Guilt. And maybe lots of childless men at his age, regretful of not having had children, would find some solace in the fact even upon learning the child had died?
Unfaithful was amazing on many levels. Two yuppies with the house in the country, a darling son, wealth etc. but the Mrs. needed (?) more & it all was destroyed. Not sure if the lover was killed because the husband felt betrayal & took it all out on the man or if he was destroyed that his carefully crafted world fell apart. Sometimes people just feel it's not enough when it is more than enough.
I was just about to write, "Wow" myself. That's an interesting, stranger story to tell. I'm glad it was made. I was also just considering how interesting stories aren't told as much by Hollywood.
@@somethingelse419 That's what got me into independent films. British ones too. They take you into stories with the kinds of complexities faced in reality. This one hits hard. gut level.
This has late 90's early 2000's written all over it and I am so down. Stories used to get told like this all them time. Super interesting, human stories. Nothing overly pretentious, just really watchable stuff. I hope this does well and that they take note.
Check out Bullhead with Matthias Schoenaerts if you haven't, and after that his film Disorder which also stars an insanely gorgeous Diane Kruger. The soundtrack is killer. Bullhead first made me become obsessed with Indies. It has subtitles, but it doesn't make a bit of difference in quality. I thought Indies were rad, then I discovered a whole new world with foreign language films and my mind was completely blown. Everything Mads Mikkelsen does is fire too. His films The Hunt and A Royal Affair are fantastic.
This woman robbed this man of an opportunity to develop a relationship with his son, then dug the knife in deeper by telling him about the boy after he had died. What a witch!😠
I love these 2 minute movie summaries that tell us the whole story, saves a lot of time and money 👍🏼
I think the trailer just told us the gist of the whole movie.
It looks like the whole plot in 3 minutes!
I still want to see it
So what ?!
wtf would you tell him after...thats just cruel

Richard Gere looks great for his age.
Looks like a great movie! Always like Richard Gere.❤
This looks stellar and like a total Richard Gere film! It'd make a great double header with Unfaithful!

Diane Kruger, one handsome woman!
Interesting concept.....trying to unravel who someone actually was and what they were like, after they've died.

How so?
that’s a lot
Interesting premise ... and just about the whole movie laid out in the trailer ... le sigh.
