Saw the behind the scenes and realized the hoppang scene was also an adlib since he initially just turned away. He also said in an interview initially yijin was supposed to be the tsundere type but I’m so glad he portrayed him as warm and clumsy from the start
This role reversal killed me 😭 Hee-do matured and is now confident in what love means to her so now it was Yi-jin's turn squirm romantically on the inside whilst failing to play it cool on the outside. That poor umbrella was seconds from flying away 😂

Yes it will make more scene attractive, and every kdrama lovers/kpopers know what oppa mean. Or if people don't what is it, they can put oppa subtitle like
Oppa(older brother)
Typically when “oppa” is subbed, the subtitle would show up as the character’s name. I’ve never seen in a K Drama sub the word “oppa” replaced with “Older brother”.
D tbh I think it’s weird if they sub it as “older brother” because the context is clearly not meant for brothers… I think they’re just really confused about how to translate it and the truth of it is, oppa doesn’t come across well when it comes to translating. If they put older brother as a subtitle for oppa, new kdrama waters will be hella confused, the scene won’t even be attractive to them.For anyone who is confused, oppa is just a familiar term for a slightly older guy. It doesn’t specifically mean big brother. That’s why it can be used by girls to biological older brothers and older non related boys in general. I think relationships where the guy is older than the girl has become more romanticized so that’s why the oppa in strictly that context is also seen as a romantic
Jealous Baek YiJin n his agressive parasol spinning will forever remain iconic.i love this scene so much....the way he said " I'm Baekyijin mmmmmm" n "oppa whatever " voice modulation is so perfect n very much relatable..n his jealous writing with that diagram is the cutest..and when heedo called him...the way he says"i dnt know what your are speaking about" his expression was damn cute...this is what Namjoohyuk meant when he said he added two spoons of cute yet dumb vibes to Baekyijin character... Namjoohyuk is really a very natural and genius actor ..he really made Baek YiJin endearing & iconic ..

It is somehow has a same meaning, it’s like calling the other opponent ‘Oppa’ is like a sweet and polite behavior of Heedo to someone older than her, while Yijin stated he didn’t get the same treatment-thus, either way it means the same lmao this scene is hella entertaining
I LOVE how baek ijin is such a lovable and quirky guy who’s not afraid to show it lmao and nam joohyuk is to thank for that- his character was supposed to follow more of that “cold male lead” trope but I’m so glad joohyuk let his own genius take over

I've been watching Junho and Eunwoo for last 6 months, and Junho have his channel now, and in one video he talk about this cameo, oh boy I didn't remember him here, so I came to see this again. But I remember thinking oh he's really handsome, then 😂 probably too much dramas in my head did this to my poor brain 😅
