- Greetings Viewers! This is a Mitsubishi Lancer 2004 1.3L M/T CS1A. In this video I am going to demonstrate how to calibrate IACV sensor. Not every IACV requires calibration, but if a new IACV starts to drop rpm on engine load / no load, then it needs to be calibrated like i have demonstrated! My IACV is plug and play type. 4G18 engine throttle body only has one screw to adjust.
It is very challenging to see what is the exact problem because the check engine light is off.
Ahan lancer has that problem. If u unplug iacv no engine light will be shown haha😁

I also have a problem with lancer with 4g63 engine , idles too high (1500) . Tried the other way around (screwing in the base screw) but it did not worked, any other trick ???!!!!

Hello There! This issue is mainly due to a faulty IACV or an uncalibrated IACV sensor. Firstly One Should Try Servicing The IACV (Cleaning with carb cleaner & Then Spraying Some WD 40 on the spring side of it). And then put it back and try to calibrate as shown in video! If that doesnt work then It means you have to replace your IACV sensor!

@@casperthelab yes. Please do the calibration correctly. Chinese iacv are a bit slower than oem iacv but will work fine🤝

Hi bhai asalamalekum I am having a Mitsubishi lancer GLX 2007 1.3 I went to check my car on the ODB COMPUTER and one code a code is showing it says that( ELC / AT CVT -- 52 DCC SYSTEM FAIL ) the computer gut said that its a Gera box problem but I said the gear is shifting well so can u tell me the meaning of this code and how can I fix my lancer GLX 1.3 from this problem so please please bhai I need ur help on this I think u r the one who can help me I wait for ur reply thank you
ok i did some go through in the service manual and found this regarding code 52:-
The inhibitor switch detects the selector lever position (P, R, N, D, Ds, L), and sends the information to the engine-CVT-ECU.
If the inhibitor switch has been sending multiple
signals for at least 30 seconds, the circuit may be
open and diagnosis code No.52 will be set.
PROBABLE CAUSES
• Malfunction of inhibitor switch
• Damaged harness wires and connectors
• Malfunction of the engine-CVT-ECU

I have an 02 lancer oz rally special edition and on cold start my rpm jumps to about 2300 then drops, when I turn on ac the rpm goes from 850 to about 1200 rpm. Sometimes at a light the car feels like I’m stepping on the gas at the same time, I changed the idle control sensor and still the same thing! Any advice?
I think your throttle plate has eroded

ayrıca karaağaç 327 sadece 4g93 motor ECU'su ile çalışır. 4G13 VEYA 4G15 VEYA 4G18 motor ECU'su ile çalışmaz.
LAUNCH marka tarayıcıyı veya VDM2 tarayıcıyı kullanın.
eğer hala çalıştıramıyorsanız gaz kelebeği gövdesinin üstündeki rölanti bypass vidasını videomda gösterildiği gibi tamamen kapatmalısınız. ve bundan sonra yaklaşık yarım saat boyunca akü terminalini +ve çıkarın ve ardından terminali yeniden bağlayın. ardından motoru çalıştırın ve sorunun çözülüp çözülmediğini kontrol edin. lütfen soğuk çalıştırmada rpm'nin 1200-1800 gibi yüksek olduğunu unutmayın. daha sonra motor ısındıkça devir yavaşça 750-850 devir/dakika olan normal hıza iner.

What protocol is our lancer? My scanner says it cant connect to ecu
I dont know the exact protocol. To connect lancer u either need VDM2 scanner or LAUNCH scanners. They easily connect

I already did, steerinf assis, cold start and idle up function works, the only problem is when ac is on it goes down and recovers back up

I have 2004 lancer automatic with 4g93. The rpm cranks some times automatically and every time when I start the car in morning and the temperature in at cool. Any idea what might be the issue?

@journeywithhaseeb bhai abhi sardio ma jab subha gari thandi hoti ha tostart karna khud race zayda hoti jaisa baar baar banda khud accelerate kar raha ho ha aur jab temp wali needle mid ma ya thori darmayan ma hoti ha to sai ho jati ha. Aur ab kabhi kabhi ma notice kya ha asa hi chala do to chalta chalta rasta ma yehi karti ha

This doesn't always work. There is a tricks ,specially if you install a new one and rpm higher and SAS mode doesn't help.
If rpm higher then do the opposite of what i did. I.e tighten the bypass screw instead🤝🙏
What's the trick? I install a new IAC but the rpm are high, y try to tight the bypass screw but it only get 1 turn and get to de end

1. check tps value. try lowering it < 507 mv
2. loosen iacv's plastic lock (brownish color / blackish color sometimes) and unscrew the whole thing until it starts to come out (the tip). then install again and let iacv adjust it self then check. if u still didnt understand send me a whatsapp on +923352184399 and i'll send a demo video on how to do it
