Your reviews are always honest and no holds barred. I’ve seen another channel pushing these but they are not a review. I’ll definitely will look into these. It was your review some two years ago of the xtool D1 non pro that helped my decision to buy it and I haven’t regretted it one bit
Thanks. Some people are worried about Amazon sales and just say buy them. I just want everyone to see exactly what I received and decide if it will work for them. I think it actually helps companies to look at areas that aren't perfect and improve products. This is a fairly new company and I am sure they are listening to reviewers. I bought their adjustable shelf drill jig a couple of months ago. As you said, their finish is very nice and readable. I will have to look into some of their other tools.
That's the one jig I didn’t get to try but I bet it will work great being machined into a flat plate. Some of these weren't perfect but close enough for woodworking. They definitely got the engraving perfect and easy to read. Working on a vacuum adapter model for the hinge jig to 3d print now because it's going to be busy. Thanks for watching.

They are very nice and will work for most. If they tighten some tolerances I think they will be perfect for all at an affordable price. I try to show exactly what I received as accurately as possible. I refuse to take items that manufacturers have editing rights to the videos and let buyers decide if they will work for them. Most manufacturers will seriously look at improvements when seeing issues of shipped products. With most companies switching to plastic it is nice to see high quality machined aluminum tools like these. Thanks for watching.

Any square or level not accurate is immediately bent or cut to render unusable first, and then thrown away.
I set most of a kitchen with a bad level, 3 hrs later I was back to zero.... Never again.
I squareed up the t square and use it all the time now. Shame that little square isn't perfect. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for the review. The fact that the tools are not square is a big issue...even for woodworkers. A single measurement being off by 5/1000 may or may not be significant. But, when you compound that over a series of measurements in a project, it becomes a big issue in the end result of joinery and a fit of pieces. Not only have introduced a faulty measurement, alignment with a tool that is itself inaccurate, but you now also have to account for some human errors that creep in as you work. If you ever watch Rob Cosman, you will see what I mean. It makes the difference between what I make....and what I strive for in emulating his level of accuracy.
Most people doing woodworking these days don't use precision instruments and scribes and these seem to be as accurate as most pencil drawn lines. That's why I show exactly what I received and let you decide if it will work for you. The layout holes are all indexed accurately and everything is very easy to read. For craft and laser project layouts these are more then adequate but as you say extreme precision craftsmanship will require better. For me they are all easy to tweak and I think the price point leaves room for that. Thanks for watching.

The bench clamps, put your calipers on them and I betcha they are 20mm which is what the standard euro dog hole is. That’s my guess
Could be but that smooth shaft does not grip and the fixed rotating clamp shifts it enough to break any grip free as it shifts when tightening. I am going to knurl them for grip when it warms up outside in my shop. I really like the look. Thanks for watching

The bench dogs are 20mm (a hair over 25/32in), and not 3/4in. That's the reason they won't hold in your 3/4in dog holes. If you had a Festool MFT, they would likely fit well.
Does matter how big the hole is with a smooth surface. In another video I took them out on the lathe and put a fine knurl on them. No more slipping. Thanks for watching.
Hi 👋, URHC, I hope you are both keeping safe and well, they look like they need a bit of tweaking to make them perfect, great shame because they look very nicely made, when you was trying the square, the best way to check it is make sure the edge is dead straight put the stock of the square against your piece of wood. Draw lines down both sides of blade., then flip it over and draw lines again and they should be parallel with each other, if the square is straight, and square, I remember just, many many years ago, I brought a 6 inch and a 9 in.² from a tool shop, On, both of them were out of, square, and these were supposed to be in high-quality, good products made by Stanley, when I took them back to the shop to complain and replace them, they said to me, you do not know what you are talking about, I said I beg your pardon, there’s nothing wrong with them they are squares I said okay let’s go and try on a bench so I done the thing I just said to you about checking it, his comment was oh, it’s only a little bit out, I said okay, I actually brought a piece of wood with me, right this piece of wood is square all the way round, let’s mark on the end a line going all round four sides so we can see that we’ve got a square cut just cut to, the piece of wood was roughly 3 in.², you wouldn’t believe how far it was out, both squares one was only a fraction out for a 32nd, but the other one, the larger, one of the two of the 9 inch, I think was well over a 16th, how far this was out of, square, he did say there was a problem with them, so we went through a whole set of squares, I finally found two that I thought were Torrance, Trouble with me, is that when I first started work before doing joinery, I was a quality, controlling inspector, for nearly 3 years, factory I was working for went bust I do not know why exactly,
Anyway, me gambling on again , the tools look very well-made, but like everything, it’s what you pay for, is what you get, your router table looks very nice, At some point, I might be replacing mine, there is a firm in Germany called SAUTER SHOP , they make a complete router table where you can fit different makes of router in it plus they do a kit that you can make your own system, but which is even better still is that in one of their kits, you can’t actually tilt the router, I have a Felder spindle moulder, I can take the main spindle shaft out, and put a router spindle shaft in, it automatically changes the speed, up to around 30,000 I believe, plus it is got a tilting head on it, and I have found it very useful in many occasions, On some occasions, I just find it too big, this is the reason I might get a smaller system,

