- Originally introduced in 1996 as the 550 Maranello, replaced in 2002 by the 575M, and finally in 2005 by the 575 Superamerica, the 550, 575M and 575 SA served well as the flagships of the Ferrari line, taking Ferrari’s styling back to the glory days of the long-nose, short-tail, front-engined Lusso, 275 and 365 GTB/4 Daytona coupes. An indisputably elegant design with both soft and sexy, yet masculine and muscular styling by Pininfarina, we believe the 550s', 575s' and the ultimate example, the 575 Superamerica, are unquestionably the best-buys in a user-friendly, modern V-12 Ferrari. Thanks to speed-sensitive power steering, they are surprisingly light and easy to drive in traffic at low speeds or utterly relaxed in top gear at America’s highway speeds. The cockpit is luxurious, roomy and comfortable for drivers of any size with climate control that works well. The 575 SA featured an increase in power to 532 hp, offering simply staggering performance with a 0-60 time of 4.2 seconds and a you-will-never-go-that-fast top speed of 203 mph, making the 575 the first front-engined Ferrari to break the magic 200 mph mark!

Colleen rocks, and so does the 575 :) !
You are easy to listen to and do a fantastic job with these videos.
Damn I love old school Ferrari’s, they are so exotic and special, but having you present them is sick as hell, I don’t know if to look at the car or you, your so knowledgeable and pretty as hell..
Another great video Colleen. Keeping those classic Ferrari's alive!
Excellent video and a very detailed explanation of the history of the model and its meaning. Greetings from Spain
Great Ferrari....and great colour! I noticed a lovely Aston DBS in the back ground...do a feature on that beauty!
great supercar,and great review!
Awesome video. I love your passion for Ferraris. I am also a huge fan, but you have me beat on knowledge! I am powering through all of your videos!
Excellent!!!
It suits you perfectly, buy it for your daily driver.
The impact when you step out of it in front of guys is worth it ;)
..looks great in that color.
Very beautiful you and the car
You can always count on everything being 100% accurate here. Everything is well researched.
Great review 👏 Lovely presenting as usual. This is a great car and only going up in value 🚗👍
Not with the automatic, so let's say it will not go down in value ;)
gold top motors
Trying to learn more about the 60’s Enzo era Ferraris, but I like this car. How great to take on a journey! That the top dumps water into the passenger/driver area after a rain (if left down) , would only happen to me once.!
first ferrari I ever sat in was this beauty parked at the dealer in la jolla california
Colleen , One of One ...
Awesome video, my wife loves your nike sneakers colleen
and the Midas touch
Looks cool in that colour!
Is that a Lotus Europa in your garage, and are you going to review it?! 👍
I've always been a bit odd but I've always liked the 400i.
Same. Would love to see a review of the 400.
Amore è una superamerica come te ❤🎉🥳🥳🥳🥳
Thank you for another great presentation and explanation of the roof mechanism (though, you unfortunately did not demonstrate it)… propably, the simplest roof-opening mechanism at all!
575 x 10 = 5750 cc, right?
BTW. Is that a Monteverdi rear right?
Looks a lot like a Monteverdi, but it’s likely an Aston based on the side vents. Both beautiful and interesting cars.
If they ever do a remake of Gone in 60 seconds movie they should cast you as Sway
- these days it's not a problem to equip roof mechanism with automatic rainsensor that will initiate roof self-closing as soon as a few raindrops hit windscreen of a parked car
- I wonder how many of these were produced with manual gbox but as heard somewhere about two dozens from whole limited serie
- conversion to manual gear box from this automated costs about £60k
What year is it?
Outside of the standard 550 coupe which I think is the best looking Ferrari. I like this one, it could benefit from a 550 front bumper and light conversion as well as a manual gearbox. I love this top for its simplicity and practicality, except for its ability to become an Olympic sized birdbath and water loaded trebuchet.
Are there any manual gearbox 575 Superamerica?
❤
since you did not demo it, I assume the roof is broken. have you had an estimate for repair?
👍
Curious I do not know if you know the answer but how come Ferrari never did use that type of top on other models did they have problems with that and that's why they only used that style of top and glaceon the 575 SuperAmerica. Please reply love to know 😊
👍😎👍
Oh remind me again who it was that had a problem on video using this “simple to operate” top?
Gated manual is always better!!
What's the Aston doing over there?
Can you do a video on the lamborghini urus, Or Ferrari purosangue?
