that line is very funny, but in it is another example of the show's lack of understanding on how the concept of royalty & nobility works & specifically how the institution of monarchy operates. As the wife of the deceased king & the mother of his children (well, his children by technicality), two of whom have become kings themselves, at this point in the story Cersei most assuredly IS a queen, though not the queen consort or the queen regnant (at least until Tommen dies). Cersei at this point in the clip is queen dowager. .

@mrlopez2681 Not really. In medieval era, men, as Kings, were ruling the kingdoms. Therefore, there was not a lot of Queens regnant. When you were saying "the Queen", you were refering to the King's wife, who shared her husband status but had none of his powers. A Queen mother would be of a lower rank than the Queen consort and the title was not official anyway. So Olenna was right when she said that Cersei was not "the Queen". She's just the Queen mother. And she has no right to the throne. Cersei usurped the throne.
Only Olenna could threaten Littlefinger, tell off the Sand Snakes, taunt Tywin Lannister, and still keep her head.
Don't forget insulting Cersei Lannister in the face. That's a remarkable achievement

Diana Rigg deserves an Emmy for her performance. She stole every scene she was in. I'd like to see her in more scenes with Tyrion.
Tyrion will kill her. She set him up to die for Joffrey's murder. She also set up Sansa to die, by the way. Olenna is funny, but she's a villain.
That was an accident. She never tried to kill Tyrion, and Sansa was safe with littlefinger. That was part of the deal.

Im shure Littlefinger told Olenna that was his plan. the deal was "I give you the poison, you kill Joffrey: I take Sansa and Margaery is safe", if not so, why would Littlefinger help Olenna to kill Joffrey? The point of an ally is that every side wins, an of course Olenna would never make a deal with LF without knowing what he wants.
But Tyrion doesn't know that Olenna was involved in Joffrey's murder.

I'm sure everybody knows this story by now, but anyway... the necklace wasn't just a fake prop, it was a real, expensive necklace. Dame Diana didn't know that at the time, and her throwing it was an improvised moment that no-one was expecting. The whole crew panicked and had to go hunting through the foliage on the cliffs to try and find it again.
I'm pretty sure I'm about to say what everyone has already said 100x before: Dorne's plot sucked in the 5th & 6th season. However, the ONE wonderful moment we got out of it was when Ollena verbally annihilated the Sand Snakes. 😆😂

I don't know, I didn't hate Dorne, I just thought it was very; "meh". As individual scenes go, I thought most of the scenes were fine (note, "most of them" does not include that horrendous attempt of fighting choreography from 'Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken'), but as a full subplot it was uneventful. Basically nothing really happened at all during season 5 except in the finale.
