Tool of destruction. You can spam those shots so fast and noobs/casuals wont touch it b/c it requires skill and finesse. Effective range and follow up shots are so clean Proctor & Gamble legit thought about replacing Mr.Clean with the FAL

I mostly play hardcore, and this is BY FAR my favorite gun. I run the no stock / osw para / stippled grip / sleight of hand. The 1 Shot kill plus the speed from those attachments makes this thing a force to be reckoned with.

Yeah I do think that the one shot headshot was kinda overkill
I freaking love this gun due to the fact that it's very challenging yet rewarded when it's done right the forces me to slow down and actually think rather than just running and gunning

Agreed. I'm not really that good at COD especially at running and gunning so definitely get what you're saying, getting way more kills since I switched to this gun.

It’s way more fun to play in a realistic and challenging way. Checking corners, holding lines of sight, and moving slowly.
It’s a way more technical play style
love using the fal close range, super underrated
Stock delete, ultra light barrel and mobility grip makes this thing beastly
To be fair it’s bad when people could laser you from a distance and most closer range maps are filled with 725 or R9 and the origin also a struggle to level up as a noob when I first got on it was extremely bad

I remember playing this gun for 2 days in a row just to unlock burst attachment...when I did its fire rate got nerfed real hard(even burst firerate) next day :(

Did they stealth nerf this gun? It feels like I'm getting a lot more 3 shot kills than I used to, and stopping power no longer can 1 hit kill either
I think so. Which makes absolutely no sense since no one ever uses FAL.

It wasn't stealth Nerf, but they did screw over Stopping Power...gave it more recoil

Eric Dai pretty sure getting flashed or stunned deals one damage so you could chuck a flash or stun and then run in and get an easier two shot or go for the funny tactical equipment kill if you shoot them and then they run towards cover

@@HiJack3r But its ADS speed is terrible and without the recoil control increasing attachments, the recoil is just uncontrollable for longer ranges. If someone ADS sooner than you, you're already dead.
@@HiJack3r Yeah, I do have MP, but I mainly base my opinions around Warzone as that's basically where guns usually show their disadvantages aswell. For sure, in Warzone, it's actually a great gun, just not without recoil control (unless you do CQC, but even then, your ADS speed will always be slower than most rifles).
@@HiJack3r With the right recoil and aiming stability attachments (I said aiming stability, because there's actually a big aiming sway that must be dealt with first or else your recoil pattern will be different everytime), it has a pretty decent kick that you can easily control. Its DPS though really depends on just how much you can aim at enemies. It can basically down an enemy in like 4 upper torso shots, because it both tears through the armor and the enemy's health. It's especially good for mid-range fights where you can pre-aim and shoot with less worry. Even in close-range, it's great, but only if pre-aiming is not a problem, because the big headshot damage also downs people satisfyingly fast.
I absolutely love this gun. It's my go to for just about any map. I run a hybrid optic on it and don't use the burst. The delay when using burst absolutely kills me but that's just me. Some people shred with the burst.

I’ve been wondering about Stopping Power, and what it actually does for the different weapon classes? Why does it enable one-shot kills on certain weapons but seems to have no effect on others? It would be awesome if you covered that in a future video. Thanks again for these videos, keep up the good work! :)
You should’ve covered burst
The time between bursts is slower than the FAMAS so its less forgiving, but I find with the right attachments to mitigate the recoil its actually more consistent for single bursting opponents. I use the XRK Marksman barrel, Operator Foregrip, Tac Laser, VLK 3.0 optic and burst fire perk. It seems to work really well, with the laser offsetting the ADS penalties from the recoil attachments.
@@omnipotentpenguin it just suffers when it comes to range + moving Target. That's the worst combo against the burst. It's like the m4 with burst and socom rounds but double the ammo.

