I finally put 2+2 together and realized that Music Mike is the Mike Greene from the Ohio Superstaton. What a great radio career. I, too, worked in radio back in the late 60's--early 80's, and Mike has made me realize that one can revive the fun and personal satisfaction that comes with working in the industry.

Mike any chance now that your back that you will do new videos of songs with your information and trivia about the song? I missed you man!
It's very possible. I've been away from creating new videos for quite some time. The problem is music royalties. My new videos keep getting taken down by the YT police.....even though I pay royalties through my radio station.

I missed you Mike. Was concerned something bad happened to you. I see from one of your responses that CZcams is causing trouble. That's why I never got involved as it's too much of a hassle. A shame because I have some great videos I could share. Stop by periodically just to say hello if nothing else.
Mike: You've got a great voice❤ Boy I'd love to be your neighbor . You've a great ear for different genres . I've a great memory for so many different artist too . Unfortunately , radio has become segregated again . That being said , those of us who appreciate good music have a different standard and don't let anything or anyone tell us what to like ! My mom brought home all sorts of music from Laverne Baker, Sammy Turner to Tom Jones, Petula Clark etc. My generation picked up with classic oldies , Motown, Three Dog Night , Led Zeppelin , Hendricks, Dusty Springfield , the Beatles etc . When they took out music appreciation in schools they did a terrible thing as so many young people have no reference as to who influenced the artist they like today . We just loss Meatloaf 💔 Love your channel keep doing what your doing. You're much appreciated ! ❤

It's a shame you could not use KXKVI from the Outer Limits. That episode is why I became a radio engineer.
That episode inspired me to get into radio, too.

Why I can't find your radio station app
KVKVI doesn't have a specific "app". You can play us on your phone using the player on our website. Next to "Listen Live", click either the MP3 or AAC links. You can also here us on apps like "Tunein", "Online Radio Box", "radio.net", etc. You can also play KVKVI from your Alexa. Just say "Alexa, play K-V-K-V-I" (say the call letters slowly).
Mike, what is your theme music, please.
It's a radio station jingle....without singers. It was used at many radio stations in the 60's and 70's that were consulted by Bill Drake. A couple of those stations are KHJ Los Angeles and CKLW in Windsor/Detroit.
