Hand down the best script this year. It is incredible on how the script writer could make me feel so attach and grow along with these characters. So so well written. Their dialogue lines in all scenes are so smooth and never once wasted. They feels refreshing too. This drama is love.

That's the main thing I appreciate about 25-21, every single scene every single line was always going to lead to something else down the line, I don't think there has been any wasted scene. It's so well written!

The fact that we STILL don't know what's going to happen, AT ALL is what has me hooked. Otherwise for the most part, k dramas can be quite predictable especially if you've been watching them for a long time

This is Nam Joohyuk's best acting role . He is really living in this role. Heedo Yijin very realistic characters . Acting by both is amazing .
Yup, he is really Yijin. I think this role just suits him a lot more compared to what he was in "Start up".
So far I have seen three dramas where he is the main character and I would say Nam Do San was his best role.

ok,this is one of the BEST kdrama kisses ever. The angst, the way she said 'dont take a single step away from me,' the way he came back and took her hat off. *You drive me crazy* I SCREAMEDDDD. And the way they both looked at eachother. Also so happy this wasn't a dead fish kiss. He was so gentle yet passionate with her. The whole angst build up before the kiss madde it even better. Topped off with snow and the ost *chefs kiss*. Not ready to let them go in less than a week. 2521 is truly one of a kind and I will vanish from this planet if we don't get baekdo endgame

No, but the focus on Yijin's lips after kissing Heedo is very intentional as it shows relief that he can finally reciprocate and express his love for Heedo after restraining himself for the whole episode. Really the best kissing scene I've seen.

I never loved a drama like this before, literally the best drama I've watched in my entire life. Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri and the other casts acting was also superb!!! the raw emotions that are pouring out of both of their eyes is just SUPREME acting. Both joohyuk and taeri deserve all the appreciation for their amazing performance in twenty five twenty one.
This scene is so rich. The setting simple, yet beautiful. Hee Do's lines wrenchingly painful. The clanging of the closing gate when Yi Jin left Hee Do and the screeching when he opened it rushing back to Hee Do made me more tensed. It's like Yi Jin decided to close his heart to Hee Do, then wavered when she pleaded him not to take a step away from her and he opened his heart to her without restrain, culminating in the kiss. The gate's sound effect enhanced the raw emotions they expressed. Then the OST.
Oh my heart almost exploded 🙆♀️ Kim Tae Ri and Nam Joo Hyuk perfected the characters

That emotion is beautifully portrayed in both characters in two completely different ways. And it all ties together through the kiss. 2521 writers, directors, actors, you guys are *chefs kiss*
It's the trust, the communication, and the patience that built their love. Perhaps, one of, if not the purest, relationships I've seen in kdramas.

The best kdrama so far. Everyone would accept this that this drama has given us so much inspiration. It’s a really heartwarming show which makes you think critically about life, love, friendship and what not. I just cannot fathom the fact that this masterpiece is ending but I really wish that they make more dramas like this.
About the actors: the best cast must say! I knew Nam joo hyuk before but was not so much into him but after this drama he’s one of my favourite actors and talking about Kim Tae Ri, I haven’t seen any of her works before but now I’m going to I am just speechless I mean where were she this whole time ahh why I didn’t see her before she’s the best actress I’ve seen so far. I’m in love with her so much that I can watch her all day without getting tired.

Kim Tae Ri is consistently good. She gives her all in every thing she does. I concluded, that she only commits if the story is strong and the characters as well.
Her awards list are longer than her filmography, yet almost all of her entire filmography = masterpiece. She is so picky when it comes to choosing a project and rarely do a drama series. Watch her movie The Handmaiden, Little Forest, 1987:When The Day Comes, Space Sweepers, and Mr. Sunshine (drama). Fun fact her debut movie The Handmaiden is the first korean movie to win BAFTA and her debut drama Mr. Sunshine is one of the highest rated cable tv drama with 18.129 rating in its last episodes
After 2125 I decided to watch another drama of Kim Tae-ri, Mr. Sunshine. She's also amazing in that drama. I'm a new fan 😍

Friendships, family, love, hopes and dreams… It’s one of the most realistic slice of life shows I’ve ever seen. It gives you a sincere depiction of youth and coming of age! Also, there’s NO DOUBT they’ll be endgame. Just gotta read between the lines. ;) The growth of these characters is unmatched! I’m rooting for all five friends! 😍💓

He didn’t want to abandon her but scared he might hurt her and the people he love because of conflicts of his job, he is a reporter and she is a fencer so that something could happen to hurt their relationship
@@noufjar9978 because he's a reporter of Sports Division and it's kinda unethical to have a close relationship with athletes bc it might bring bias when he has to stay objective as a reporter. That's why he'd like to apply for other position outside the Sports Division.

