    I have a 2006 Lancer and it looks very similar to this one. Found it challenging to remove bottom bolts without going under the car. There are many tricks to removal but I found an impact wrench necessary.

    Hi, my brother had bought a galant and replaced the manifold where only one sensor doesn’t connect, not sure if he got a aftermarket one from a different model with the same motor, sensor said ifs, won’t run without that sensor obviously but is there any way around that? Does he need a pull another manifold off of a junkyard galant like I told him to begin with?

    I’m getting code po171 I’ve changed everything fuel pump, fuel filter, cleaned injectors, replaced Bank 1 o2 sensor, fuel pump relays, fuel pressure regulator. And I’m still getting the code I hear a vacuum leak but can’t see it at all is this where the issue is coming from my engine has hard starts and loses power when I press the throttle unless I let off completely and press it again

      Did you try replace Mass air flow sensor it does sound like you have a hidden broken hose somewhere run a smoke test if you can.

    I got error 4001 a lancer 2006 thought only to clean the egr and throttle body, do you recommend removing the intake anyway? Another question, do you know if the microfilter is changed to those injectors? Since I bought it I have only cleaned the injectors with pressurized. greetings good video.

    I have coolant leaking into my transmission speed sensor on left side of engine. Does not overheat..pressure test shows no leaks. What could be causing this? No one can figure it out. Sensor is swimming in coolant and causing shift problems. Cannot replace sensor until I find what's causing coolant leak.2001 mitsubishi galant v6

      Sounds like you have a head gasket leak.

    So would this cause fuel smell, hard engine shaking, and white smoke from the exhaust

    • @kashfix9160
      @kashfix9160  Před 3 lety +2

      Could you describe more of your problem? White smoke could cause due to burning oil in engine or antifreeze parking into head cylinder.

      You don’t need to remove intake a part it can be removed individually and it’s held with two 10mm bolts. Injector micro filter can be replace on many cars but I haven’t ever replace on Mitsubishi’s. You need to double check on that. Thanks for your comment and watching my video.
