Prior to sharing one glass.. you get to spend alot more time with friends and talk to them even more.. the roulette prolongs it.. if everyone has their own glass.. its acceptable.. but the drink wont last and you're just going to be drunk without enjoying the session

At 4:00 you asked, What happens if you don't give back the glasses to the Tanggero/"Main guy".
Well the Tanggero keeps an eye for the glasses and he makes sure that the sequence is absolute.
You can't throw it away or hide it. Tanggero would get a new pair of shot glasses
-on another note the "runner" is decided upon discussion, like rock paper scissors, some parlor-games-what-not. Sometimes decided on a whim. Say if there is someone in the group who want's to learn how to drive, I will be like "hey go get us some food. Use my car, here's the key now go and learn how to drive" lmao
-Also the "substitute" that must consume the shot can be from the outside of the group. They could be: neighbors passing by, Strangers and acquaintance passing by, Could be your friend's parents. Heck even police officers on duty can take the shot. I said "passing by" because these drinking session usually done outside of the house, You can do it in your porch.
Its not actully a rule its just how filipino behave in drinking parties

its a comedy vid bro. you probably didn't get it though as its a vid designed for filipinos (domestic comedy). since I'm a Brit-Filipino its like for example Phoneshop or Ali G. We get the comedy as Brits because its based on reality over there in the UK, but people from other places won't. Since filipinos speak english too, Bogart's vids sorta reflect the phenomenons and trends within everyday ph society and turn it into something like a foreign wildlife show. When you see your own culture redacted into something like that, its something that can make you laugh as you're a part of that culture and you can associate with the things he's saying, but find it odd how its said that way. So i can see how anyone who isnt from this culture can get confused by it. a better video for the inuman cultire is done by a female filipino vlogger (who also does info vids on dating filipinas) called Rubeauti, and its called "How is the Traditional way of Drinking in the Philippines".