There is no way to check for square on a board edge with a pencil line. That is a myth that involves many variables. Many think they can see small differences but they can't with the human eye. The only way for me is with my certified square that has been CMM checked to be within .0001 of straightness and squareness over the full size of it and feeler gauge to measure for a accurate deviation. It is not perfect but I am not going to pay someone for a CMM check of tools like this. These definitely fall into the tolerances of most woodworking tools and are fully usable. If you want certified tools go with Woodpecker but remember one drop and there probably be not be much difference. These seem to be a great balance between price and usability for most. I think feedback will help Goingmake get bugs out and fix the issues.
A good router table definitely is a great addition to a shop plus those shaper cutters are quite costly for special profiles. Thanks for watching.
i have woodpecker tools and some of them had the same problems but as i am a woodworker i did not attempt to adjust them, i wish i had seen these befor
That's the trouble with buying high end tools. One bang or drop off the bench and they are no better then these. I don’t think GOINGMAKE has been around very long. If they tighten a couple tolerances they could probably be the best available. I had a hard time reading the red woodpecker items I looked at and didn’t buy them for that reason. They really got the fonts and engravings perfect on these making them very easy for me to read. Thanks for watching.

1st off, if it’s not square,it’s not square! There is no good enough for woodworkers! 2nd point, almost wondering if your square is off? Seems everything they sent you was out the same! Wondering if you dropped that machinist square or if it was just out? Just a thought.
Actually there is a good enough when you are just marking with pencils as many do and rely on their machines being properly setup. The square is on and as you can see that one corner clamp was perfectly square and the other is not so feeler gauges are used to show the total out of square over 2 axis's. Seems to be manufacturing tolerances, straightness and finish thickness in the mix. I can adjust them easily on my Bridgeport but many don't have the capability so I just show exactly what I received without any mods. Thanks for watching.
I think it would be beneficial to your viewers if you can tighten up the screws, shim or adjust these tools as needed and see if spending a few minutes to properly assemble these items off camera where you can think as you work a little better and then report your findings. They after all have been shipped a great distance and through a wide range of temperatures. In my experiences with some of these Chinese tools a little dismantling if needed, cleaning and properly setting them up to compensate for any irregularities can make these tools perform to your needs.
I did try adjusting the T square and it couldn't be changed by varying how the bolts were tightened or trying to hold it square. I am going to square it up and pin it in my machine shop but most don't have that capability. Flat head screws used like that are the worse choice for accuracy, especially with all the slop in the pins. The little square and corner clamp both need machining to make them perfect. Shipping is not an excuse for items like this that were packaged well with no damage. At the price point they are functional for many. This is exactly what I got and hopefully GOINGMAKE will take a look and see if tollerances can be tightened to stand out in a crowded market. Just a FYI... audio issue still is there
Thanks. I played it before uploading and it was fine. Seems to be something to do with youtube processing the compressed AAC audio after uploading to different resolutions. Everything is uploaded at 4k 30 and youtube reprocesses for different bandwidth feeds. Nothing I can do about it as video studio doesn't do updates. I don’t get it on my feed either. Probably because I have the correct decoder for my software. Thanks for watching.

This video seems like it is a good advertisement for why you should pay for Woodpeckers tools. With Woodpeckers there is no such thing as "wood workers tolerance"
Actually everything is tuned up now and there's a video about the hinge jig dust shroud i made that works perfect. Invest a little time tuning and items like this are a bargain and as accurate as any. Most use pencils to layout that have far worse tolerances. Nothing comes perfect anymore. Some of the comments I have seen on videos about red tools show that. Thanks for watching.
