@@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 I did my spring work here under a 200w vevor, similar to yours, and a 200w vivosun, similar to the one you gave away. I honestly think the vevor did better. They were just selling their 150w version for 55 bucks, like 400 diodes.... anyhow, I suspect the 3k/6.5k spectrum mix (vevor)vegetates things better than the 3k/5k spectrum mix (vivo). To call it older tech maybe is a little off, maybe a few years.... more like less efficient. But, from what I read, when you run the 281's at less than 100 percent you get better efficiency. SO you need more chips of 281's running at say 75% and things start to equalize...... SO, my vevor 200w has 550 chips and my vivo 200w 475. both basically 1 foot by 2 foot dimension boards.... the vivo has the lm301d's. all of these vevor boards are basically the same, bigger or smaller. buying 4, 150w boards at 55 bucks, then run those boards never over 75%, you got a winner in a 4x4 tent, you are hardly pulling 400w, and have over 1600+ diodes working for you. variable height around the tent is so key, you can run one light at 50%, but closer to the canopy, and right next to it have a different situation.

I have had the smaller machine for 2 years. Actually, mine is a Vevor with a yellow face plate instead of the orange face plate of this model... but otherwise very similar. It has been a great machine. You can use a 10" x 13" bag in the smaller machine. That machine absolutely is enough for most home users, or at least users like me. I do the usual stuff... buy meat in bulk, preserve cut foods (like a half of an avocado), preserve dry goods, like rice. Anyway, a few months back I also bought the larger model. Why? well the "reason" was that I started to Sous Vide stuff and I could do two bags at once with the larger sealing bar. Honestly, the real reason is that I like gadgets. Both machines are great and are real values.

Being able to do tomatoes and sauces along with soups and things like juices and cider make these chamber type sealers worthwhile. only things we lower the vacuum for are chicken and meat with bones that can puncture bags easily with high vacuum making it look like a bad seal. @unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 so I've thought about the winnnow process, I think an air pop corn maker without the heating element just a blower and a variac to control the fan speed would work as it would stratify things in an air bed and the light stuff float away, kinda like gold panning but with air not water. There is a possibility of using a cyclone that you could 3d print and it would work much like a hydrocyclone separating heavy and light materials via vacuum

Good morning, URHC, hope you are both keeping safe and well, that looks like an other great product from Vevor, good idea for wooden Dowels, Biscuits, domino’s , I was reading something last year where are they now? Vacuum kiln dry timber, never used any of it so I don’t know what it is like, I cannot remember if I’ve left you a message already, But I did finally go out and purchase a ride on lawnmower, Toro , It is a tool that I need to get used to, I ended up putting it into the river, luckily I did not go all the way in, But it did take me nearly 2 hours to pull it out with my electric winch by time I’ve got everything all sorted, When I had my John Deere ride on, I can go along the embankment about 2 foot away from the edge. I’ve never had any problems., Having two levers to control it, and very close to the river I’ve decided as a no-no at least a meter, it did do a very good job, especially as I’ve got grass nearly in some places 3 feet high stinging nettles and brambles and whatever, The grass has not been cut properly for the best part of four years, I just go around occasionally with a strimmer, Keep up the great work , stay safe, look forward to your next territorial, France.

You should join the Forestry Forum wher a lot if information about them is in the lumber drying section. www.forestryforum. com. I heard about your mower and be very careful on slopes or damp areas because they loose traction easily and without steering there's no control when sliding. Amazon also sometimes has some great pricing if you are just buying one roll at a time. PLA is usually the lowest cost, safest, and easiest to get good results from for starting. Some other filaments can emit dangerous gasses that must be vented outdoors so be sure to follow the filament manufacturers directions and warnings. Actually what scares me is calling technical support and finding out these had defective controllers and it was a normal occurrence.

I'd like the o make the same offer to you i have to TCs Outdoors in Sodus. if you need or want some dead ash, I've got tons if it. Everytime a squirrel 🐿️ farts 5 of them fall down. F o c, just give me a hand dragging it out of woods to open areas.

Thanks for the offer but I have a bunch more dead ash to deal with here and really have to get it all down because it's becoming dangerous and starting to decay. It's amazing what those little EAB did to this area. We bought our house before it hit 18 years ago. 2 years later trees started dying. That's when we switched to heating with wood. Thanks for watching.

@@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 I've cleaned up the same little area in my woods (bout 12ish acres), 4 yrs in a row now. I don't know whether to keep cleaning up down trees or to start mowing them down. It's all down on the flats portion of the property, along Mud Creek. Used to mow off what isn't cropped but have stopped to let the ash saplings take off. Hopefully they'll thrive and next owner will have a nice stand or 2.

If you have time and a chainsaw I would make as much good firewood as you can. With predictions of record oil prices and a colder winter on the way it would be a good way to make a couple extra dollars for the holidays. I bet with inflation firewood will go for between $80 and $100 a face cord this fall.

@@unemployedredneckhillbilly2023 mom and I combined burn about 5-6 cords. Girlfriend and her mom, unknown now cuz their stove isn't in yet but I've got them a good pile. Plus I'm busy w the farm 3/4 of the year. And the undergrowth in the woods is awful. 75 species, 73 of which have thorns. Do wood in winter as long as there's not a lot of snow cuz of driveway to it .

Strips are like carpet nap after vacuuming. Just how the bit lays the wood fibers. Left side of the bit lays it one way and the right side of bit lays it the other way.

Know that little area well. All 3 farms,& u went past 2 ex girlfriends houses. On your way to Pete's Pallet Palace? The farm just past Steel pt is where I bought my current disk.

It's a nice quiet area. That farm is just up the road from us. The pallet factory is basically gone. Had a big fire a couple years ago and shut the mill end down. Looks thet just build small quantities in that building off to the right now. I used to buy all my mulch there. We have run into a lot of crazies like this on the local roads lately. Thanks for watching.

Thanks. Poor little girl only made it a week. She had a serious genetic defect and we had to have her put down after spending time at the vet with no solutions to ease her pain and get her legs working again. Thanks for watching.
