I've been using these on a baby z too and largemouth have been crushing them near the shoreline on lake st clair, late summer
Love the podcasts. Hopefully we get some more in the future
FFS is literally pathetic
This is the best jig head ever made. I’ve caught large and smallmouth, crappie, pike, trout, perch and even large bluegill. Pair that jig with the northland plastic and it’s amazing.
Beautiful. Artful perfection if you don’t mind my mention. ❤😎 Happy Fishing 🎣
Where can i buy that hoodie ?
Winnie?
Really good tips here!! Learned a few things here today!!
Great video. Thank you for sharing.
I bought a Lowrance hook9 triple shot earlier this year on sale and still having trouble with side imaging. What settings do you recommend?
On the mega live do you see the bait go down when you cast your bobber out or are you just throwing a certain distance in that area the fish are at?
How can I call northland bait stores
Thank you for all the great info guys!
Do you use fluorocarbon leaders or do you just tie the crank bait to the fluorocarbon line?
I have noticed thar the lakes I fish the big ones are chasing bait 5 to 10ft down in 20 to 30ft of water. Snapped off on a 30 last night scoping them
Love the tips. Who is sick of hearing "If you have FFS"...
If your targeting 30 'and 40' depths, would you use leadcore line? Or would leadcore be for deeper applications?
Ive definitely noticed the bigger suspended fish as well, cool to hear Jason talk about his learning experience with the reality of suspended fish.
Awesome video a lot of great info I’m going back to trolling do you have any recommendations this time of year of trolling cranks over bottom bouncer’s with crawlers
I’d like to hear more about that new tungsten weight from northland.
So, without your sonar, you can’t catch fish. 😢
Nope, unless you have a $100,000 boat, $400 rods (about12) and $5000 worth of electronics, and a CZcams channel it is IMPOSSIBLE to catch fish 😮 maybe you should find a new hobby 😂
Great tips thanks guys!!!
Yes! Great videos guys!
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I can't catch a walleye to save my soul right now. The lakes I fish are infested with big bluegills. They get to the baits before the gamefish do. Trying from 15-32 fow. Nothing but gills. Kinda depressing. Haven't done any night fishing, but not sure it would help. Any suggestions?? Thx.
This is great. Is there any rod characteristics you're looking for when trolling a crank on a spinning rod?
If I was looking to buy a spinning rod for fishing cranks, trolling or throwing, I'd look 7' or longer in a medium power moderate or moderate fast action. You want to keep rod tips out and away from boat no matter where you're sitting, and the length comes in handy for trolling or throwing Northland Rumble Shads or Shiners.
Great lures! Top notch through and through! If they were in the Bomber price range I’d have a huge collection of these🏆
Worst lure ever you’ll never sell me again!!!
Why is that sir?
Great information thank you
Great info
Thank you for sharing
With a little of the smelt or emerald shiner BRB and those paddle tails are irresistible. Can’t beat the eye candy.
I’ve only ever used the rubber bobber stops, the threaded ones are just a pain in my opinion.
I just noticed that you guys acquired Bagley and now NOBODY up and down the east coast has Bangolures in stock. I’d really appreciate it if y’all put and end to this shortage and start sending them back out. If yall bought Bagley baits and immediately cut production of the bangolure, you’ve just upset the entirety of southern bass fisherman. Please start sending those Bangolure orders out or at least reply to some emails, no one knows what you’re doing to that company
Ol' Gussy Gustafson? Oh yah sure, you betcha he can sure catch those walleyes on his fancy Ned rig thingamabob.
I don't even wait for the dog days of summer to start trolling. Once that water hits the high 60's, I'm trolling stick baits with good success. One of the things that surprises me is why don't more people use downriggers especially when trolling deep or on deeper flats. Long lining, lead core, and dipsy divers works alright, but I've found the most consistent success trolling is with a downrigger. I get a lot of weird looks when I mention walleye fishing and downriggers in the same breath, but I tend to catch walleye in the summer when others aren't. One of the more underutilized tools when walleye fishing.
PAIN IN BUTT TO SET UP ON ROUGH WATER. BOOTTOM BOUNCE DEEP SNAP WEIGHTS SUSPENDED!! CHEAPER TOO.
@DEVILDOG1964 Sounds like you don't know what you are doing. You can get a setup nowadays for under $150 on cheap end.

Awesome video man!! Good stuff! I've been wanting to make a walleye fishing video for my channel!! I love watching your videos man, keep up the amazing job!! 💪🤝🎣🎣
I keep mine in soft sided cooler. And always keep it out of the sun.
Had the opportunity to spend a few hours on the water with Brad a couple weeks back and he is as advertised. Extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Greatly appreciate the insight he shared that day as well as in these videos. Keep up the great work fellas!
My favorite way to fish!!!
Best part about Eye Candy plastics is they do not die. Easiest way to afford the short shank tungsten jigs.
Was trolling spinners yesterday. One 3" minnow caught my limit, and will hopefully catch more.
Great video just wondering what plastics r u using on those jigs
I bought 3 of them. It has some real potential in skinny water!
What others would you recommend for smallmouth bass. I am still learning-thanks
❤❤❤❤
What size rod, power and action are you using?
I’d say a big MH something like a Steez Bottom Contact II or a GLoomis 894. Action is probably fast. Length between 7’4-7’6
curious what scent you might've used?
I’m still using the 4 inch northland smelt minnow, for me it outfishes the eye candy 5-1. Had a trip on millacs earlier this year where it was more like 10-1. Other guys in boat were using eye candy and the smelt minnow was dominant, and I’m guessing guys are adding scent to the eye candy is because the smelt minnow will out fish it most days as they are already scented from factory.
The heat is killing mine. Was 90 outside and they were in my storage in boat and 1/2 were junk. I do love them but have to be cold weather and water baits. Good for the company I assume.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Dude, all those hearts are really kinda scarey without some kind of explanation.
