do the carbon belts stretch or need adjusting at all?

Nope! The Carbon Belt itself is maintenance free and does not stretch. It will virtually last you a lifetime!
The only adjustment that would be done, if even required, would be belt tension, which is dependent on the rear wheel alignment. However, this realignment adjustment is rarely necessary.
