Promising .. the cinematography changes with the change in the attitude and tone of the film which Is really good , the pace is really good and I hope it does deliver what it has projected in trailer .. the Novel was really good and I hope and expect the same from the movie too plus it’s got priyanka and Rajkumar two of the promising actors 👍🏻
When he was getting misused and slapped, it hurt me to my core =[ I absolutely cannot take when people in already vulnerable, servitude positions are taken advantage of and treated like dirt. Makes me so sad
Also the book which this film is based upon is in English and so its dialogues translate onto the silver screen better in English. Same for A Suitable Boy and Selection Day.
@ass The Book Version of Sacred Games Vs What you see on screen are very very very different. They have changed A LOT of things in the screenplay. The flare of the characters, the dialogue delivery and entire character traits. They've adapted the screenplay in a way that it can work in Hindi better and they've added their own touches to it. In The White Tiger, Selection Day and A Suitable Boy they try to stick to the source material much more as the source material has some very very beautiful and tantalising visions which translate much better on screen in the language it was written in. While books like Sacred Games are much concentrated on the plot, Books/Poems like A Suitable Boy are much more about the visuals. The screenplay of Sacred Games has been given much more flare to make it visually appealing and opening it to a wider audience. That's also one of the reasons why Sacred Games Season 2 doesn't work that well on screen as the screenplay this time hadn't been given enough flare to support its visual display.
As a lover of foreign movies The white Tiger ranks as one of the best Indian movies I have ever seen. The director is a genius I hope now he gets the recognition he deserves. The cast were brilliant and done the movie justice but I guess what will make the white tiger a huge hit as the book is will be the storyline. Who doesn't love a good story right? Go grab a friend and go see The white Tiger you won't be disappointed .
Still find it incredible how little credit authors get. Probably because the producers don’t want their audience to read the book ahead of watching the movie.
the book was amazing i like how edgy it was and its humour was dark too also the way this book gives the real taboo and you have to accept it cuz you know its true but you were just ignoring it i think an indian patriot with a thin skin can be easily offended by this but yet the journey of the character justifies what he thinks and how doesn't tries to show that he good and accepts what he is
The White Tiger book by Arvind Adiga, was socially provocative and darkly funny. It won the Booker Prize in 2008. Hope the movie does it justice.
I was just watching trailer calmly and at once it struck me, damn it its fucking white tiger😲😲 ,if they live upto the book its gonna be a great movie.
