If I'm not utterly mistaken, the creator of "The X-Files" said being parodied on The Simpsons was the greatest honor his show could have possibly received.
I'm Argentinian, and I always listen any series in their original language. But in this case, the Mexican spanish dub is just spot on, way better than the US. Here the jokes are the center, but the voices the put on were just icing on the cake, they made me laugh just hearing them.

This Episode was the Simpsons Season Premiere that year and X Files was also insanely popular as well. But I like the fact that this Episode is a parody of the X Files, plus there are a ton of Pop Culture references (Steve Urkel, The Shining, Shamu/Sea World, Star Wars, Star Trek, Alf, Looney Tunes etc.) And a random Cameo by Lenoard Nimoy, but it dosent seem bloated. Its Freshly and cleverly written throughout the Episode. I miss stuff like that

One of the biggest laughs I ever recall my dad having was when the polygraph exploded after Homer so innocently and enthusiastically answers "Yes!" Right up there with Homer's scream when he charged at his awful BBQ DIY project with a patio umbrella LOL
