The bird sanctuary one is my favourite and lives rent free in my head. I know you shouldn't break down comedy but I just can't stop thinking about this. The sanctuary is in a state of crisis, and Hans is actually doing a quite heroic thing by deciding to take charge of the situation and do something to help. "Get me the biggest bird seed you have" would should quite authoritative if said by a more action hero type. He needs a size that can feed an entire sanctuary of rampaging birds, and yet somehow, whatever size they offer is TOO BIG. How? What ridiculously huge size is it their offering. It could be it's outside Hans budget, but with the quickness that Hans responds there's no way the phone operator had the time to specify budget, only size. That's the only thing getting in the way of stopping this entire catastrophe. Yet it's just too much. It's fundamentally absurd and I think about these quick few seconds so much

The bird sanctuary one is my favourite and lives rent free in my head. I know you shouldn't break down comedy but I just can't stop thinking about this.
The sanctuary is in a state of crisis, and Hans is actually doing a quite heroic thing by deciding to take charge of the situation and do something to help. "Get me the biggest bird seed you have" would should quite authoritative if said by a more action hero type. He needs a size that can feed an entire sanctuary of rampaging birds, and yet somehow, whatever size they offer is TOO BIG. How? What ridiculously huge size is it their offering. It could be it's outside Hans budget, but with the quickness that Hans responds there's no way the phone operator had the time to specify budget, only size. That's the only thing getting in the way of stopping this entire catastrophe. Yet it's just too much. It's fundamentally absurd and I think about these quick few seconds so much

Hans is like the perfect example of why you need to specify your immortality conditions when you wish for it. The man never dies, never ages past what he is now, but at the same time the man _never_ dies and is stuck at his decrepit age.
