Lot of work cleaning those little perch. Fun to catch. I know it’s hard to move and relocate your setup when cold out. Very possible a move shallower or deeper might get you on a better sized fish

What a great day of perch fishing! Watching through the camera imparts an entirely different feel for fishing. It reminds me of fishing on Leech Lake in Minnesota during a 2-week family vacation every year. I started fishing from the dock (always with my lifejacket on) at about age 6. One year I won the perch fishing contest by catching the smallest perch, less than 2 inches. Received a nice rod and reel for that. I sure miss those days.

You need a bucket of water to keep the little ones and dump them all back at the end of the day so you're not just catching the same little guy over and over.

Sweet!! We keep a live well with a bubbler going and as we catch the bigger one's we throw the littler ones back. Also the size of the bait will weed out the smaller fish sense they can't eat it.

Been fishing for over 60 years. Forget the minnows. The rig you used is close to perfect. I make my own. The biggest secret to perch fishing is find the fish.

There's a place called strawberry island in the city of buffalo ny. Its in the Niagara river. I remember the boat launch on the mainland side just filled to the brim with skins off filayed perch.

Hey bro the perch in aus is called a red fin they are so much fun to catch
In Britain we use maggots or worm to go fishing with to catch them perch and there size can reach to near 9-11inch long

When you ice fish . Take 2 buckets with you . 1 for keepers 1 for put backs.

4 feet +/-? Go out to the deeper water. Get the monsters. What keeps the camera from turning? That video quality is awesome.

Perch are not native to my neck of the woods. I didn't realize how small they are. Plus, using an underwater camera really doesn't seem very sporting. I have eaten them, though, and they are delicious.
