this movie was made in early 2010's but it's about the mid 90's. we lost lots of good people to terror back then. and military service in turkey was mandatory. so half of the soldiers weren't "tough guys who volunteered" just 18-20 year olds dragged into defense in the eastern mountains or the borders. i bet there is a subtitled version of the full movie on youtube but i dunno how the copyright thing works, you might check it out if you are interested but i dunno how it works out if you publish it. that's a mostly dark movie but also has funny moments in that. but based on a few stories compiled together and the writing & directing crew worked with people who were on that front to make it look real.

Technically, it's a film scene based on a real event. Intelligence has been received about a possible raid on a forward radio role outpost. The squad going to the post for combat support makes a simulated raid as if they were enemy soldiers and catches the soldiers on guard asleep. And then the captain gathers the soldiers to explain the extent of the danger and criticises the incident by giving examples. He gives them stern warnings on the assumption that if a sentry falls asleep, what will happen and everyone will be killed.

bruh lol you dont get the story, the summary you read is not accurate. So there is one soldier "on guard duty" who falls asleep. The commander cathces him, and gives this speech to make sure none of them makes the same mistake. It's not like he gives this speech because they lost men, sure they did lost but the real reason they did is that guy fell asleep.
