  • Here's a really pretty little "cuda a friend of mine at work has . He bought the car around 12 years ago then swapped out the original 340 and rallye hood for a 528 Hemi and a factory correct (though reproduction) Shaker .

Surely a nice vehicle..I have to wonder, it's a tribute car, did they do the added frame support/ leaf springs, heavier torsion bars etc, on and on. I know a man, bout a 1970 Hemi'Cuda convertible, 4 speed car...paid a fortune for it, found out later it was a 383 car, which is fine, but still had the 8 3/4 diff, basically they put a Hemi in, he way over paid

As far as I know it was done up as the original Hemi car and up graded as well . Not sure about frame supports but the new motor had at least 500 horse so without it these cars twist themselves so I'm guessing he strengthened the chassis as well as the suspension and brakes.

@@BillyCLeWorth You bet the frame could twist, just with a factory pure stock Hemi. There were I believe 2 places the frame was re enforced for sure with the Hemi, also different leaf springs/torsion bars

I had a 440 Challenger , biggest mistake I ever made was selling it

@@BillyCLeWorth A divorce in 2008 cost me a 1970 'Cuda, 440 6bbl 4spd [not numbers matching], and an all original '69 RoadRunner, 383 spd car with 44K original miles..In my past I have had 4 Roadrunners, from 383 to a Hemi, two 68 Charger R/T cars, and numerous other Mopars, from 383's, to 413's and up...now I have a BMW E60 M5 with a 5.8ltr stroker..Money for Mopars, to rich for my blood

@@artbrookey3468 sadly I'm out of the car hobby until my finances recover , but even if they do I'll probably end up being stuck with a brand "x" hotrod because of the cost of decent Mopars