Been a kdrama fan for 12 years already and I’ve seen a lot of rookie actors turned to huge actors. Nam Joo Hyun and Kim Tae Ri are one of them. Their chemistry is just too crazy. I really love how they portrayed their characters and I’ve never been more in love with Nam Joo Hyuk as Baek Yi Jin. The last time I fell for him was on the WFKBJ and thought his acting was quite mediocre back then. His role in 2521 is so far the best among all his acting roles. Superb casting!
The way this drama managed to make me laugh out loud at points and bawl my eyes out the next second is just - unbelievable. Definitely one of the best kdramas I’ve seen in a while!!
Hands down the best Kdrama I've watched ever. The writing, the acting, cinematography, directing, OST---everything is perfect and well thought out. This is also the first time I've wanted so much happiness for two people who don't even exist in the real world. I don't even ship Kim Tae-ri and Nam Joo-hyuk in real life. But my god do Baek Yi-jin and Na Hee-do deserve to be happy...to grow old and live a long life together being happy. When they hurt, I cry with them; when they laugh, I laugh with them. And when they try to live each moment of their lives sincerely and faithfully, trudging bravely through suffering and failures, I want to cheer them on and hope at the end there is joy and love to be had.
Please don't put us through all of that just to tell us that "nothing lasts forever" in the end. Some things do last forever, and the kind of love they share sure deserves to.

It was magical- on top of that the finishing touch of the OST, it was a long-awaited kiss and they ate it leaving no crumbs for the viewers. This drama took it a whole new level, could be my new comfort drama.
So they ended ep13 with a kiss only to give us that heartbreaking line at the end of ep14. This drama really makes you feel a lot of emotions 😭

Apart from that, 2521 is a sheer perfection to me. It has made me laugh (a lot and often), reminisce over my youth days, fall in love and heartbroken for the past 2 months 🌈

@@clemmyw.1967 For me, this drama has been one hell of a rollercoaster ride and all-consuming. I love both Nam Joo Hyuk and Kim Tae Ri before this so I was ecstatic to see them in a project together. And then to find out that their project is a rom-com? Like icing on the cake! I have loved every moment of their chemistry. Their performances were spectacular (and I really hope they win awards for this show). Their portrayal of Yi Jin and Hee Do and the pure love and steadfastness they have shown each other and pulled each other through thick and thin is one for the k-drama history books.
And not to mention the other amazing cast and the cinematography! It's shot so well and if someone compacted the series, it would pretty much be a movie.
Eps 1-12 has left me smiling gleefully like a teenage kid while eps 13-14 has emotionally drained me completely.....for days. I can't eat, can't sleep, can't focus on work LOL.
Now, it would be sheer perfection for me too if the writer ensures our dreams come true - that BaekDo marries each other, has lots of children together and live happy ever after (together)! Please please, writer-nim (on my knees begging here...).

I like this drama because the story & the cast is very natural, I like Kim Taeri & Nam Joo Hyuk, their acting both perfect each other, give us more episodes for this drama and give them an award

it was totally like a roller coaster of emotions...one second, tears started forming in my eyes during kim taeri's monologue i was like ugh they are going to break up now and then when he came back for her i was like whoaaa i legit screamed when this happened! totally unexpected! hands down best scene ever!!!!!!!!!

i just love how their intimate scenes will have lil to no background music for most of it. a lot of the times it feels like as the audience that i’m intruding in someone’s personal life cause how they built up the tension especially with this one. i read yijin was holding back for almost a month(idk if it’s true) all cause of probably outside povs and scared to the fact they could lose each other and then it gets to this scene where he just couldn’t hold it in anymore after hee do tells him she’s crying(a weakness of his) this drama has definitely become one of my all time favorites especially coming from someone who’s real picky lol.. it’s just so beautifully written and i really feel like these two as well as all the characters were meant for these roles

Its 4am and i am screaming cause damnnn this kiss, that we all waited for, didn't disappoint! Hatsoff to the director and writer of 25-21 for giving us this iconic masterpiece. The buildup to this moment and the moment itself was shot so beautifully and perfectly. The way he slammed the door open, threw her cap and just collided with her, the snow and the ost. The way he kissed show how much he loved her and how long he had to keep himself controlled. This is a cinematic masterpiece. My heart skipped a beat. Literally. I have a feeling i will be back watching it again and again and again over the years. 🥺❤️
i was thinking "no way Back Yi-Jin leaves her in their first ever snow they had together", but right when Back Yi-Jin was about to put me in tears, he rushed back out and we all knew what happened next. but why did the scene still make me tear up anyway? the acting in this scene was priceless, i could watch this scene on repeat!
WHEN I TELL YOU I CRIED MY EYES OUT WATCHING THIS SCENE, I CRIED SO HARD. it was so beautiful and I've never cried this much over such a beautiful exchange between two people. The amount of love they have for each other and throughout the whole episode, you could just feel how much he wanted to be with her even though everyone told him not to. They are the most connected and bound by fate couple I've ever watch in a Korean drama, this is crazy. This has definitely earned it's fame and deserves all the love it gets
