I didn’t do anything special. I simply put on my headset and I’m pretty sure my friend had his own on as well and we were just speaking to each other. Neither one of us created any special chat rooms or anything. I am unsure as to why this would not work for you. I have done the party chat thing but that requires you setting it up and I never do that when I speak with my friends.