I enjoy this gun in HC on those longer maps as you can still get people close but also 1 shot the pesky snipers and wall bang people super quick
Great content as always! Imo the FAL is pretty perfectly balanced as is. It’s a higher skill weapon and rewards players who can master it with a great TTK. Simple as that.
I love the FAL in Hardcore after the old patch. If im using it in core modes, i put burst fire on, it feels goooood. 2-3 shot burst kill. feels like the old M16
I enjoyed this gun when I started it recently. But by then end of the camos I wasn't sure if it was a bad rifle or bad Marksman.
I absolutelylove this gun.. It's my new sniper as it is lethal, quiet with a silencer and one shot kills for days in HC modes.. I out shoot other snipers with this set up properly with a good scope. Loved it in earlier games, and it's still a great addition for fast kills.
I have about 2,000 kills with this gun and it’s gold and throughout that process I feel like it’s had a stealth nerf or something with the hit detection
Got this gun in gold before it's recoil adjustment.
Used it as a burst fire gun in core.
Used it as a sniper in HC.
So many attachment choices, just to chose one good one and use the rest to counter all the negatives of that attachment awesome

Hard core. All the attachment for ads time. My first nuke and my love.
the fal, due to it lower fire rate and high recoil making it more difficult to apply a fine coating of lead on the battlefield, suffers from poor netcode more than other guns. since its ttk is very fast its even more apparent when someone is eating rounds / the server is cheating you / helping them.
I love that gun as for me I think it’s very accurate and I’m not the greatest person playing but I’m very accurate with that gun
my class set ups are just about the same awesome good to know I'm learning.. helpful tip RPG for them camper dampers .. it works..

The attachment that made this gun OP in my hands was the Burst perk. It is absolutely insane with the correct Burst setup.
I love this in Hardcore game modes. One shot kills.
13" Para barrel, Sleight of Hand, Stippled Grip Tape are on my base to boost aim down sights and speed up reloads.
For bigger maps (Aniyah Palace, Superstore etc) i add Monolithic Suppressor and Merc Foregrip to stay off radar and recoil control for the mid to long distance shots.
For smaller maps (Rust, Shoot house etc) i add Tac Laser and CQB stock to boost aim down sights time.
And my secondary is the 1911 pistol.

Firing with an unsilenced weapon doesn't make you show up on the radar, only the compass.
It does make you visible on the map with uav, even with ghost on
When I use the FAL, I have it made with the OSW Para barrel, a G.I Mini reflex sight, 18" Aluminum stock, a flash guard and the Sleight of Hand perk.
They should add the g3 next

If they bring the G3 back and it's the same as it was in Cod4 RIP to my enemies. I like the FAL though not sure the G3 would be better sadly because they'd almost assuredly make it a 4 shot kill.

Me too, but do you ever have issues with the FAL jamming after a shot or two? I play on ps4 and that shit gets me killed sometimes

Personally I feel it needs to have just pure vertical recoil. I tend to go for Max accuracy with my guns and even with plenty of accuracy attachments it kicks a bit too much for farther away targets who even move a little bit. Compound that with hit detection issues it makes it a pain.

I typically play hardcore, and the setup i like on this is a lightweight barrel, Ranger grip, Stippled grip, burst perk, and thermal hybrid optic
i use the first set up with a compesator instead of the bigger mag but i usally take scavenger since you have almost no ammo and most of the players use the m4 / mp5 so u cant pick up anything either

When I pick up a green or white FAL in warzone, I pair it with my load out with a FAL with VLK 3 sight light suppressor XRK barrel Merc forgrip and stippled. Basically negligible recoil for my long range gun and my ground loot one is good for close range fights or if I don’t take the time to reload and an enemy is hurt badly
Also something I'd like to mention with the recoil pattern: that's assuming you have a trigger finger that's that fast. if you don't, the center speed will most likely get you right back on target which is why the FAL doesn't have as much recoil as it appears to have in The Recoil pattern unless ofcourse your trigger finger is THAT fast. The center speed should get u back in target and the recoil shouldnt feel that drastic.
I decided to get the attachments for it on double weapon xp and fell in love with the FAL. I smoke guys before they get a shot off. I play hardcore and it’s a one shot kill. Plus using it makes your aim better and when you switch back to a assault rifle you’ll have a lot better head and torso accuracy.

