Hi mate speaking as a West Ham fan with a few contacts at the club . We are hearing we are offering him complete control to build the team he wants . Apparently he was pleased with the set up and went away happy . We shall see . He has a big buy out clause that could be a problem.

Liverpool want him on the cheap. West Ham have offered him much more. Amorim is far more interested in the project but his agent has to do his job. I love Amorim, what he's done here at Sporting is beyond belief and I was gutted that he didn't take the Villa job but he was never going to leave Sporting midseason. He's such a wonderful human being as well as an amazing coach. You won't hear anything now until after Sporting's trip to Porto where hopefully we'll win the league. Finally, don't forget there is a buy-out clause to be paid to Sporting though I imagine it can be negotiated. It will be the best money ever spent if you get him.
Someone mentioned to me though that the clause must have being agreed to be paid for him to be allowed to go for meetings
@@AdamNaylorLFC_Chats I'm not sure. Such is the respect Sporting have for Amorim they're not going to block him talking to clubs, they're already looking for his replacement. I'd imagine all talks are between Liverpool/West Ham and Amorim's agent. Clubs will be aware of the clause and possibly what Sporting will accept. Sporting are not going to create problems and will probably take a bit less than the €20m clause. There will be some kind of gentleman's agreement in place. My guess reading between the lines is probably around €15m which is peanuts for such a brilliant coach. Villa paid €12m of Emery and it was a brilliant investment. Extended contract signed today!!!!

Get a grip, Alonso just decided he wanted to stay at Bayer Leverkusen, we didn't miss out on him because he decided to go elsewhere and Liverpool are vetting a number of managers including Amorim but he's not top of the list

West Ham supporter here & our chairman has never paid out on a managers contract to bring him to us. I don’t have any confidence in him joining us. If Liverpool want him then he will go. Saying that I’d love him at West Ham.

To me I don’t see him coming to us when basically everyone respectable in the business is saying the opposite. The only way things could change is if Liverpool give him what he wants and if they do that would that undermine Edward’s? I really hope that we can come to some compromise but why fly all the way to see West Ham and not Liverpool?
I think his sticking point is money for transfers ie having players he wants. I’m sure he knows what klopp had to put up with and will want assurances .

Having said that, there has been zero credible intel coming out of LFC on Klopp's potential successor, so wtf knows what's going on? Doesn't look good on Amorim though. West Ham?! In West Ham he would be able to work with less pressure and probably more freedom aswell. There is a possibility they offered something that peeked Amorims interest and he basically said "Allright I´ll talk to you but it better be really good".

Would you want to follow after klopp as manager ? I personally think this Job will be a poison chalice for any young successful manager and Amorim ,probably wants to build his reputation with a lower standing club like West Ham, rather than follow in klopps wake . I wouldn’t even like to guess who we’ll end up with , because filling klopps shoes , as united found with Ferguson and Arsenal with wenger is an extremely difficult job.
