Wrexham fans go wild as the club returns to the Football League

- Fans of Wrexham AFC celebrate in absolute ecstasy as their club is promoted to the Football League for the first time in 15 years.
Wrexham comfortably beat Boreham Wood 3-1 to win promotion and gain the National League title at the Racehorse Ground.
Wrexham were bought by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney in 2020 and has since gained a notable following in both the UK and across the pond.

Why are people salty over the fact Wrexham got money? The owners simply put in their work on the business side of things just as the players put in their work on the field. It shouldn’t be ridiculed, in fact, it should be studied. Football club owners should learn a thing or 2 about them.

The only people I see insisting on this point are those that dislike America for one reason or another. If you say American you mean the United States of America. This would be the same thing if people insisted on calling food from Saudi Arabia, asian cuisine. It's far too broad and doesn't do the job that you want it to, namely being descriptive.

@@kbob9625 Well that incident had nothing to do with the event. It was an altercation between two individuals that started firing at each other. You can tell that because the two individuals involved plead guilty to reckless endangerment not to first degree murder. So it wasn't a mass shooter targeting the crowd as your original comment would seem to suggest. Hence why it's beyond absurd for you to be worried about a crazy mass shooter when attending a sporting event.

I'm Scottish and voted to remain. The Welsh know full well that they are far better off in the union. The people that want Wales to be independent are the sort of crackpots America has calling for a "national divorce".

I have no problems with any fans outside of Britain supporting Wrecsam because they're a fan of the TV show but in Britain you should always support your local team, Wrecsam itself had this problem with a lot of youngsters choosing to be Liverpool fans.

I doubt many people would describe Sir Anthony Hopkins as American simply because he has dual citizenship. He's Welsh by the way.
Canadians are famously nice people and Americans are famously arrogant, condescending assholes.
So it is important to make the distinction as it explains why Ryan is a typical cocky asshole.
Americans are the sort of idiots that write "lol" at the end of a comment as a way of showing that they believe themselves to be superior to others. I'm sure you know what I mean.
Lastly, Canada has free at-source healthcare for all like every other developed nation apart from one - the USA. The USA literally lets people die if they cannot afford medication or healthcare. This to me is one of the clearest indications that the USA is different to other developed nations. They just don't feel the same human empathy.
The US also has the highest murder rate in the developed world by far, locks up a higher percentage of its citizens, still allows slave labour in prison, has the death penalty, their police shoot dead more civilians than the rest of the developed world combined and have more mass shootings than any other nation.
America has also started more wars this century and killed more innocent civilians in the nations. I write this as perhaps someone will read it and realise America really does have serious empathy and humanity issues.
At lest abolish slavery completely. That would be a start.
