She writes as delicately beautifully as she herself is. Amazing read!

Her latest book is "The Ministry of utmost happiness " a fiction but already making waves abroad and amongst her fans here . She has effectively used this novel also to push her anti-India agenda ! A fiction writer at her best ! Wonderful plot, selection of characters, time and places ! It's all very good till Ms. Roy is acclaimed as fiction writer and wins Booker or whatever prizes she deserves. But she is attempting to mix the Indian society, it's history, it's people and present day politics with her fictitious imagination ! She is seen trying to take the world on her flight of her literary forays and showcase this aerial view as India ! This aerial view is carefully pinned with few prominent contemporary incidences be that army guy taking a Kashmiri boy as a human shield or newspaper reports of lynching of cow traders or beef sellers or the series of legal battles our PM faced since 2002 as Gujarat chief minister . What ordinary Indian wonders is that where does her sensitivity vanishes on the opposite side. Say that Army officer was on a rescue mission to free his men from the clutches of a frenzied mob or then CM, Modi had to deal with a situation arising out of brutally burning alive of 69 pilligrims ( which was surely of not of his making ). In fact no sitting government or its cohorts endorse the violence but at times helpless to contain it ! Arundhati Roy appears to be widening the inherent or historic fractures of the society by taking sides through her creative and intellectual capabilities. Though the Madam is intelligent enough to know these fractures are deeply rooted and present dispensations have little control over them....
