      The show parodied mainstream pop culture.
      When it became mainstream pop culture in and of itself, the parodies, political subversions and nuanced joke making were all dumbed down for the new audience.

      I think it comes as a little shock to them how Italian is mostly pronounced as it's written, which explains why spelling bees aren't a thing in Italy.

      Gladius English is a difficult language in general I guess

    • @gib501
      @gib501 Před 6 lety +25

      Ion Knight English is the easiest language grammarly, I don't get why Americans always think everything about them is the "best stuff", it is bullshit. Try Spanish so you know what real grammar's like, or Chinese, or mostly any other language including Italian.

    • @gib501
      @gib501 Před 6 lety +13

      Ion Knight English orthography is über simple, try Spanish, compared to it, English is for babies. I got perfect English orthography since first grade and I live in Mexico.

    • @33nadroj
      @33nadroj Před 6 lety +38

      gib501 The guy saying English was complex wasn't saying that was a good thing. Why would you say Americans think it's "best" because it's harder to learn the language coming from certain other languages. And since you already speak Spanish learning English wouldn't be that hard for you since the languages are very similar already. EDIT: Plus the reason why English is considered harder is due to the fact that many of the "rules" can be easily contradicted in certain cases. Things aren't as concrete as in other languages.
