  • After all our healthy RV travels, I finally got sick! To distract myself all day, I put together this video to show you my small space, sick routine. Chris' fav part of this video, is when I do the closeup at the beginning - he kept repeating it and cracking up!

Get better soon. I have a cold right now. I usually run the vaporizer in winter because it is so dry here. 19% humidity this morning and minus 32. I also eat broth soups, but don't put much solid food in them. I like to "starve" a cold. Love the hydro-peroxide trick. I usually pour mouth wash over my tooth brush, or let it sit in mouthwash for a few minutes. I also don't leave it on the counter, but put it in a glass inside the cabinet. Thanks for the video.

Great advice! I would also add oil of oregano, colloidal silver, high dose vitamin C and bone broth which you are doing already. There are so many alternatives additionally but I don’t want to bore everyone. Love your channel, I just stumbled upon it. Good luck!

I'm with u on the chicken noodle soup. It always helps. I like hot tea with honey 🍯 and lemon 🍋 and I do the steam to. Thank you for posting. Very informative. We also live in a RV. It's so cozy👌

Thieves! That's what I love to use. I will be adding oregano and rosemary to my ER order next month. I haven't used those yet. I love RC and purification also. I like to sleep a good bit when I'm sick and of course watch old movies and drink hot tea. I will have to try the peppermint water next time and see if it helps my congestion too. Great tip! Feel better.

Hi, Laycee! The oregano is super strong - dilute a lot! And it makes you smell like pizza! But, it is seriously amazing. I really love rosemary too. Hope you like them!

To Wander Freely I will I have heard of oils that can burn if you aren't careful but I've only been using them for almost a year now. I'm still trying to build my collection.

I stumbled on your channel a week or so ago. Love vet it! My husband and I are hoping to join the RVing club to escape the summer heat. I so enjoy your experiences shared and helpful information. I’m especially interested in alternative choices to maintain good health. I do however have a question about nutrition while traveling. How do you find organics while on the road? Recently we were in the Midwest and it was challenging to say the least.

Nice remedies, but for me I don’t have time nor make time for sickness.. and simple shot of jack does the trick as well..lol.

Bless your heart, I sure hope you are feeling much better. Good suggestions. Chicken soup or really just about any homemade soup is one of my favorite ways to combat feeling puny.

The last few times I felt I was getting sick I started eating Manuka honey and I got better.

  • @sandyoklahomatransient8557

    Hey Sweetie,
I'm sorry to hear your sick, and pray for a speedy recovery. I just got over upper respiratory infection which turned into pneumonia (sick 5 weeks). I'm feeling so much better now.
I use a neti bottle to flush my sinus' with distilled water and salt twice a day. And when my throat is scratchy / sore, I gargle with mixture of 1 teaspoon apple cider vinegar, 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan salt, and 2 to 3 imches if warm water. This concoction actually kills the bacteria in your throat.
    Hugs,
    Sandy Livesay

Oooh, love your tips! Thanks for sharing! Chris has done the neti before, because he usually has more trouble with congestion than I do. I am doing much better, thank you; and I am sure glad you are doing better - that was a tough illness you were up against.

I love chicken soup, too! (Especially when I'm sick.) Make sure I have clean sheets, home picked up, and bedroom cleaned. Drink Be Young essential oils' peppermint green tea and regular green tea. I use OTC products, but I'd like to try what you do instead. :)

Hope you are better soon. We drink, drink, drink. Take a tincture of echinacea and/or homeopathic treatment. Wash hands a ton and keep handles, remotes etc clean using alcohol.
