*PERSONAL NOTES*
From a first glance, it seems like IW ported 99% of the AN-94’s stats from BO2 into MW. The only really big difference is the fugly iron sights (look how they massacred our boy) and the horrible limb multipliers. This gun is definitely powerful as hell in Multiplayer due to the insane TTK, and despite what Ace and Drift0r think can still be competitive in Warzone thanks to its Hyperburst mechanic making it like an accurate Marksman Rifle when set to burst. I suggest trying it out in both and getting a feel for the Nikonov. If you want to use it more prominently, then try to get used to pulsing the trigger in automatic (like in BO2) to maximize your fire rate and time to kill potential!

Reminds me of the Infrared scope in Black Ops 1, because most of the enemy team would run Ghost and you wouldn't be able to see anyone. In other words, it's pretty bad.

The sight picture is so clean unlike the cluttered NVG or Merc Thermal sights
i wanna see what happens to the operator when you are aiming down a canted sight and reload the gun. do they warp into another dimension?

Out of curiosity, would you ever consider showing recoil patterns for the kitted weapon loadouts so we can potentially see what the improvements make when combined? I ask for things like the fennic/ISO when you have things like integrated suppressor barrels vs longest barrel plus mono supp? Or just to see what the performance is when fully decked out

I was literally about to type something similar. For example, I suspect there is a huge diminishing return on recoil control. If you kit 4 attachments for recoil control/stabilization does the gun spread keep getting tighter or not or say with all ads speed attachments equipped does the gun top out so you're wasting a slot or?
@@bsesq249 the gun has barely any recoil at all. I take the heavy barrel for bullet velocity and a ranger grip for the aiming stability. The added recoil control is genuinely not even needed. Especially if you use the VLK sight which does reduce recoil by 10%.
At distance you just tap fire twice or three times and the 1000rpm and the fact that bursting helps your recoil in general makes it laser people across the map.
Recoil stabilization is great for it but other than that, aiming stability is a much better thing to go for so that the gun simply doesnt drift.

Xclusive i think you forgot about the an-94's version of the skeleton stock when showing class setups. Also the AN-94 is what you want the famas to be in warzone
Probably performs the same as the other skele stocks, 1 frame faster ads & 17%~ ads strafe speed

EchoRogue31 i think the ads stocks sometimes give more than +1 frame ads speed, the m4’s one especially, but im not 100%
Also forgot that the thermal scope on this one isn't like the other guns. It's purple tint with orange heat sigs

The FSS Close Quarters Stock improves your ADS by 21 ms while the VLK PX-9 Pero improves it only by 8 ms +19.0% strafe speed.
If I use a stock attachment at all, it's mostly the CQC stock.
The final thermal sight you unlock is godly for us people that are colorblind.

I feel that this weapon was definitely designed for mid range, looking at the damage profile. It definitely could be used close range, but it’s a safer bet to face smgs at mid range if you aren’t confident to hit those first two-three shots of hyper burst up close. Definitely liking the weapon, but for me the CR-56 is still the best overall weapon in multiplayer.

@@thameekstaninjahman8337 Yep. It can be terrible (especially now with CW & VG weapons) or it can be pretty incredible. But at the extreme ranges I actually like it's steady slow RPM, though it sucks the burst wastes ammo.

Idk why the Sonic brake stands as an attachement, when it's integrated to the real AN-94 and have a role in the hyperburst mecanism
If you look at the Fennec it's even worse, they remove the part wich contain the whole recoil system idk how this gun is suppose to work like that

@@kareemmonzer7894 to sum up if you compare the Fennec to the real Vector the space behind the magazine is larger IRL, because the recoil mecanism is inside this part, just in front of the trigger

The sonic brake is the standard muzzle break that was designed for the an94
And funnily enough, IRL, it is integral to the hyperburst working. Without it, no hyperburst.
@@gonnegottkehaskamp1667 Glad I'm not only player savvy to the marvel of engineering the AN94 actually is. IIRC, it doesn't hyperburst when set to auto right? It also kills me how inaccurate the ROF really is on weapons in MW. The hyberburst is supposed to be 1800 RPM.
@@taintsmacker4008 It does in full auto IRL. I don't think it's as fast as the dedicated burst fire at 1800 rpm, but the first 2 shots do come out much faster than the rest.
And yeah MW lowered the rof a lot. Maybe 1800rpm would've been OP.

@@JF-vz1ju Yeah. 1800 rpm equals 30 rounds a second. Lol. I just love the mechanical bits that make it work. The lifter powered by a pulley connected the recoiling barrel by a metal cable. It's just neat.

