For bait on a "jig/jigging" we used the eye balls from a perch we already caught. 👀 NH ice fishing 🇺🇸

I like watching a video on how to catch fish. When they don’t even get a bite. I’m sure he’s good, but I find it funny .😂😂😂

Awesome video. Great info and consistent to what I experience here in Ontario. Perch are perch no matter the lake.

I love to use your mimic minnows and tungsten jigs while ice fishing. The silver shiner color or chartreuse jigs attract so many hits

Such and AWESOME and INFORMATIVE video. I could listen to Bro talk all day. 👊🤨
Glad I found your channel. I subbed. I'm sitting here and work on a slow night with a pad of paper and a pen...taking notes.
This is my first year since I was very young that I'm going to start ice fishing. This video saved me A TON of footwork that I was going to have to do.
I still have a 5" ice auger I bought 15 years ago. Is that sufficient to get the job done? The hole in the beginning of the video appeared to be about that size.
Thanks again for an awesome video. I'll definitely give you a shout out on my tiny channel if it works out. 😁👍

We have a unique perch fishery. I would love to have someone like you or another pro come to Canyon Ferry Reservoir Montana and really give it a good fish over for a week or two and then give your thoughts. We have a lot of big perch but they are tough to find and they don't always eat when you do find them.

Can you explain to me what's the difference between an ice fishing rod that you get from Walmart or you get drunk like Cabela's guy at work tells me the ones at Walmart their junk

You guys want real jumbo yellow perch and nice sized Northern pike.... Frenchman's bay Ontario especially on first ice. Caught a perch weighing just shy of 1lb and over 12.5 inches with a minnow. Literally 6-10ft of water. less than an hour's drive from Toronto. Took a nice photo with it compared to my shoe and being bigger, Def my PB in Ontario. Look for all the fishing huts near each other and find a spot there. You're welcome :)

Hello. Please read this. This is not a joke. I’m lucky enough to have a 10 acre private lake in northern Ontario. It is filled with perch. Tons of perch. But they are really small. The biggest one I’ve ever caught and never threw the ice mind you was 10 inches. For my leg that is a lunker. The lake is oval shaped and depth wise it is like an upside down fried egg. With the Centre being 22 feet. The yolk. It goes up gradually to 12 feet and shallow and shallow as you get into short. It is a tea coloured lake. Spring fed through the fluffy loose muddy bottom. But there is also flow through through the marsh at the north and south fence. I’m a musky fisherman and I still tell everybody that this is the hardest lake I’ve ever fished. Although filled with perch and nothing else. Except for tad poles and snapping turtles big, and occasionally a beaver. To make a really long story short. I just don’t understand these fish. Especially what they do in the winter. In the summer you can easily catch them with a bobber and a worm off the dock. A little harder with a Maps zero off the dock. But seemingly never around the lake or trolling. Extremely frustrating. I would love for your expert to weigh in on this. Thank you

I would recommend feeding them, and introducing 1 walleye and 1 smallmouth bass, I would say good luck, but your already pretty lucky, so, good luck anyway

I agree. Add a predator species in there to thin the schools down a bit in order for the fish to up their size a bit.

lol, 11 to 12 inches? Well if I was to do that I would be lucky to put a half dozen perch in the bucket all winter.
In these parts catching 10 inchers is considered a great day.
