve as much as people like teepee to be a host or caster for cod cdl people dont realise how important your contribute to public knowledge is
I love this gun. I use the no stock, nightshade barrel, 30/50 round mags, sleight of hand and a gi mini reflex. this thing isn’t bad at all with these attachments

May I have a reccomendation. When you are going to include gameplay along with two different loadouts, put clearly identifiable skins on them (like the red and blue tiger, but obviously those would require a bit more playtime with the gun, so whatever works), so that all throughout the video we can clearly know which loadout you are using for that clip to have a better feel for if that's the route we want to go with it. It would be interesting if they made it so it had a really high move-speed that could be made a lot higher without the stock. Like up there with the uzi.

I'm doing great exactly as the last class but instead of the stock I use a reflex so I can use it as a SMG/AR type of gun (mp7 like)
if anyone is curious, the current ISO after its buff has a base 4 shot kill range of 17m, revolution barrel will increase it to 23.5m and 24.4m for the Nightshade barrel(this one is a lil disappointing cause it's not a 45% increase like what Ace has stated here)
