    Got this stuff for Christmas and used it on my 17 year old 4Runners headlights and it brought them back to life. Could not recommend more.

    Nicccee. Like you said griots test products vigorously 💪. I need to get my hands on some even with just an orange pad removed 80% of the defects

      Yes they work tirelessly when testing products so they know they will do what they are suppose to do. I was impressed using just a correction pad.

    2nd! Great video! That stuff looks like an absolute winner.. people often overlook how a clean light can make or break a cars appearance! Nice job!

    Yeah I bought one of those polishers used it twice and then got a Flex pxe haven’t used the griots since 😆

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  Před 4 měsíci +3

      I have heard good things about the flex but this polisher works just fine with a lifetime warranty.

    Very cool! Griots makes some great products. Question: Does anyone know how to get the oxidation off the inside of the headlight housing?

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  Před 4 měsíci +4

      Yeah Griots never lets you down that’s for sure. Only way to get it off the inside would be remove the lens completely but that’s a real pain to get sealed back up without it leaking.

    I'll have to look into this product. Thanks for the review. Are those 3 inch griot boss pads your using? How is it on those plastic b-pillar plastic trim?

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  Před 4 měsíci +2

      They are 2 inch boss pads. I didn’t use it on the pillars but Griots claims it works great plastic pillars.

    Another great video. What should I put on the headlights after every washing, if anything? Thanks again.

  • @Abc-tu9ry

    Loved the video but the headlights prior to tbe application of Griots Garage All In One look much clearer & shinier.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Thanks but I don’t understand. The part of the headlight we cleaned with it was yellowing and oxidized. It looks way better after doing it.

    • @Abc-tu9ry
      @Abc-tu9ry Před 4 měsíci

      May be it's just the video clarity that is not too convincing compared to actually being there & witness it. The left headlight is way much clearer than tbe right before work being done on it.
      Keep up the good work and keep posting them videos.
      Cheers.

    The lights turned out great. What do you recommend to use on a new vehicle to protect the lights?

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  Před 4 měsíci +3

      Thanks! I would use ceramic coating or a sealant with UV protection in it on new lights.

  • @pathfindercod4638
    @pathfindercod4638 Před 4 měsíci

    This would probably work on the black shiny plastic b pillar on the driver/passenger window? My wife's black plastic that's on the backside of her driver door and front of rear passenger door is very dull looking instead of shiny and black. Just like that black area above that taillight you did.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  Před 4 měsíci +1

      Yes it will work on the plastic pillar pieces. I haven’t tried it but Griots says it will on the back of the bottle.

  • @JhawkerZ
    @JhawkerZ Před 4 měsíci

    I gotta get me some of that. I have the G8 also. Do you think the 2 inch is better than the 3 inch for lights? I know there's a lot of variables. Just curious about pad performance.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  Před 4 měsíci

      You will love it. 2 inch is more controllable on the lights and your not working a big area. 2inch will also spin faster which means faster defect removal. Hope this helps

  • @fireball7671

    I wonder how this would work on a instrument cluster. I've kinda struggled with those.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  Před 4 měsíci +1

      I have not tried it but Griots says you can use it on clusters. If it’s anything like the lights then the instrument cluster would look brand new.

  • @mustanggeek8333
    @mustanggeek8333 Před 4 měsíci

    Do you think you could use it on atv plastics?

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  Před 4 měsíci +1

      I would say most likely yes but always do a test section in an inconspicuous spot or contact Griots directly. They have a great very knowledgeable customer service.

    I always hate that inside haze in the lights , cannot do much for that condition.

  • @Swimdancer1

    Dude, 7 inch pad would have been faster 😂

  • @ronb9901
    @ronb9901 Před 4 měsíci

    This is great for a clean n buff but it is in no way a headlight restoration. The haze will just come back in a few months unless a proper restoration is done.
