The 550 Barchetta and 575 Superamerica are modern classic Ferrari GTs featuring front-engine v12, no roof, gated manual shifters, and, in this case, Ferrari's traditional rosso corsa exterior finish. These limited production vehicles are the pinnacle of Ferrari's modern classic lineup. With the 550 Barchetta being the first front-engine v12 GT since the Ferrari Daytona, it has done a great job living up to that glory. While the 575 Superamerica is the descendant of the 550 Barchetta, we have no doubt that the 550 takes the win amongst these two. Regardless, it was an incredible opportunity to have both of these rare Ferraris at The Barn Miami.

If that superamerica was ever in Woodbridge Ontario Canada in its lifetime then I detailed it while the owner was playing golf at the National Golf Course PineValley. I’ve never been able to spot one ever since. It’s a unicorn car for me.

The hoops are too high on the 550 in relationto the windscreen. The Suoeramerica is a more cohesiveness and useful design.
575 is obviously an advancement over tge 550 dynamically. And being gated manual 575 its a unicorn collection wise.

I know Ferrari aficionados will be married to any model being the classic bright red. However, I know both these models came in a light, steel blue color which sets off the bodywork and expresses how unique these cars are. The bright red, can be a little hard on the eyes and obnoxious for me. The blue color is fairly rare and brings out the coolness and underrated status of these cars.

I also love the 550 in black but the blue is special

Personally don't like hard tops on convertibles, and the 550 is better looking, also who wants an F1 transmission compared to a manual the f1 transmission wasn't very good.

It's an easy 550 Barchetta for me. The 575 may have better mechanicals than the 550, but I never like 575 styling, especially the Superamerica for me.
