52Kards Because i cant find the video that you was talking about
"...but not your standard pinky break, you're gonna stick pretty much your whole joint into that break."
>mfw that is my standard pinky break
if that's your standard pinky break then you're doing it wrong ...trust me. the standard break is just a tiny gap you make with your pinky.
Scarecrow545 lmfao
Oh boy..
Same
lol
I've practiced this so much I think I'm gonna classic pass out.
Nikolas Peesker 😂😂😂
*uncontrollably neutral laughter* nice
@Brawly Boy YOOOOOOO I POSTED THAT 5 YEARS AGO LMMMAAAAOOOOOOO THANKYOU FOR REMINDING ME OF THIS COMMENT 😂😭🤣
It’s so easy . I mastered it while watching this video.
Lmao I commented that 5 years ago why are you just now replying???
Extremely straightforward yet detailed tutorial. It was literally only your tutorial out of all the ones I have watched that helped me do it for the first time. It's muscle memory from here now. I genuinely appreciate you Asad : )
Brilliant Tutorial!
If you have small hands or are struggling to lift the cards, try doing it to the side. Gravity will push the cards down and you can easily slip them underneath. Finish with a riffle as you turn your hands back up straight and it's still invisible and if your worried, say something like 'Yeah, I've been doing this trick since....' Or something else like that. The person will look up at you and if you make eye contacts you can quickly do the pass and there's no way they'll see it. Thanks for the great tutorial!
The pass is such a great move and this is one of the first places I learned the move so thank you for explaining it properly!
Posted 11 years ago and the best tutorial I've seen so far, thanks, I'm gonna try learning this.
You make my day... Your the best tutorial maker of card magic
This is by far the best tutorial I have seen on the pass, very in depth
Now I see why you say this is such a beautiful move because even though experimentation I have found a ton of amazing uses for it. I never used to perform this move but thanks to you, I find myself performing it every time I'm holding a pack of cards. Thank you so so much, Asad.
Been attempting this with another tutorial for the past few days now. They gave a good demonstration of it as well as a good practice, but you described it a lot better, and has ultimately helped me greatly towards doing this pass better. Thanks for the vid :)
Brother that was a very nice calm tutorial. Clear English and no jerky motions. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the tutorial! I’ve been doing the Herrmann Pass pretty much exclusively for as long as I’ve been doing magic. That said, one of the best covers I’ve found for any pass is solid eye contact with your participant(s).
One of the better explanations I've seen
Best vid I've seen for the classic pass. Thank you.
Your "thumb riffle" that closes the pass is the perfect misdirection, the whole gesture makes sense!!!!
Your tutorials are brilliant they really are the best ive found so far. Thank you
your tutorial on the classic pass is the best i saw on yt.
Im practising it for about a month n im gonna upload a video of me performing it.
thank you very much!
Very clean, and detailed explanation.
Though I thought you needed some time allocated in explaining on covering the massive break on the left side of the video when you do the pass. It's not as important since this is for beginners, but I think it's important to point out as well.
I also see a lot of people on CZcams having a DEATH GRIP on the deck when doing the pass. Smoothness is one thing you pointed out, and having a gentle grip on the deck really helps with that.
Just my two cents~
WAIT, why are you here 🤣🤣🤣
How tf aren't you verified?
You do it so well! For those dicks that criticise comments of people who claim to have learned it in five, I learned it 5 mins too. The mechanics of the move are not that difficult and you may well be able to do it first time as I was some 5 years ago. The difference being it was rough and quite obvious move. Too make fluid is what takes the time and practice. It took several weeks of doing over and over again before I was comfirtable adding it into my acr. 5 years later im still using and improving my technique
There are dozens of good tips to help in this video. Most of the comments are about difficulty of moving the packs, the bestvadvice would be to swing cut 2/3 of the deck to the bottom. This makes the top packet half the thickness and much much easier to handle. Either way be prepared for a sore little finger for the first few days of practice. Hope this was useful
thank you now i don't have to do those other card controls your the best
Your tutorials are great and easy to understand thanks alot:)
this is soooo easy.... I watched the video once, with no audio and mastered the move.
Still, I wouldn't have got it without this expert's video, so thanks a lot 52Kards for a gr8 tutorial once again.
@InvisibleSleight I'll upload some more of the non-generic moves later on :P I'm trying to cover all of the fundamental stepping stones first!
Thank you so much for this tutorial and for all the things you teach us on your channel.
A cordial greeting.
Just wanted to say that you're a big inspiration to me in magic and if I ever go to the US I'd be really honored to meet you. I believe there's a Houdini in all of us that can be brought out when we open our first deck of Bicycle playing cards ;)
To make this pass even more invisible look at the person and make eye contact but tell them like so you know how in magic blah bah bah. it really helps to give you that second of misdirecting their eyes from the cards
Yeah, this move is best done during an offbeat or a moment of relaxation. If you practice a ridiculous amount you can do it while your hands are being burned; but it's an unnecessary risk to take.
52Kards Why would you want to do this while being burned? Lol
Chef Ramsey Don't you mean something like "They're burnt... THEY'RE FUCKING BURNT YOU DONKEY!" etc?
+Scarecrow545 lol chef ramsey
Magivisual Films
Can you make the video of how to use the pass? I just mastered it and I can't get enough of it! It's so fun! The Q&A video you made was very helpful. Thanks.
Thank you very much Asad.
You do these tutorials with great effort.
Very much appreciated.
Asad i'd love to see another video of the classic pass in general explaining the common mistakes and tips to make it invisible like you performed on the Disturb Reality channel, I'd love to see a spectator's angle video but the reason iam asking for a spesific new video is because after seeing the video you've posted on Disturb Reality channel I still couldn't perfect my pass and people kept telling me it's visible, looking on your passes I can see nothing even watching it 4X times slower so I belive there are more tips you can teach.