What's the point of using aim walking speed stock when you have the skeleton stock
Strafing back and forth while firing. Helped a lot in Black Cops 4. In Modern Warfare though you die so fast there isn't much time to strafe back and forth while in a gunfight...
@@logicalrationalfishing7481 for some guns that strafe so fast like smgs and pistols its really effective especially with your aim assist. But with slower guns like LMGs it doesn't make that much difference. Btw you can get faster strafing with no stock wich is not stated but for some guns it even helps more than the skeleton stock

The scar and the an-94 needs a damage buff exclusive for warzone. It takes so long killing someone with these things.
Agreed. I think the scars first damage range should be 37 instead of 35 which would reduce the number of shots to kill by 1 in warzone and leave it basically the same in multilayer. Oh and a 45 round mag
I think you're just missing shots I can hit upper torso consistently with both and it's viable, definitely slower than bruen and grau tho
@@arctic9082 statistically speaking, the scar has the worst or second worst ttk of all the assault rifles in warzone. Its not a matter of hitting shots, its just straight up not good considering the recoil and small mag size
Both of these weapons in the battle pass seem to bear Multiplayer in mind more than Warzone. It's a good practice to avoid having a weapon like the pre-nerf GRAU, but it's bad in terms of weapon variety for Warzone. The FAL, Bruen, and MP5 meta is still unchanged as far as I see.

Not me. I will likely be using the AN-94 for the long haul. If I go back to anything in the AR category it's likely the Oden and the AUG for SMG's.

I know the fal is the popular gun right now but I can never get used to semi auto assault rifles.
One thing I've noticed you can do with this thing that makes it maybe a little bit broken is that you can tapfire it on auto mode but hold it for a slight bit so that you fire it as a three round burst with no delay, basically turning this thing into a FR 5.56 but, better in just about every way.
That new muzzle attachment Is for the bust function. It tighten the grouping of the hyper burst

I'm assuming the game treats the 3rd shot as the start of a new trigger pull or "burst" so the 3rd shot comes nearly immediately after the second.

Hamr in BO2 was really similar also. That tapping the trigger he’s talking about to take advantage of quick first shots was exclusively how I used it
Could be a connection issue on my end, but it seems like they slowed down the bullet velocity on the 27.6” kar98 barrel

There's also an exclusive thermal sight you can get on the an-94, it's a 3x optic that has blue neutral and pink for hostiles.
The AN-94 is basically the demon love child of the AK-47 and the GRAU 5.56

This gun belongs in battlefield. No call of duty. Battlefield 3 and 4 had issues with this power monster and call of duty new it was a good gun

love your videos, i thought of an interesting test you could do in warzone. figure out the distance that it tells you an enemy player is droping near you. the dialogue that plays when someone does. how close or far they could be.

Hey Xclusive, I wonder if you're interested in making a video regarding Sonic Brake v.s. Comp? People seems to always prefer comp over muzzle brake on other full-auto weapons but I think An94 might make an exception due to its hyper-burst's potential.
Another topic is that since its 3rd round fires as fast as the previous two, does that mean manually go for 3 round burst would theoretically be better than directly switching to burst mode?
If you're just a random guy scrolling through comments, any opinion is also appreciated.

This has a faster TTK than the Famas. The Famas better get a damage buff soon so it can 2 shot kill like the Type 95 and MSBS
The famas should 2 shot kill only if both hit upper torso... and a 3 shot if all hit lower torso
I had a feeling there there was something off about this gun. The long range damage is 18 instead of 20 or 24. Very disappointing along with the bad iron sights.

This gun is as little stroger from m13 but less acurated. This how i feel it without number and calculations. When u expect yr enemy to die at any moment...AN need couple moments more to kill
It's worth noting that the recoil behaviour completely changes when you use the single-fire mode. The pattern is completely straight upwards making it ridiculously easy to control even at long ranges.
I think it’s pretty awesome in WZ if you use it on burst fire only with a max-range setup. Really low recoil, minimal burst delay and crazy range.

The sonic break is really good for making the very first 2 shot burst pin point. It doesn't do anything really for the rest of the mag, but using it burst you literally have 0 recoil those 2 shots. In your recoil plot you can see it on the right hand plot there are 2 holes overlapping side by side no vertical displacement
just levelled the an94 and we had some strange behavior (stuttering and delay befor first shot). when shooting at a wall to re-check this never occurred, only if aiming at enemies. first we thought its just a visible bug, but when stuttering (not firing) also hitmarkers where not visible. so i was kind of disappointed from this gun and prob not gonna use it in warzone.

@Eli Nelson ace is definitely the most thorough but thats beside the point, you can be thorough and wrong. Not saying he is, it's not like I have the time to check these stats myself.
I'd say Ace is the most trustworthy since he dives full force into the stats. Driftor's reviews involve opinions which I sometimes don't entirely agree with. A gun can feel awful to him while it performs decent in other peoples' eyes. Meanwhile I'm pretty sure Jgod is a pubstomper rather than a weapon stats kind of guy. I'd trust his reviews the least compared to someone dedicated like Ace or Driftor.

