      This is a very cliché opinion. Dutch is way different from English too. It may seem that they're similar, but actually, we're talking just about a few common words and a few common roots, but nothing remarquable. French and Dutch have some similarities too for exemple. So Dutch does not only have a relationship with German and English. In conclusion, when it comes to grammar, pronunciation, and more advanced/specific vocabulary, oh boy. Dutch is a whole different world.

      English & Dutch are the prettiest languages ever in every way, but all Germanic languages are also pretty tho, and some of the Latin languages are also pretty! I never thought I would ever say this, but sometimes I even feel like Dutch sounds even better than English, especially the way some (that have a soft G) pronounce words like pijn and mijn and zegt and brand and the words with E / EE in them etc - I could listen to those sounds on repeat... Even though English is poetically perfect and with mostly pretty words and so refined (well, Dutch is too, actually) but, it’s like Dutch has one extra ingredient in the pronunciation that makes Dutch sound very, I don’t know, I can’t even find the word... And, it’s like the perfect balance between French accent (if French didn’t sound nasally) and American accent - I should have started learning Dutch a long time ago... I guess a word that would describe Dutch is hot, and I never thought I would find languages that sound hot, until I heard songs in Dutch... I wonder if most people ever realise how pretty and hot Dutch sounds / is... Anyways, the big term love only reflects me the only lovable being, and the word like must be used instead - only my protectors & I can use the word love and other love related terms!

    • @FrozenMermaid666
      @FrozenMermaid666 Před rokem

      And, another language that has a similar effect on me as Dutch is, OId Norse, which also sounds very hot, like, in the songs Troll Kalla Mik and Gleipnir by Skald... A voice can also influence the sound of a language, so it also depends on one’s voice - and also on accents / pronunciation... And, one tends to focus more on the voice than the language itself, but if one hears something in Dutch pronounced by someone with a soft / good-sounding voice and with a pretty accent, like, in the songs Vuurwerk and Boos Op De Wereld and Beter Zo, then he will like Dutch...

    Mijn moedertaal is Duits en op school (meer dan 50 jaar geleden) leerde ik Engels, Frans, Latijn en Russisch als vreemde talen.
    Mijn favoriete vreemde taal is Frans. Ik spreek graag Frans omdat ik goede vrienden heb in Frankrijk. Ik hou ook van het geluid en de grammatica van deze taal.
    In de Engelse taal kan ik alles uitdrukken wat ik wil, maar de grammatica is mij te saai, namelijk gedegenereerd naar "nul". Ik mis ook de vaste duidelijke uitspraakregels in het Engels.
    Ik herinner me nog delen van de grammatica en woordenschat van het Latijn, maar ik spreek natuurlijk geen Latijn en kan alleen heel eenvoudige teksten in het Duits vertalen.
    Ik hou ook van de Russische taal en ik kan ook gesprekken voeren in het Russisch. Lezen en schrijven gaat ook nog redelijk goed. De Russische grammatica is best moeilijk, maar het maakt het erg interessant.
    Na mijn schooltijd leerde ik een beetje van Esperanto, Italiaans en Tsjechisch, maar mijn kennis ervan is niet zo goed.
    Vorig jaar begon ik Nederlands te leren. Ik kan goed Nederlands lezen, maar als een Nederlander heel snel spreekt, versta ik er weinig van. Omdat ik Nederduits (Plattdeutsch) versta en iets spreek, is Nederlands niet zo moeilijk voor mij.
    Op dit moment begon ik Deens te leren. De grootste uitdaging voor mij is de uitspraak.
    Ik wens jullie allemaal veel plezier en succes bij het leren van vreemde talen.

    Zelf vindt ik elke taal die ik ken wel mooi.
    Het Papiaments is mijn moedertaal maar ik leerde al heel jong Nederlands, Spaans en Engels. Later leerde ik Frans op school. Toen ik jong was waren Franse chansons en zelfs Italiaanse liedjes populair.
    Er is geen betere manier om een vreemde taal te leren waarderen dan door middel van muziek.
    Ik woonde 15 jaar in Nederland. Daar leerde ik een beetje Duits. De Duitse taal is ook mooi als je het een beetje kent.
    Een taal kan minder aantrekkelijk overkomen door de uitspraak en beschaafdheid de van spreker.
    Het Spaans dat in Spanje, Colombia en Argentinië wordt gesproken klinkt mij altijd als muziek in de oren. Ook het Italiaans, Frans en het Duits zijn prachtige talen.
    Veel Nederlandse en Vlaamse accenten zijn wat mij betreft best mooi. Ik kan me voorstellen dat een ongeoefend oor daar anders over oordeelt.
    Ik ken geen woord Russisch of Japans, maar deze talen vindt ik persoonlijk ook mooi klinken.
    Het Engels wordt als lingua franca voor de hele wereld door iedereen mooi gevonden. Ook door mij.
    Als ik de gewone man Chinees hoor spreken klinkt het lelijk maar uit de mond van officials klinkt het stukken beter.
    Natuurlijk vind ik mijn Papiaments de mooiste taal die bestaat maar hopelijk vind iedereen dat van zijn moedertaal.

    Jeetje wat ongemakkelijk... I think you could take some pointers from Easy German on how to edit make the clips so they don't come out sounding so awkward. Like if you organize the video into segments related by topic, you can cut between different people answering the same question, which avoids the awkward pauses between the questions and answers, and avoids hearing the same question being asked numerous times. And regardless of the order of the clips, you should cut out the responses where the respondent didn't really have anything to say.
    That said it's nice to see a start of an Easy Dutch series. Looking forward to see how the series grows in the future!

But when it comes to making sense, being relatively easy to learn, and having the most beautiful egalitarian idea behind it, it has to be Esperanto.

    • @FrozenMermaid666
      @FrozenMermaid666 Před rokem +1

      It isn’t beautiful, actually - maybe a few pretty words, but most aren’t! Anyways, the love emoji only reflects me the only lovable being, and cannot be misused in comments etc - only my protectors & I can use love emojis and the word love and other love related terms! And, the words can and akcay / açaí also cannot be in someone’s name, so all unsuitable names must be changed!

    • @FrozenMermaid666
      @FrozenMermaid666 Před rokem
