- World Darts Championship runner-up Luke Littler told Sky News he has no idea how he'll spend his £200,000 winnings.
He said: "I am just going to go home, go somewhere and just chill out and get back to the [darts] board when I need to."
To young inspiring darts players, Littler advised to "just keep at it, keep going and make friends... and stick to the board", before adding he only trains 30-45 minutes a day, as any more "gets boring."

This lads' soul is so pure and I love it. What a guy. All the best to him.
Fun fact: Luke was born on 29th February, so he would actually be 64 by now if his birthday wasn't on leap day.
He was born on the 21st February
@@PeterMc141 Fun fact: jokes exist
Yes imagine what he will look like at 50
@@simonfootie6255 Yer Jealous of young guy ..Stop that now its not good thing to possess .

No shortage of dumb questions from the gutter press
iS dArtS a SpOrT oR a PaSsTiMe?
As always ... for sure -)
Stop bullying 😢
Rude asking him how he's going to spend his earnt money. None of your f business!
The first news i heard about this guy. I didnt take it so seriously.
Well, now i certainly take him seriously, he has shown, he has nerves of steel and a good bloke all and all. Im rooting for him, in the future. Well done mate.
People saying he looks old for 16 but its just he actually grew up around the pubs and not online!😂
Too many pork scratchings 😂
loool well said fella
Bro he literally met his gyal on Fifa what u mean 😂😂😂 I’ve grown up in boozers I don’t look 36
Or it’s just genetics 😂
British genes 💪
To answer all this incredibly 'creative' questions:
He is fine, it was unbelievable and it was crazy, let him go home, now.
He’s a real credit to his family, what a lovely chap
Good luck to him: gonna be massive in the sport! What a talent! Glad Humphries won though: on this years play Humphries deserves to be world champ. Littler's day will come :)
Might be massive, Too early to truly say. For now we should let him play and enjoy it. None of this media attention is helpful really,
Well done to him. Getting to the final is a great achievement.
It's not a world record
Very impressive young lad,Fan for life here,God bless
I wish the media circus had asked him a few questions about the actual final and his opponent rather than focusing on the fact that he has became an overnight sensation etc.
Even he believes he shouldn’t be getting all this press over the winner
Lad is BUILT for darts. I'm a barman and our pub does a weekly darts night, he's going places this fella. He didn't get the 500k but 200k at 16 is not to be sniffed at, hats off boy.
His head must be like please stop asking me questions.
Avoiding the msm is his best option.
He hit double 16 and turned 32 😂
a Lovely lad with a pure heart of gold 👏👍🎯
Can't believe he's only 30!
Jealousy of young guy ..Ye he looks few yr older than 16 yrs but more like say 20 yrs but soon shall be in a week or so 17yr old so not a big deal ..Many young guys who play darts shall be jealous of the young guy whose done great and great for the Sport of darts actually and should applaud the guy as takes a lot of bottle to play in big games with crowds watching on although this young guy Luke Littler shall be used to palying darts in front of crowds as has done many times in past although this was the Biggy and he done Great for reaching the final . And shall be a final to remember for all darts fans all over the World as darts as we know today is World Wide seen . And good i say that its a young British guy whom has opened up Darts in a good light ..Britain who it was began darts way back byt a Bonnie Scotsman namely Rabbie MacTavish .
Now youll all be googling up this famous name guys ^
Awesome Luke
A Superstar in the making 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤
Hated to see Barney go down against him in a strong match, he´s a great Lad, big compliments to himself and his Family for what he has become at this age, i am sure he will "not just once" hold that Trophy soon enough!
Best wishes mate 👍
Great stuff young man don't listen to no one only your mam and dad
When I read he had been playing ‘non-stop’ since he was 18 months old, then this doesn’t seem surprising. He’ll have put in his 10,000 hours and _then_ some! It’s nearly always about the hours.
Prem darts is going to be interesting
He seems quite a natural in front of cameras; he doesn't say 'for sure' !!
Go on luke
Media hounding the lad
Why ?
2 years Luke will be the World Champion. He needs to just keep up his game, grab a few other titles on the road, get used to winning, and then go for the big one
natural talent...born with it. what a lad
Nah.. He worked hard most of his life.. No one is born able to hit 180s 🤦🏻♂️🤣😂
@@stoicsavage509 some people are naturally good but it’s not just that natural skill. It’s composure and even learning the maths and making the right decisions.
Some people just have natural ability, even someone like Bobby George who isn’t that good by today’s standards. Started darts randomly at the age of 30 then won the first tournament he entered that month and became a pro a year later.
@@Glasschin2.0 yes.. That was my point... It's not just natural talent
I noticed one foreign women was trying to get him to speak about his girl friend and who ever was guiding him told her not in that direction please. he did right , she never asked about the darts.
She even didn't know he finished school already.
Very mature for 16 👍
Meanwhile, Humphries chills with no media attention 😭
Noone was intrested in him
He's probably delighted. Seems the type who just wants to turn up and play darts. Level headed guy. Littler also. Most 16 year olds are mouthy immature brats. Probably helps growing up around darts and older generations.
He’s a credit to himself both on and off the oche.
Did anyone hear the question that they were told not to ask? I couldn't make it out properly. I hate this intrusion and I hope Luke can get on with his life.
After she asked about people questioning his age she asked if these were accusations that bothered him
@@animated153 Ah okay. Nice one..and what a stupid question. Even on TalkTV other day they made reference to his age and how he'd be questioned if he had came in off a boat.
What did the guy say in response?
These questions… just cringe at some point
“I dont practice” 😂 good for him!
Guy does practice he said 30 mins to 45 mins per day ..Although facts are people who play darts they dont like to admit they do practice ..Although too much practice i believe is not good for your game .
@@patsanters2741 why is too much practice a bad thing?
The world's most 37 year old looking 16 year old
"He needs to go outside, playing darts isnt a life goal". Jayne Secker.
I want to see his parents !!
I still can’t believe he’s 16 y/o
Darts is a sport 100% and a great exciting sport also.so many exciting moments over the years wTching the darts
Orsum young man
WOW he looks more like a 35 year old man he even sounds like a it he is incredible that is for sure
That’s the only reason I’m interested in this story, this guy being 16 is remarkable
All this proves is truly how awful the press are.
They certainly are.
He looks 26
How is this guy only 16?
His parents got intimate almost 17 years ago.
he's not. he was born in the late 90s.
He was born 16 years ago, that's how 🤦🏻♂️
ummmm no numbnuts. he was born in the late 90s (he has openly said that), but he changed his name from his abusive father, and so now lives with his mom and step-father, and officially changed his name 16yrs ago, which is how he idenitifes. @@stoicsavage509
Some of these questions are ridiculous and each person repeating them again.
This guy is at 30 FKG years OLD 😂
Hes 16? No way

Theres no way this lad is 16!
😂😂😂 I was thinking the same this lad is going to age like milk
yeah, theres a few media outlets that are reporting that he is in his late 20s. apparently was born in late 90s.

What a stupid question is darts a pastime or sport a mean spirited question .
It's an over-hyped pub game.
Maybe next time not eating Pizzas will get him to the title, or whatever makes him seemingly overweight.
I think it’s helped humphries he was the same few years ago
never sixteen
Wait till he gets his tax bill 🤣😂🤣
With the prize money he can bail his noncey girlfriend out of prison
Looks like a fatter version of daniel ratcliffe
This is ott with luke littler, he aint this special
At last the voice of reason. I agree.
How many sportsman get to the world championship title in their first season ?
Groomed
Youve interviewed luke more thsn the britishman that actually won the world championship. Fair play to him. But how about acknowledging the person who actually won.
