I generally am curious about comments. People who have opinions seem to generate many responses including hate. I have read much of Arundhati Roy's works. Like all of us she is not perfect but she is very capable of adding to a discourse that hopefully will bring us to a better world. I love her words. Thank you Arundhati.

Her biggest contribution to India is her fearless voice for the Adivasis and India's forgotten people. Fiction writing is just a side note of her life. She changed my perspective on Kashmir conflict. When you are high on nationalism and false sense of patriotism, you forget to read between the lines. Arundhati is criticizing our government Because she loves India and its people. She is in fact the prime example of the power of Freedom Of Speech, the foundation of Democratic societies. Read her book 'Listening to Grasshoppers'- you will understand that she is well versed in history and is a reasonable critic of capitalism and communism. Just because she supports a movement that is perceived by you as anti-India doesn't mean she does it because she hates India. She continues to defy the naysayers because she has the Real love for her country. She is the kind of Indian India needs.

I agree with you to some extent. But she criticises our nuclear programs in countries which were the pioneers in nuclear testings & have ballistic missiles which have the capacity to destroy the world. They are armed to their teeth. Doesn't it sound fake ? I mean they can defend themselves but how dare we do something remotely resembling that ?
She says that the RSS was happy when 9/11 happened because they thought we have an ally in hating muslims. Now the whole world dreads that so called religion & its teachings. Did the RSS ask them to do so ? Is the RSS responsible for all that is happening in GB now ? Are they responsible for Charlie Hebdo episode ? Does she know what she is talking ?
I agreed with Ehsaan Jeffry's case. Yes, they chopped his body piece by piece alive & dragged him around in front of his family & burnt them all. But how come his wife & daughter are alive & present at her book launch ?
Half truth is worse than lies. Gujrat had communal riots at least from the 70s when a man called Narendra Modi was unknown. For the first time the land is quite & muslims are experiencing peace & prosperity in Gujarat & it is also by their support that Modi got elected as the CM again & again & now as the PM.
I agree completely that Maoists are the creation of the greed of corporate-politician nexus. They are the victims & the govts & corporates are the hitlers who have kept them marginalised after driving them from their homes.
But look where is she criticising all this ? In USA ! Where are the native Americans ? Weren't they butchered by the immigrants who were greedy to grab their lands ?
I agree that Kashmir should be freed & the atrocities of AFSPA there & in Union Territories are unspeakable in India. If you do, you will be termed as an anti national.
But she is a bloody leftist who doesn't speak about the pundits, the Jihaad & the islamic terrorism the world is facing day by day. You can't deny that.

SHE is a biggest shit born on planet earth .These type of people have no worries about the kashmiri pandit when they are forced to leave their homelamd of its own country but she will talk about the genocide done to muslims. She will not talk abiut the terrorist attacks which is ddone by kashmiri and attack like mumbai where common people are killed but she will talks about the killing done by india army to protect its citizens. THESE pseudeo love of her is a symbol of whore mentality ideologies .Why she dont speaks a word when radical islam group do shit in this country ......
P.s-This bitch is talking about godhra and observe how clearly she changed narrative .Its been clear some fucker muslims had put the train on fire which led to this violence...but i dont know in which world she heard the narratives of internsl trsin fire
