One thing to point out to Lindsay is that this Itachi is Edo Itachi - he's no longer sick or weakened by disease. This is him in peak form + Edo chakra. He's absolutely having no issues with KCM Naruto and Bee's speed. They showed the Bee sword fight because it shows that when Bee fought Sasuke only recently he wrecked Sasuke instantly with his blade dance attack. Itachi effortlessly dodges it - once again showing that Peak Itachi would have stomped Sasuke and adding validity to Zetsu and Madara saying to Sasuke that Itachi if he wanted to beat Sasuke could have done it effortlessly, and why Zetsu was so confused by Itachi's movements in their fight.
Lindsay is now getting to see Peak Itachi fighting. No more handicaps - he's bonkers for a "no sage mode, no tailed beast" amp. His natural abilities and intellect were only rivaled by the 4th Hokage and arguably Kakashi.

Shisui's eye has my favourite Mangekyo pattern. I like it because it's not too overstylized (like some others), but at the same time not as "simple" as Itachis's for example.

I feel like nagato is among the top 20 or maybe top 15 strongest character in the whole series. This guy IS so powerful Man. The Pain Arc is easily top 3 in Anime History. The Best in the show It goes without saying. Pain is an Epic character too, One of Best Villains Ever honestly

I donât think it recharged every 10 years for shishui. It was his so probably shorter cool down. Anyone else, unless you have hashirama cells, 10 years. No idea how anyone knows that for sure unless they tested it LOL. Also it wasnât activated when itachis eyes were nearby, I think it was activated when itachis eyes were used against naruto specifically. (Itachi knew naruto would be the one against sasuke to protect the village if he turned against it)

Every kage has heard of it and AO has seen it in battle. If it had a 10 year cool down you think he is using it on AO in a random battle? A 10 year cool down literally doesnât fit in the timeline nor does it make sense based of what we have heard. Itâs either a plot hole or he can use it more often than 10 years. Shisui wouldâve had to use it when he was only 6. Any later wouldnât make sense since he had it available before he died.

Nagato is the character that the show did the most injustice to .To the point that people forget how good he is at using the rinnegan compared to the other characters that got it in the show, the best one of them only knows how to absorb ninjutsu. and when we almost could've seen his full power he got hit by plot armor.

24:11 I think Shisui had more control of the eye as it was his eye. Later on it is explained that if someone is using their own eye then they harness it's full power. So Shisui didn't need to wait for so long for the eye reactivate.
shisui is older than itachi, he is around kakashi's age. and people have a theory that as we know each eye have a different ability, (sasuke's flame control in one and amaterasu in the other) for shisui he have the kotoamatsukami (i think that's how you spell it) in both eyes. the one that danzo have break's when the person realize that he is under it's effect (as we saw whit mifune) and it recharge faster probably because of its weaker effect and hashirama's cells in danzo. the other eye that itachi have takes ten years to recharge but it's stronger even kabuto wasn't capable of undoing it. this is just a THEORY. ^_^
shisui's sharingan ability wasn't revealed. if you watch the ep closely, itachi said shisui "discovered" it himself so it means he created it. a new jutsu but with sharingan...i think so...

I mean not really. It's stated in the show that the true powers are only available to the original user and if they have both eyes. For example, Nagato wasn't able to use limbo since it wasn't his original eyes and kakashi can't use both versions of kamui since he only has one eye. So Shisui would be the only one to use his visual prowess to it's full extent since it's his original eyes and had both eyes.

How would Shisui know that his ability of the Sharingan took 10 years to recharge?
It doesn't make any sense because he would have been a child to unlock it at first use the ability, try to use the ability, fail and then 10 years later succeed. So from that, you can apply deductive reasoning and come to the conclusion that Kishi fucked up.
To me, this is the most valid and simple reason since there is no explanation in the manga or the anime so far or in future episodes.
What I have noticed is that people often use headcanon to try to explain away the mistakes that Kishi had made. To me Naruto doesn't have to be perfect, it's not the best anime that exists but it is my favourite anime. I recognise its flaws and still appreciate the amazing aspects of the show.

Wait what the fuck, I never realized the reason Itachi left a crow with an ability like that on Naruto, was so that it could later be used on Sasuke. I always thought it was extremely cheesy that Itachi prepared a jutsu with the exact ability he needed to get himself out of a reanimation jutsu. What I didnt realize was the crows ability was simply to activate a genjutsu to protect Konoha, in case Sasuke ever came to attack it. It was just a coincidence that the crows ability happened to also be able to get him out of this situation.
Its consistent with Itachi's character as well, since when faced with the choice to either use the crow to stop Sasuke from destroying Konoha, or to potentially be able to stop Ninja World War, he obviously chose the latter, just like he chose to eradicate the Uchihas instead of risking the Leaf and potentially another World War. A moment that seemed like an asspull has just become that much better and meaningful out of nowhere so goddamn, thanks Lindsay!
I literally watched Shippuden weekly as it aired and for some reason this part of the story flew right over my head. So yeah, really good catch for a first viewing! This is actually done in a surprisingly subtle way for Naruto, its never really drawn too much attention to.

