Recently many popular brands and their products have been under the scanner of FSSAI due to toxic substances found in their products. Abhi and Niyu touch upon the factors like poor condition of food testing labs, insufficient funds and resources, lack of governance with respect to food safety and various other reasons of why Indian food and Indian brands have become dangerous for consumption.
Food safety regulations are quite poor in India and there is an urgent need for stricter norms and better policies so that consuming packaged food doesn't cause us cancer and other health issues, but rather becomes healthy and tasty for our consumption. India needs to focus on improving the food quality and ensure that companies and brands follow all safety and quality regulations so that India can become a global food bank

In India, the majority of people don't know about this particular course, hence, awareness towards food is very least. Govt. also don't take this seriously. As you said, unsafe food has the capability to infect a huge chunk of the population. Still this is ignored.
In India, people do not want to eat healthy, just to save little money, and food industries also don't want to spend more on high quality raw materials. In today's food scenario, 3 major ingredients, refined wheat flour (maida), palm oil and sugar are the most used ingredients, jiske aage sabhi food industries ko ghutne tekne pdte hain, due to its cheap price. Foods that are made from high quality ingredients are often costly, which Indian consumers will never buy, which may result in the downfall of the food business. The import of palm oil in India has increased by 10 million metric tons, which was previously 8 million metric tons (I may be wrong in the numbers, but you can correct me). These 3 ingredients have created a never ending loop.
Another problem is lack of research for new food products as well as for food safety. Being the most populous country in the world, research on food safety that was carried out by Singapore, should happen in India on a frequent basis. But hey, nobody cares.
Another big problem is enforcement of laws, food companies think that we can do whatever we want. If, we take the example of Nestle cerelac, they were adding sugar to the product wayyyy before this news, nobody paid attention then.
FUN FACT: did you know, according to FSSAI, celebrities are also accountable if they are a part of misleading advertisements.
My request to all is that, make this a habit of yours, read labels before buying packaged food. You should have informed choices for what you eat.

Here in the UK, many companies and consumers believe that Indian foodstuffs are all contaminated. The preparation methods are not hygienic, and Indian companies ignore the buying countries rules and regulations or are not aware of them.
We watched a pani puri seller take a pee break. He went into the galli, took a piss, scratched his pubic and got back to his stall. We warned him and also made the people in the area aware. After a week the same public was eating from his stall. It's the culture and will not change.

Not only India, the food safety standards in the USA are also not up to the mark. It’s mostly the European countries that have higher food safety standards. The same brand of oatmeal has random ingredients in India and in the USA, but very clean ingredients in the European(with the same brand). Countries need to step up the food safety game.
There is fake olive oil being sold all around in the USA(and this can’t be differentiated from the original one). This is same as adulterated oils in India.
It’s very important for the consumers to go flip the pack that you are buying check the ingredients and nutritional value of a product. This way we can avoid lesser quality food products.
You guys are doing a great job in educating people of the country. (using hindi as the language of communication, this way it reaches more people in the country)

PLI file kar deta bhai fssai ka kaam hai ye sab agar fssai foreign companies pe case karti to supreme court sunata na. Patanjali pe case govt allopathic department ne hi Kiya tha Zara research kar liya karo har jagah faltu ka nationalism dikhane ki zarurat nahi hai.
Supreme court did not, case was filed by AIMS , even you can file PIL Public Interest Litigation (PIL). We need to remove bjp rss as these business are run by them.
What can supreme Court do? It's FSSAI's failure why Nestle is doing this ?because FSSAI is allowing this if FSSAI had set their rules perfectly then Nestle would have removed added sugar

Whom to blame ? Why they didn't say single word against government.
This is the most important issue that needs to addressed immediately. I have been saying the same things since 2017 regarding the product's ingredients difference but due to lack of knowledge, people ignored me. But now the issue has came out in the light, I hope it get addressed soon. thankyou for making this video and spreading good work.

For every restaurant/hotel/Dhaba selling food, there should be checking of availability of basic things such as proper equipment washing etc facilities before they are given a license to sell food. Additional testing should be done randomly at least twice a year to ensure good food standards. All such places should be granted a cleanliness score that should be prominently displayed in the store.

Our food and medicine regulations are relaxed compared to other developed nation..
Babies are not supposed to have anything other than mother's milk for at least 1 to 1.5 years after birth. The digestive system is not yet equipped to handle other foods. This is basic physiology.
A real concern about food testing is that they might use this extra step of "crop-to-shelf" testing as justification for raising prices for food greatly.
This currupt government also does not care about health of citizens 😢

Last Saturday, i tried to buy cocoa powder and had 2 options in mart.
1 Cadbury
2 Hershey
Both kept side byside and one was 225 and another 325 for same quantity.
One had only 30% cocoa and rest sugar
Another one was 100% cocoa powder.
If I want to add sugar in my drink, let me choose the quantity, not these companies.
Food safety and data privacy are big jokes in India. EU isme bohot bohot strict hai. Yaha jis bhi company ko jo bechna hai bech leti hai kyuki sarkar ko chahiye chanda aur hum consumers bhi budbak hai. humko chahiye saste products. Label vabel kisko samajh aata hai. Hum to MRP aur expiry dekhte hai bas.
