Just a reminder: Koto Amatsukami was used by Danzo in the 5 kage summit against Mifune to control him to name himself as the supreme comander of the allied forces, and Mifune didn't even notice about it. Thats how powerful it is. Its the absolute "Simon says" xD
PS. DUDE these 2 episodes are by far THE BEST display of Rinnegan's true prowess. Those eyes at full power are fucking insane
Nagato literally solo'd Naruto and Killer B. If Itachi didnt save them, that was it. Show's over, Kabuto captured the 8 and 9 tails. Thats terrifying and im always bothered how people just gloss over this 😂😂

Itachi may be a genius but just this once he got insanely lucky the trap he laid for Sasuke could overwrite the reanimation orders. Guess no matter how smart you are you still need luck on your side

@@JoaoSilva-wr5zh very true! Specially in the bigger story in which there was a lot of manipulation and disregard for people's own ideals. This way Itachi regains his own objective of protecting the Leaf and Sasuke keeps his freedom of choice

This is not a Spoiler, just trying to clarify stuff. Itachi woke his mangekyou sharingan when he saw Shishui die. Sasuke woke his mangekyou sharingan when he found out the truth about Itachi. Then Itachi's mangekyou sharingan eyes was transplanted into Sasuke, making him the second person ever to get the Eternal mangekyou sharingan. The first was Madara.
is he the second person? because madara said that after he got his eternal ms, the rest of the uchiha's were killing each other left and right to get eternal ms before they realised that it is only possible between brothers. so for them to come to that conclusion there has to be others who did unlock eternal ms
I love Itiachi and had a feeling he was more than the master he was made out to be. I was so happy to see this ep when it was new.

Don’t forget that Itachi literally physically and mentally abused Sasuke when he was 7 and again when he was 13. He put Sasuke on this path and expected Sasuke to just be fine after everything.
You gain mangekyou sharingan through intense pain, you gain an enternal mangekyou sharingan by taking another uchiha’s eyes. The regular mangekyou sharingan if over used you can go blind as shown in sasuke’s fight with danzo, having an eternal one means you cant go blind if you overuse it
Why taking another ? Why don't make harmless exchange. ? Everybody (Uchiha) will happy. No need to steal
Side note: To get Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, both parties must be closely related (ie. Siblings, Parents etc) and must both already possess regular Mangekyou Sharingan

Naruto aand itachis combo is really nice ❤❤🔥🔥 what’s common about them is their love towards Sasuke and Village. Itachi cared for the village and killed his family along with all his clan except his brother to protect the village from a disaster. Naruto is also trying to protect his village and trying to stop Sasuke without killing him.

I think Itachi came up with the crow plan back when he fought him during the Gaara retrieval arc. When he gave him that smirk when he defeats him.
I don't think that Itachi planned for the reanimation counter...that was just a lucky break that the kotoamatsukami happened to be able to break him out of its control. The order that was implanted into the sharingan was to protect the leaf village, so I would imagine that encompassed a wide array of possible outcomes. For this scenario, Itachi being reanimated and under control by Kabuto was probably the trigger that let the kotoamatsukami know that it threatened the Leaf Village and so the order basically negated Kabuto's control and Itachi is free (but still bound to the reanimation).
The reverse crow-job is always funny to see. lol.

Naruto and Bee really were the only one who stood a chance against Nagato and Itachi. If Nagato would have been reived with his legs still intact that would have been catastrophic.
Also Itachi is so freaking amazing. He even had such a contingency plan for Naruto and Sasuke even when he was dead. Also while beign free from the Control of Kabuto he is still an Reanimation but now he has unlimited Chakra and cant be harmed unless its a sealing jutsu.
It also baffels me that after all these times and what people know of itachi that people still underestimate him. :D
The almithy push can push the burning parts of Nagatos body away from him and becuase he is an Reanimation his body can restore itself after that. Its just like the Raikage cutting of his burning arm but in that case the arm couldnt regnerate of course ;).
Itachi's Kotoamatsukami plan being used this way was complete genius by Kishimoto

17:00 Ya can't f*#k with that fire Mickey. But Nagato uses Rinnegan abilities and Rinnegan is supposed to be stronger than Sharingan. And you can look at it this way. Since, they are reanimated the portion of the skin on which the Amaterasu is burning will be flaking of the body while coz of the reanimation the body would keep regenerating. Now, Nagato just used his Almighty push to push all those burnt skin away from him along with the Amaterasu flames. And as soon the flames completely burn those skin flakes it'll extinguish as that's what happens. Amaterasu can only stops after it destroys the thing it's cast on. But if you can shave of that part which is affected by Amaterasu then you can counter it without taking damage from it.
I feel like the flames itself can be pushed away, which is what the Almighty Push did. It's just that the fire continues to burn the person and can't be extinguished. In regular people, of course they can't stop the fire or snuff it out, so it'll just burn. But there's ways to just counter it. I'm wondering if the kamui could just teleport it off someone, can't remember if that's the case.

2 things in this ep is super important and many would sleep on them .
1 , in shinto , kotoamatsukami , is the collective name for the first gods which came into existence at the time of the creation of the universe . Controlling mind and soul . Which technically , is this genjutsu's ability .
2 , itachi has a line as " you need hashirama cells to activate shisui's eye more often " . Why ?

It's that when a senju chakra and an uchiha's eye or chakra gets mixed up , we get hagoromo's chakra . Ofc , it's not enough to replicate his chakra to a point of awakening the rinnagan ( like in madara's case ) but it enhances one's visual prowess nonetheless . In danzo's case , he could use kotoamatsukami every 3 days for example 💯👍
