...."MOPAR to YA"!! Used to do make ready at Bertolett Dodge Christler/Plymoiuth back in the day in texas city,tx back in the early seventies.,....and if I could only have half of the cars we bought on trade in...built...then sold today... ......it makes me cry to see the old muscle cars...especially the mopars being shipped overseas these days!!
there were also a road runner, a dodge dart and..a 1971 plymouth hemi cuda (yellow) those are rare there is a 1971 plymouth hemi cuda convertable in my city (they only made about 8 of em)
@mercmarc Yeah new chally is real badass, i'm hopefully gonna snag a SRT in the next two or three years after the 6.4L Hemi is out. (2011 production) estimated 505-555 HP naturally aspirated engine.
Sweet burnouts...now how about trying to do it in middle of a curve??? I have a shitti old BMW 2.0 litre 6 Cilinder in line, and i give it a try now and then...very fun to drift a car...very fun.
there was a video of a mercedes doing a massive burnout without the brakes, i think it was the slr, also the ferrari 575, and an m3 to but it think you can see those on streetfire
That Challenger is my favorite car, it smokes those tire off like they aren't even on it. Very cool vid music or no music! BTW what is the gearing on that Challenger?
The 273 ci chrysler engines were a great engine, I remember seeing one in a 1967 dart gt, not much aftermarket parts were available, They would smoke a 318 with no problem.
The Cuda is a '71 383 4 speed car, the Roadrunner is atually a GTX... 440 4 speed, the Challenger is the Hemicar. The only 340 car is the Dart GTS and it, too is a 4 speed. Thanks.
I love the torque and response of a warmed up ford 460, but dont get me wrong, i definitely heart the hemis. Sucks that Plymouth is gone..wouldve loved to be around for a new generation Roadrunner or Cuda. Maybe it would teach the dipships who designed the new charger SEDAN what true muscle car badging and legend really means. Lets hope they dont fuck up the new Challenger...I want one in green with the 6.1 and a 6-speed.
The one at the very beginning, looked to be a Dart to me,but definitely not a Chevy II.Chevy guys make me laugh sometimes. Can't tell you how many times I've seen ads for Cameros(yes, that's how they've spelled it).I even saw an ad for an 82 Corvair, one time.
Mopar or no car!!!! Mopar we aways WIN!!! sou do brasil e eu e meu pai mexemos com dodge aki...temos um dodge dart e um charger porém aqui no brasil o nosso charger saiu com a carroceria do dart ai dos estados unidos...
This video was really great...But, I would really like to see more videos without music...I want to hear the raw horsepower and tire ripping burnouts and power shifting and the throaty long duration cam motors idling at low rpm's. Some good quality audio would make a video twice as nice!!!
a friend of mine(very rich) has his own museum..(1) 70 hemi cuda convertible,(1) 67 427vette,(1)70 chevelle big block,(1) 64 gto ,(1)70 camaro big block that he dragged way back when..(1) 70 cuda funnycar registered at 7.5 sec machine(1) 69 big block chevelle (1)67 chevelle (1) 70 Boss 302..all beautiful...
