Hi I have exactly the same car, I cleaned the air intake but i didnt find the maf. The only difference is that my filter is bigger, i though the maf was inside of it but it does not. Do you have any idea of where else could it be located or IF some some lancer doesnt has maf Regards
did it crank??? mine won't crank or start and went through puddle and I think it may cause a short an electrical problem I think imma go tonight and change the fuse????
Hopefully this didn't cause a problem. CRC mass air flow sensor says do no use on mitsubishi cars on the side of the can. Don't think it'll really be all that damaging though.
***** I believe the AC Compressor fuse was like a 10 or 15 amp. At the time I replaced it I didn't have one and only had a 20 amp so I used that one till I ran to the store and bought the correct fuse.

@son goku No I don't believe it's the same issue. If your car is doing that I would check the O2 sensors. On my car once I changed that fuse it completely fixed my issue.
my lancer starts but its really weak. especially when its cold. if i gas it a bit it clears up and get the power back. could it be the same problem as yours?

My guess would be the ignition fuse.

Does your fuel pump prime with key on without cranking can you hear the pump

I bet it was the gas fuse ,15a last from front to back .i have 2002 244,000 runs like new i work on it my self.good job .
