Hoover Spotless portable carpet cleaner fh11300 wont spray or just dribbles fix

my wifes portable carpet cleaner stopped spraying out cleaner so i took it apart and found out the solenoid pump was hot and not doing much. i took it apart and found the piston (silver part) and copper piece were stuck together. i reassembled and it still didnt work. Found out the little mushroom check valve in front of the copper piece was incorrectly orientated. The mushroom head should face the copper piece. To hear what it was doing I disconnected the hot wire from the vacuum part. the biggest pain was putting it back together since the wire that goes to the switch is just long enough. In hindsite I would the the screws that hold the middle section together out so that assembly would be easier. Also to take it apart all you need is the remove the three screws below the waste and cleaning tank. Hope this helps someone else ouy.