The 10yrs doesn't apply to shisui its his eyes the seem way a Uchiha doesn't have the same level of stamina drain as Kakashi. The Hashi cells would speed up the recovery. Look back at danzou fight with sasuke he could only use it twice in one day do to hashi cells but he dies before he could use it a second time.

if anyone is curious why did 9 tails chakra naruto got kinda destroyed by nagato well remember then 1 when naruto defeated pain he was fresh and powerfull hen pain had just fought the whole village and 2 pain is a subdevision of the power of nagato it does put forward quantity of quality lets say 3 when we saw pain in shippuden not only it was a subdevision of the power of nagato but of a weak and dying sick nagato and last 4 not only with edo tensei he has infite chakra but he also *healed himself* lets say by absorbing the chakra of bee

I think it works like how Kakashi gets worn down fast by the Sharingan, Uchiha have less constraints since it's their own Kekkei Genkai but it can still vary between normal people, like I'd imagine Lee with a Sharingan would probably last longer than Kakashi and so on, so Shisui might only be able to use it in 5 years or less, that or he could he use it whenever but other people can't? idk it's a plot device so I don't have much explanation for it, Itachi goated tho

The Dialogue can be a tiny bit unnatural sometimes, but thats more of a translation/delivery issue. It goes both ways tho, sometimes the English version even does it better, which also depends on who subbed it. I've seen different subs for Naruto and some are really bad (e.g. translated really literal, with no regard to 'natural' conversation or vocabulary)

That's what I did when I first watch naruto I watch the dub but they took so long to come out, so I switch to sub like what carlson did, it was annoying when the dubbed version took so long for it to come out! You be like waiting 6 months or more and they realise like 10 episode at a time.
Yeah watching Naruto in dub as an English speaker should be a must. Naruto and DBZ are the only 2 animes that are top tier with the English voice acting, well at least for me are the only once Iâve ever liked that way.

If you want a slightly lesser known one, definitely check out Baccano. Possibly the best dub Iâve seen. And itâs only 11 eps long. Has bender from futurama playing a psycho.
Also Fate/Zero is an excellent dub as well. Has Matt Mercer (Levi from aot) as the main character, Liam Obrien gives a great performance as well. The characters all feel great in English, on top of being done by the same team that did Demon Slayer the animation is spectacular!
i didn't read the manga, and suishui never seemed to use it, and lets just be real it needed limits and perhaps were magically known by the user who never used it, but it was already introduced as a plot point, so....... it's even more broken than some other uchiha stuff that also makes no sense, but ya just gotta deal with it for the story, but as to the teleporter/genjutsu thing? overhype, i don't think he was faster than flying raijin, and i dont think his genjutsu was stronger than Tsukuyomi which hadent even been discovered yet since itachi didnt get those untill his death
Thank you for switching back to the dub, it's just way too late for that. The performance differences are there later on, but they aren't THAT bad later on. Plus when it's a reaction it's a lot as a viewer to read the subtitles and watch the clips AND watch your facial reactions. I think even if sub is better when it's a reaction people react to dub because it simplifies the viewing experience so much
How people can be so crybaby? Japanese is better and if you are so useless that you cant keep with the subtitles while watching then is your problem... And for seeing the faces of them? Come on, they stand with the same face until somenthing interesting happens or you just listen to the reactors, you can always go back on the video to see different things again. But well lazy dumb people want everything so easy even when they are probably just watching their content for free as everyone else who not pay their patreon... nagato is such a good character
In Boruto they talk about the war that happened 10 years ago but it actually happened more like 13 years ago. So probably Japan has a world for around 10 years that they use and itâs mistranslated to English. I wouldnât trust in these 10 years delay, but something close to 8 years
Itachi says 10 years during an offhanded comment to Naruto, but there is really no way for him or anyone else to know that, and it doesnât really make sense because Shisui awakened his MS when Itachi was 4, making Shisui 7-8 years old at the time, but Shisui died when he was 16.
This would mean that Shisui used the ability as soon as he awakened it, and never used it again, in which case how would he know that the cool-down time period was 10 years? Why not 15 years? Or 20?
And can we really say that a 7-8 year old Shisui has already maximized the power of his Dojutsu and cannot improve the cool-down time later on? regardless still cool AF and Itachi and Shisui are badasses in their own right. :))
It's stated in the show that the true powers are only available to the original user and if they have both eyes. For example, Nagato wasn't able to use limbo since it wasn't his original eyes and kakashi can't use both versions of kamui since he only has one eye. So Shisui would be the only one to use his visual prowess to it's full extent since it's his original eyes so he will be able to use it more often and a stronger version of it. But to the actual number of times he can actually use it per day is unknown since it's never stated. Another theory is that he can probably use it as much as he wants until his chakra depletes, just like any other uchiha when they use too much chakra their sharingun deactivates