Codgundata is the most thorough. Drift0r and JGOD are full of shit. Ace tests at 60 fps but he is the best out of the previous 2.

This gun is a tack driver. Basically, if you're accurate, you're rewarded immensely. If you're not, you're punished pretty dramatically. I still think the Galil is more consistent, but I LOVE this gun. Had a lot of fun unlocking gold/platinum.

Can someone cover the shadow ban topic? This is a huge issue on PC. It's even affecting a CZcamsr called

I'll explain for those who don't know. A shadow ban is where you can still play the game, but most or all of your games are made up of mostly cheaters. It is unknown what causes this to happen, but it's putting non cheaters in mostly cheater lobbies because they triggered an unknown action.
There is no coming back from this. If you've been shadow banned once, you're likely to be shadow banned again and again, because you keep triggering the same action with how you play.
Even if you don't play or main pc, I hope people spread this around to other youtubers to get it noticed/talked about.

I would guess that it has something to do with how many times you are reported(even falsely) that triggers this "ban", I believe most streamers expierence something like this, as most of their lobbies have cheaters

To keep a constant variable, if u compare all guns damaged values for upper torso then u can do accurate comparisons. No point do limbs or lower torso as its just more values and work and makes it more confusing
Dysmo made a really good point in one of his vids that the guns they added this season are very balanced, they won't be the new meta, but they're not hot garbage, and if they keep adding more balanced weapons from now on and keep up with the weapon patching, I think COD will get even more fun

Your testing disagrees with Driftors - he found the Sila provides the biggest range boost. Did you notice this at all?
On truegamedata.com the Silva only improves range by 19% and then bullet velocity by 16% while the 438mm barrel improves range by 34% and bullet velocity by 51%
Usually the barrel which helps with recoil control is usually the longest barrel
Drift0r's range numbers seem to be WAY off

If you use the 2 round burst your ttk in warzone is simular to the more competitive rifles

I heard something about this game being banned in Russia. Idk if it’s true but it received some backlash for the campaign & just might as well use the real names cause they’re not gonna copyright you.
Its simply copyright. The copyright for the AK ran out, so the name can be used, Glock seems to hate video games and only VERY RARELY hands out licenses and the AN-94 can probably be named like this because it's designer died a few years ago and he probably held the rights.
I have been using the AN-94 in warzone and i have to say its performing better than i thought it would especially in prolonged firefights where the enemys armour has broken, those first 3 shots are just downing instantly, i know the stats dont reflect it but i think its a big of a dark horse

There's another unique attachment, it's a thermal sight with zoom and no glare. Could be useful in warzone for those who like scouting with thermal
no thermals have glare, but the sight is really nice, blue and purple instead of black and white or green and yellow

Fun fact on the AN-94: The hyperburst was designed to have no recoil in between shots. The first two shots fire off so fast, the recoil doesn’t kick in till after the shots are fired, making it so it effectively has both of the rounds hit in the same place.

I feel the sonic break is there as it states in the description for the hyper burst so the recoil after those first 2 shots isn’t as high
I consider the AN-94 to be an upper tier AR cuz it has so much potential where you can get a solid TTK if all those bullets hit the upper torso.
From what I’ve seen (I currently can’t play S5) the AN-94 seems like one of the new best ARs.

I swear the damage for this gun is the stupidest I've ever seen, I shoot somebody and it takes literally 7+ shots at long range like the damage is dumb, like under powered. Im hitting upper torso, these people instantly turn around and laser beaming me with their weapons which is stupid.
After 30 meters the damage falls drastically.
Always ask myself every time i see these videos. I wonder when we'll ever see footage of the class setups that are recommended lol

I use the legendary variant of the AN-94 and is OP in short and medium ranges.
From what I've seen its good in warzone.
The ttk is worse than the kilo, m4, bruen and FAL at literally all ranges just watch JGODs video

this gun is really accurate good for close and far range its my go to for big maps beside my carbine set up
This gun is the most fun for me because I feel either reward for my accuracy, or punished by missing. It's not an easy gun to use, but that's why I love it. It looks dope with obsidian too. But not on the commodore variant because the barrel and the front of the body looks like clay with obsidian.
The 330mm short barrel actually made the grouping of the first 3-4 shots much tighter! What about the VLK barrel? @TheXclusiveAce forgot to test the recoil on that one 🤗 Oh well, easy enough to test on my own, as always thanks for all the great info!

If you count the first 2 shoots as one it deals more damage than the SKS and EBR-14 but without the one shot headshot potencial and less range. But with faster fire rate, more ammo and better mobility
The burst was the only way I used the AN-94 on BO2. You could outshoot FAL’s and hang with the SMR.
Can't wait to unlock this.
