That looks so handy. What really got me excited was the nozzle. My brand of arthritis makes squeezing problematic. We switched to Melnor valves and manifolds because of the lever operation. The difference I see is their levers are longer so you can easily grasp it with the other hand and don't have to use your thumb. It never occurred to me to look for a lever nozzle. I can be pretty dense. Off to find one today.

My wife did not like the force it took to move the little valve lever and wanted her squeeze nozzle put on it. I like the lever one because it stays on by itself so it will go on the hose by the garden. Thanks for watching.

Hi 👋, URHC, I hope you are both keeping safe and well, That really looks to be a great Auto hose reel, The main thing is you have made the Boss Happy 😂, Sorry to hear 👂 you have still got Smoke 💨 coming over from Canada 🇨🇦, I have been following sprague woodturning he lives in Canada 🇨🇦 it was very bad, but he did say that he some rain which had helped, it is just a thought it might be worth putting a piece of plastic or plastic pipe cut down the length under it so it scratched the bottom, when it pivots, I was given 2 very large hose reels last year, no hose , I have got to build a place to fit my water pump as I am aloud to take water from my river to water garden,

The fires are very remote and it's almost impossible to fight them so this will continue. We had a couple days of rain that helped also. Having a river for garden watering must be nice. working on mulching everything in the garden the next couple days to reduce the need for watering. Thanks for watching.

Ed, you need to be the USA brand ambassador for Vevor!!! So far I'm impressed with everything you have shown us from them. Every hose fitting should be brass, not aluminum, pot metal or brass "plated". Vevor figured that one out apparently
I have been impressed with the Vevor items I have tried so far and am amazed by the quality and condition of everything when it arrives. The hose is a little stiff but that doesn't really matter the way it self winds. They have nice affordable options. Our favorite is the chamber sealer that gets used quite often and has not failed once. My Vevor videos actually bring in more subscribers then all the others lately. My wife

Interesting mounting choice. Mounting it the suggested route does make using it more useful and convenient TBH. The 180° rotation helps avoid damaging nearby plants/shrubs/etc not to mention avoiding possible tripping accidents (especially with it mounted on the ground).
Looks like a quality hose reel. Vevor seems to be putting out decent products. Definitely keeping my eye on them.
We wanted it to be down low and mostly hidden so this worked out best for us. We only pull straight out so no worries about the shrubs and it retracts nicelyout of the way. Vevor has some great affordable products that work good. Thanks for watching.

Hi Ed. Vevor most certainly has tons of various fields of products. I was looking for a Vevor retractable hose (100') back in April but at that time they were out of stock. As such, I bought an Ayleid 100' 1/2" about the same look and color as yours. Works great high quality (but $160.00). I've recently been looking at more of Vevor products I don't know if you can beat their prices for the level of quality. Take care hope you and the Mrs. are doing great.
I think they all are made in the same factory and certain resellers pay for higher quality. With the cost of shipping and packaging items well to survive shipping I wonder how they make. a profit. Thanks for watching.
Hello Ed; love your videos! How about an update on you and the Mrs.'s impression of the Vevor product. Has the overall performance held up over the course of the summer, and would you recommend it based on your use?
I only do updates if an item fails. Just had to blow it out and put it away for the winter so it doesn't get damaged by freezing full of water. My wife used it all summer and loves it. No problems yet, still works good. Probably be some good end of season sales soon. Thanks for watching.

I need something like that.. do they come with longer hoses or could you attach a second hose? I'd need at minimum 100ft
The 1/2 inch hose comes in 100 ft I think but that's small and will result in more pressure loss. If you're at the 100 ft point it may pay to bury a 3/4 inch line like I did down to my garden. Thanks for watching.
How do you activate the locking mechanism? Mine always retracts right away
I pull it out and slowly let it retract just a little and it locks' if that doesn't work pull it slowly a couple inches and very slowly let it retract. you will hear a clicking sound when it is in the locking area that happens once per revolution. Thanks for watching.
Brass fittings the way it should be. Flexilla is a great hose, but it has aluminum fittings like every other brand. Galvanic corrosion will happen with dissimilar metals.
I had the short flexzilla hose there and it was starting to show wear after 2 years. Vevor seems to have higher standards then most Chinese resellers. Thanks for watching.
This design comes in many different names. Great concept, poor material for the hose movement. IT RUSTS. The o-rings are to small
Time will tell. Vevor seems to have better quality then the other generic ones and hopefully it will last a couple years. We used to have corrosion problems with fixtures back when we had city water in our last house where the well water here doesn't seem to be as corrosive. Thanks for watching.

South Africa fire fighters-America- Portugal-Australia New Zealand and a few more have come to help put out these fires. 450 fires are still active and last count 230 are out of control!?? The weather patterns have definitely affected our air quality. Hopefully it's under control soon but what I'm hearing is they are mostly hard to access remote areas. Can't imagine how bad it is up where you live. So far I have had excellent experience with the Vevor items that I have purchased and been given. We will see how long they last. Thanks for watching.

These areas a have a grave influence on climate change. Most areas do not have a Monetary value but they help out with our and yours echo system! Love your channel!!