callum I’ve been running the fr 5.56 as well. Really been doing well with it. I’m a rusher so that’s the closest I get to a sniper rifle. This COD is trailer made for the campers. I wish I could play shipment and the warehouse 24/7. I try to stick to domination hoping to have more ppl running around but lately seems every person on the team is carrying a sniper rifle and posting up. I’m usually the only guy running around capturing and whatnot. It’s so irritating. In domination if you sit in one spot for over 60seconds you should automatically die. Or make a mode for rushers and ppl that want to play others that move around.

kevo300 leveling it up as we speak. Also I’ve been trying the kilo and have been doing pretty well with it. It’s a laser beam. And With fmjs kills fast.

So far my favorite setup for this gun is, the ultra light barrel, VLK optic, No stock, MERC fire grip, and stippled tape. I personally feel recoil isn’t such a big deal since you can just space your shots for med/long range to maintain accuracy. At close range you can spray just fine and hit your target. :D
This has been my main gun since launch, and it was awful to begin with, but I stuck with it and it's my favorite gun. I use it for long range, counter-sniping in Ground War. I run a 3x optic, the marksman barrel, the ranger foregrip, the tac-suppressor (just cause it looks better than the mono,, and at the ranges I'm at, three shots is always the standard), and sleight of hand. I love this thing, it's so satisfying to use.
I play ground war and use a lot of different guns but if when I go try hard I usually end up loading in w a FAL in my hands

this is my go to gun in warzone... Chuck a sniper scope and a few attachments on it and you can take out snipers really quickly... I dont know what attachments I use exactly but there is no recoil or sway at all and you can shoot really quickly with it
I fully upgraded this gun before anything else and before the accuracy buff. I just really wanted to use a solid semi auto that wasn’t a bulky sniper. Now I’m in love with this rifle!
I've always loved this gun in all other CODs, I just can't get to grips with it in this game though :/

Y'all should try my FAL setup. Been destroying with it. Ranger foregrip, stippled, gi reflex, no stock, sleight of hand. Plays well for being aggressive.

When the game first came out on pc for like 3 weeks my FAL double fired almost all the time. Got called a hacker plenty of times I even changed mice to see if my mouse was broken but it still did it lol.

I like the SOH perk personally so that'd be something I use, but Im looking for the best ADS time with this gun. Now that being said, what is the best combo to do with a 30 round mag and SOH? That leaves 3 spots to combat loss of ADS
This gun is so underrated. It performs like the G3 used to back in the day for MW.
When I first got this game, I saw practically no one using the FAL. I was the odd person in HC shredding through people pre-patch. Now I've seen almost an entire team using the FAL. It's pretty common. People even use it as a sniper, which I guess it fulfills that for me as well. I used to use a red dot, but I found on maps like Piccadilly, I needed better vision, so now I use a hybrid acog/red dot and can see very well. For some reason I just found the M4 really weak, even in HC, though pretty much everyone used it in HC as well as core. Nowadays, HC has really good gun variety. I guess people realized any gun is viable in HC or the other guns are actually just as good in the right hands.

If you’re using the marksman barrel, I would use a variable zoom scope as the optic since you’re turning it into a dmr.
This gun excels a lot with a few key attachments. I'm currently working on getting gold on this gun and after the no attachments skins, I can finally use this gun to it's full potential. The default iron sight is quite bad imo, so you definitely need a scope unless you're playing an aggressive playstyle and can get away with it.

On pc you can bind the fire button to the mouse wheel, forwards and back. Shoots at max fire rate cap

I bought this Controller add on to make it so I could jump and aim at the same time and have an easier sprint button. I’ve tried to stay away from the extra programs on it but the Full Auto function makes the FAL straight Cheeze Wiz my guy.
Would be helpful if you show us the impact of various attachments on recoil besides the barrels. Muzzle brake, compensator, bipod (crouch and prone), etc.
This is one of my favorite semi auto ar's ever. For some reason, with my playstyle, it just works.

When I was leveling this one I had the no stock, laser, same barrel, a foregrip and the NVG optic and it was soooo lame to run this... but I was leveling all my ARs...