Thanks so much for the speedy reply! And all your tutorials! You're actually a main reason why I was able to start learning the basics.
@MagicVycka Push up with your pinkie against the bottom card of the top packet. There shouldn't be much friction between your pinkie and the card you want to pass. If you have a very moist pinkie then that could be what is causing the problem. I would just recommend experimenting with slightly different finger positions to fix the problem
Great explanation, this must work in the longer term. Practice puts brain in your muscles !
in 1 week i mastered this trick ,man you are a great teacher!!
Watched this vid when you first uploaded it and after a long time i finally can do it smoothly and fast!
A really excellent, clear and informative tutorial! Many thanks.
thanks, very helpful i've been able to do the mechanics of the pass but struggled to hide this but the techniques you gave worked great
one of the most useful moves ive ever learnt. a really really good move once you learn it!
You have the best tutorials. Thank you!
you have no idea of how many new magicians are getting attracted to the art of sleight of hand. the channel serves as a perfect example of tutoring new magicians yet maintaining the level of secrecy that original content creators would apreciate.
After countless videos I watched on how to do the pass this video is the one that taught me how to do it. I'm not fast and unnoticeable yet but that comes with practice. The thing I missed that Jarek:120 or anyone else didnt mention was moving the top packet to the right before trying to lift it up.
Thank you for the tutorial. Very well-presented.
Great tutorial, I really that I will check your site many times.
Excellent! Practice makes permanent!
this is how u teach about cards ! rally man u teach way bettter then all others i really liked it
thanks for the tutorial
really helped me to learn the pass
practicing it at the moment..this is just fun...keep up the good work dude
thanks this is the best pass video iv seen
I'm glad you clarified the other passes being variations of the two basics. All of those different named passes were confusing me as to which one to learn first.
asad i love your way of doing thepass thanks alot
You're a good teacher thank you so much
Thank you practice is definitely in the works
Very good tutorial. Thanks for posting.
got it nailed,,, cheers, , true what you said that speed will improve over time, i don't even have to think about it now.. and i agree that being smooth with it is way more important than speed... cheers, asad thumbs up 👍::-)
Nicely explained, thanks...
best tutorial on classical pass so far
I really like this move, I use it almost all the time and it's completely invisible. One thing I recommend for people who are just starting out, I would look into learning the riffle pass. In my experience, it gives me justification in bringing my hands in a position that the classic pass requires since everybody riffles their deck. And it could also justify any movement of the packs. Some spectators just assume it's because of the riffling. It has like a 90% success rate. Good luck!
I remember this video before three months when I learned my first trick and I didn't even know to grab a deck right now I watched it and did the classic pass from the first time thanks man
Best classic pass tutorial i found
Really good tutorial, helped a lot. Thanks!
You have very direct and superb explinations man, good stuff :)
awesome videos, your sleights are smooth. can you do a video on the top card cover pass? i've seen a couple other videos on it but i wanted to see how yours looked and your advice on it. thanks
Man my pass used to suck but after your tip to place the index finger in front of the deck I s like invisible now even if I do it slowly thank you so much bro much love and respect❤️❤️
cool man. i learned something new and thought i had it down pretty well. getting the top packet not to *hit* is tough as a beginner. my advice, imagine the packet switching paces on an angle, it curves around the bottom packet very smoothly and sharply. you have to really want it, like when scoring a goal in hockey, you have to really want it to work.
I love your videos. Thank you so much!
clear and concise, thanks dude!
Thank you so much! Helped a lot
i love you man this was the most helpful trick i have ever done thanks to you rock on man tnks
Well done explained thanks man
You are INSANELY good at the pass. Im still practising
come and have a look at mine on my channel. you are always practicing n matter how well you can do it you are always practicing to make it better.
took me 5 years to get it down solid with no noise or flashing....one of the hardest slights ive ever had to learn.
and i had to learn it from a book.
Do you normally do your pass straight away after the card has been returned to the deck?
Or do you pause and try use a bit of misdirection? If so could you please give some examples of how you get the spectators eyes off burning the deck
Thank you asad
Thank you. Helps a lot.
really good tutorial !
Very nice video, great explanation keep it up !!!
Thanks a lot :))))
Great tutorial. Saying that works for a lot of things: slow is smooth, and smooth is fast.
Expert at the card table deck!
Thank you, you are a good man 👍
Very good tutorial! Thanks
Thank you so much. You made my pass more invisible. This lecture gave informations to me .
Thanks....I don't seem to have a problem with Hermans Pass I got that smooth and natural looking with the turnover and straight but always had problems with this Classic Pass until watching your video
I'll try that, thanks for the advice
great to learn the classic pass :)

Fantastic--Thank You!!!!

Ouch

The video is so detailed!
But if there's subtitle, it will be better.
And I've learnt a lot from this video, thx!
Cards end up on the floor, always. :(

This video is really good.
Awesome tutorial :)
Thank you so much for this video :D
thanks man, u helped me out alot :)
great tutorial helps me a lot :)
SO MANY GOOD REACTIONS THANKS
Good tutorial. I've been trying to learn this from 'The Royal Road to Card Magic' and the description is appalling (and lacks illustrations too) so your tutorial is very welcome
Very helpful! Thanks!
Thx for the tutorial. It's best tutorial
It's normal. It will go away with time and eventually you will be able to do it without any discomfort.
- Asad
Thanks for the tip. I'll try that.
